        웨어러블 테크놀로지를 적용한 융합 패션디자인 개발 연구 -빛과 형태변화 표현을 중심으로-

        This study researches the application methods of Wearable Technology (WT) realizing the convergence of Design and Electronics that could broaden the fashion expression boundaries to correspond to current convergence trends. For this, students in the Department of Fashion design and the Department of Electronics conducted an oriented convergence-design-workshop. The initial step of the workshop, included a lecture on WT including existing cases and brainstorming. As a result, two types of concepts; 'Light' using the lighting technology and 'Complex' using transforming and lighting technologies together were generated. Designers created garments that did not externally expose digital devices and engineers then configured basic systems with the minimum size of the devices applying. At the development stage, designers constructed internal structures of garments which do not influence the comfort situation and activities of those wearing the garments. Engineers then adjusted and finished the fashion prototypes' whole WT systems drawing on designers' guidelines. As the result of this study's workshop, the fashion prototypes were extracted by collaboration according to WT concepts; therefore, there could be the promising potential to broaden fashion expression boundaries through the application of WT.

        공중유형에 따른 미세먼지 위험 대응 행동의도 연구 : 충남지역 주민을 대상으로 한 공중 상황 이론의 확장 적용

        The particulate matter (PM) risk, which is being dealt with at the level of social disaster in South Korea, is not detected through direct experience in most cases due to the minute size and occurrence uncertainty of PM, although it is always present in reality. Also opinions on the causes of PM are divided. PM is still in a world of uncertainty. In addition, there exist large differences by sectors and regions. The Chungnam province, which is the region of focus for the study, houses large-scale emission facilities including a number of coal-fired power plants, petrochemical complexes, and steel mills. The Chungnam province is located in the west of Korea, adjacent to China, and it is known that transboundary pollutants including PM and yellow dust are easily noticeable in this region. This situation causes conflicts among publics over the definition, management, and solution of the PM risk. PM becomes a key problem in the region, thus forming publics with different interests. Therefore, it is necessary to analyze the publics’ perceptions of risk situations and to figure out how these different perceptions lead to the different levels of anxiety and fear toward the PM risk, and result in different risk-coping responses such as information seeking, adaptive behaviorsn and mitigating behaviors. In this context, Grunigs situational theory of publics was expanded by examining the mediating role of anxiety and fear and by including various behavioral intentions against PM that have not been investigated by the original situational theory. Based on this background, this study aims to provide an empirical basis for establishing an effective risk-communication strategy for the Chungnam public. A survey was conducted with 533 residents of the Chungnam province, and a structural equation model was analyzed using SPSS and AMOS statistical programs. First, level of involvement had the greatest influence on anxiety, fear, and information seeking among three situational variables, which include problem recognition, constraint recognition, and level of involvement. It was found that the higher the level of involvement with the PM risk in the Chungnam province, the greater the levels of anxiety, fear, and information seeking tendency. In addition, it was found that the higher the level of problem recognition of the PM risk in the Chungnam province, the greater the anxiety. However, the effects of constraint recognition on anxiety, fear, and information seeking were not statistically significant. Second, anxiety and fear showed differential effects on information seeking, mitigation behavioral intentions, and adaptive behavioral intentions for coping with PM risks. These results not only show that anxiety and fear are differentially generated according to key issues, but also indicate that their influences on behavioral tendencies are also different. Anxiety and fear also have different effects on behavioral tendencies. Third, the mediating effects of problem recognition and level of involvement on mitigation behavioral intention and adaptive behavioral intention through anxiety were found, and a mediating effect of involvement on mitigation behavioral intention through fear and information seeking was also found. Lastly, influencing variable path differences to risk-coping behavior intentions between active and aware publics were detected. Based on these results, communication strategies for PM risk communication in the Chungnam province were discussed.

        웨어러블 기능성 스마트 패션제품 개발 연구 - 특정사용자를 위한 특수한 기능성 구현을 중심으로 -

        This study developed smart fashion prototypes that provide utilitarian functionality by combining Fashion and Electronics regarding the IT focused convergence tendency in modern industries. A convergence R&D workshop was performed by Fashion design majors and Engineering majors for the study. As a result, 5 functional smart fashion prototypes were developed and the outline of each prototype are as follows. The 1<sup>st</sup> prototype, ‘Hidden Camera Detecting Coat’ focused on gender-related crimes. The coat uses infrared lighting and LED technologies to provide a function to detect hidden cameras in suspicious public spaces such as toilets. The 2<sup>nd</sup> prototype, ‘Heating-massage Suit’ targeted patients with musculoskeletal system difficulties. The suit uses heating and vibration technologies to provide a heating massage treatment for patients with ongoing difficulties in their daily lives. The 3<sup>rd</sup> prototype is an air-bag jacket to prevent sexual molestation on public transportation. The jacket extends its volume through pressure sensing, air compressing, motors and 3D-printing technology to secure the wearer’s personal preventive space between the user’s body and others. The 4<sup>th</sup> prototype is a town wear for people suffering from synesthesia. People with synesthesia inadvertently see colors when exposed to certain sounds. This town wear uses sound sensing, air compressing, motors and 3D-printing technology to provide sound prevention and a comfortable sound playing function. The 5<sup>th</sup> prototype is a set of a vest and a gloves for visually impaired people. The vest and gloves uses DMS, voice playing, vibration technology to provide distance measuring and warning functions.

      • 무등산 일대 암석의 광물학적 연구

        무등산 지역은 광주광역시 동부와 전라남도 화순군 서부 및 담양군 남부지역이 만나는 곳에 위치한 무등산(1,187m)과 그 주위 지역을 포함하는 곳으로, 본 연구지역은 무등산 일대의 중생대 화성활동으로 형성된 암석을 중심으로 이루어졌다. 무등산 일대의 대표적인 암상으로 중생대 백악기 석영 안산암, 석영반암, 미문상 화강암, 무등산 용암이 분포하고 있다. 암석화학적으로 미문상 화강암은 화강암 내지 화강섬록암에 해당하며 무등산 용암은 안산암질 용암에 해당한다. 무등산은 암석학적으로 많은 연구가 되어있으나, 광물학적인 연구는 미진하여 무등산 일대에 대한 광물학적 연구를 실시하였다. 전남 화순군에 위치한 안양산을 포함하여 광주광역시 무등산 지왕봉, 의상봉, 낙타봉, 바람재, 풍암재, 입석대, 백마능선, 얼음바위에서 채취한 암석시료를 X-선 회절분석(X-ray diffraction, XRD), 에너지 분산 X-선 분광법(Energy Dispersive X-ray Spectroscopy, EDS) 분석을 실시하여 결정학적 특성을 알아보았다. XRD 분석결과 모든 시료에서 사장석과 석영이 가장 우세하게 관찰되었으며, 특징적으로 고온에서 급랭하여 형성되는 광물인 Sanidine과 Cristobalite가 minor phase로 관찰되었다. EDS분석결과로는 규소 및 산소의 원자비율이 80% 이상으로 많은 양을 차지하고 있었으며, 알루미늄, 포타슘 등의 순서로 분포하였다. 입석대에서는 다른 지역에서는 전혀 관찰되지 않았던 철과 마스네슘의 비율이 각각 약 1.4%와 0.4%로 관찰되었다.

        미세먼지 언론 보도 내용분석 : 충남지역 미세먼지 관련 전국지와 지역지 비교

        Risks including the particulate matter (PM) risk have been treated as an objective field, but recently, the view that risks should be viewed subjectively has grown as studies have found perceptions of the same risk to vary among people. This means risks are defined by the publics who are involved with the risk initiation, processes, and outcomes. In this context, the news media play a pivotal role as the dominant communication channel for the publics to get acquainted with diverse opinions about scientific information, characteristics, and severity of risks, which normally are invisible. However, the news does not always play a positive role in representing risks. Media, by its nature, tend to report sensitive and stimulating events with high social spillover, exaggerating certain aspects of the risk and omitting the rest. This kind of media reporting practice results in the formation of biased public opinion with selective risk information. This tendency is more pronounced when the cause of the risk is uncertain, the impact is greater, and when the consensus is not well established. A such, it is important to investigate how the media construct the PM risk. Since the PM risk is serious in the Chungnam region, it is also important to find out what kind of difference there is in the way national and local newspapers handle the PM risk. Based on this background, the study examined the news media representations of the PM risk through the content analysis based on agenda-setting theory and framing theory. Specifically, this study aimed to analyze news media coverage between national and local news frames about PM in the Province of Chungnam in order to investigate media representations, frames, news sources, and conflict structures. The results showed that the perceptions of PM risks in the Chungnam region were amplified due to workplace emissions such as coal-fired power stations and steel mills from 2019. The majority of articles represent simple information, mere data remotely related to PM, and neutral news coverage. The framing analysis results showed that PM-related news in the Chungnam region explained well the relationship between responsibility attributions and countermeasures for decreasing the level of PM. But there was a tendency to oversimplify and cover the PM issue as an independent event. This suggests that the news coverage on the PM issue in the Chungnam region is fragmentary and superficial without specific and clear solutions. The government and politicians, being the most used news sources and even the main actors in conflicts, have emerged as the key players to solve the PM risk. Furthermore, they functioned as the primary definer for the PM problem in the Chungnam region. However, there were no statistically significant differences between national and local newspaper coverages in the areas of media representations, frames, news sources, and conflict structures. These results suggest that local media should report more in-depth local risk issues based on locality and risk proximity. More theoretical implications were discussed based on the results.
