본 연구는 TMR에 사용된 조사료원의 종류가 염소 반추위 발효 특성에 미치는 영향을 조사하였다. 시험에 사용된 조사료원은 볏짚(RS), 이탈리안 라이그라스(IRG), 티모시(TIM) 및 알팔파(ALF)을 이용하여 시험용 TMR을 제조하였다. In vitro 반추위 발효 실험은 24, 48 및 72시간 동안 진행하였고, 각 시간별 발효성상(발효가스, 휘발성지방산, 암모니아태 질소)을 조사하였다. 시험사료의 조단백질 및 비섬유성 탄수화물 함량은 RS, IRG, TIM 그리고 ALF 순으로 높았다. 발효 24시간에서는 valerate와 암모니아태 질소에서 유의적인 차이가 관찰되었고, ALF 시험구가 가장 높았고, RS가 가장 낮았다. 발효 48시간에서는 총 가스 발생량에서 유의적 차이가 관찰되었고(p<0.05), RS 시험구에서 가장 높은 가스발생량이 관찰되었다. 그러나 발효 72시간대에서는 RS 시험구에서 유의적으로 가장 낮은 가스발생량이 관찰되었다. 휘발성 지방산의 유의적인 차이는 발효 72시간에 관찰되었다. ALF 시험구에서 유의적으로 높은 총 휘발성지방산, butyrate 및 valerate 생성량이 관찰되었다(p<0.05). 메탄가스 발생량은 모든 발효시간동안 처리구간 유의적 차이가 관찰되지 않았다(p>0.05). 본 연구결과 염소에서 사료 내 조사료의 종류가 발효성상 변화에 영향을 줄 수 있는 것으로 나타났으며, 이는 염소에서 양질조사료의 활용성을 향상시키기 위한 기초자료로 활용될 수 있을 것으로 사료된다. 그러나 실제 가축에서의 생산성 변화 등의 효과를 확인하기 위하여 in vivo 상에서 추가적인 연구가 필요하다고 생각된다. In this study, the effect of forage sources in the total mixed ration (TMR) on in vitro goat rumen fermentation was investigated. Rice straw (RS), Italian ryegrass (IRG), timothy (TIM), and alfalfa (ALF) were used as forage sources. Each forage source was mixed with a commercial goat concentrate diet in the ratio of 1:1. Total 4 TMR were prepared. Rumen simulated in vitro fermentation using goat rumen fluid collected from the slaughterhouse was conducted until 72<sup>th</sup>. For fermentation parameters, gas production (GP), volatile fatty acids (VFAs), and ammonia nitrogen (NH<sub>3</sub>-N) were examined. All assays were performed at 24<sup>th</sup>, 48<sup>th</sup>, and 72<sup>th</sup> h of incubation individually. Contents of crude protein and non-fibrous carbohydrate were greater in the order of RS < IRG < TIM < ALF. Significant treatment effects were found in valerate and NH<sub>3</sub>-N at 24<sup>th</sup> h of incubation (p<0.05). ALF showed the greatest contents of them and RS was the lowest. At 48<sup>th</sup> incubation, a significant effect was detected at GP (p<0.05) and RS was greater than others. However, GP of RS was lower than others at 72<sup>th</sup>. Significant effects on Total VFA, butyrate, and valerate productions were found at 72<sup>th</sup> h of incubation (p<0.05). ALF showed the greatest production. Methane production from all treatments was not significantly different for each incubation time (p>0.05). The present study provided primary information on how goat rumen fermentation responds to different nutrient contents and forage sources of TMR. And the information could be used for the design or optimizing economical diet formulation for goats.
방목 및 사사 사육이 엘크 사슴의 사료섭취량, 증체량 및 녹용 생산성에 미치는 영향

본 연구는 엘크 사슴의 사육방식에 따른 사료섭취량, 체중 변화 및 녹용생산성에 미치는 영향을 확인하기 위하여 실시하였다. 엘크 사슴 12두를 공시하여 사사사육과 방목사육 형태로 사육하였으며, 처리구 간에 섭취량은 유사하게 나타났다. 일당증체량과 녹용생산성의 경우 방목사육 형태가 높게 나타났는데, 일당증체량은 방목사육 시 약 39% 높은 경향을 보였는데 이는 발육 개선효과가 있을 것으로 생각된다. 녹용 생산성 역시 방목사육 시에 약 19% 높은 경향을 보였다. 그러나 녹용 생산성의 경우 개체 간 편차가 심하여 통계적 유의성은 인정되지 않았다. 본 시험에서 방목사육 시에 일당증체량과 녹용 생산성이 높게 나타난 것은 방목에 따른 조사료원의 영양적 성분이 높기 때문으로 생각된다. 이러한 결과는 사슴 방목의 효과에 대한 기초자료로서 충분이 활용될 수 있을 것이며, 앞으로 계절과 방목지의 초종에 따른 녹용의 생산성과 안정성에 대한 추가적인 연구가 수행되어야 할 것으로 생각된다. This study was conducted to investigate the effect of pasture grazing and barn feeding system on the growth performance, weight gain and velvet antler productivity in Elk. Twelve 5-year-old elk stags about 273 kg were stratified by weight and randomly assigned by feeding system (a pasture grazing and a barn feeding, n=6). The average feed intake were not signigicant difference between two groups. Average daily gain for grazing and barn feeding group was 0.25 g and 0.29 g respectively, showing no significant difference. Velvet antler yield for grazing and barn feeding group was 7,700 g and 6, 960 g respectively, with no significant difference. In conclusion grazing group was better than barn feeding group in feed intake, body weight gain and velvet antler productivity. However, there were no statistical significant difference between the two group. These results may serve as the basis for further study of deer feeding system in Korea and further study needed to examine the grazing intensity and economic efficiency.
보충사료 급여수준이 엘크 수사슴의 생산성 및 방목강도에 미치는 영향

본 연구는 엘크 수사슴의 방목 시 보충사료 급여수준에 따른 생산성 변화와 적정 방목강도 구명을 통하여 초지활용성을 향상시키고 사슴 방목에 대한 기초자료를 제공하기 위하여 수행되었다. 공시가축은 평균체중 195kg의 2년생 엘크(Cervus canadensis) 수사슴 15두를 공시하였으며, 보충사료 급여수준에 따라 3개의 처리구(체중의 1.0%(T1), 체중의 1.5%(T2), 체중의 2.0%(T3))에 완전임의배치를 하였다. 실험기간동안 건물섭취량과 일당증체량은 보충사료 급여수준이 높을수록 유의적으로 높게 나타났다. 월별 건물섭취량과 증체량은 봄부터 여름까지 증가하다 가을로 들어서면서 감소하는 일반적인 사슴의 섭식패턴과 유사하게 나타났다. 그러나 뿔 성장기 보충사료 급여수준이 낮을 경우 녹용성장기에 성장지연의 문제가 발생하는 것으로 나타났다. 녹용생산성의 경우 영양수준과의 연관성이 낮은 것으로 나타났다. 방목초지의 사초생산성은 5월에 가장 높았고 8월 이후 급격히 감소하는 것으로 나타났으며, 산야초를 활용한 산지방목에 비해서 조단백질 함량이 높게 나타났다. 엘크 수사슴의 월별 적정 방목강도는 사초생산성이 높은 5~6월에 보충사료 급여수준에 따라 38~59 두/ha로 높게 나타났고, 7월 이후에는 13~32 두/ha로 낮게 나타났다. 또한, 보충사료 급여수준이 증가할수록 사초섭취량이 감소하여 방목강도가 높아지는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구의 결과로 엘크 수사슴의 방목 시 녹용성장기 성장지연을 예방하고 방목 시 안정적인 증체량을 유지하기 위해서는 보충사료를 체중의 1.5%이상 급여하는 것이 필요하다고 사료되며, 초지의 활용성을 향상시키기 위해서 사초 생산성을 고려하여 적정 방목강도의 조절이 필요한 것으로 판단된다. This study was conducted to investigate the effect of supplementary feeding levels on livestck and forage productivity and grazing intensity in Elk stags (Cervus canadensis). A fifteen 2-year-old Elk stags about 195 kg were randomly assigned to one of three dietary treatments (five animals per treatment). The dietary treatments consisted of a feeding concentrate of 1.0% of body weight (T1), 1.5% of body weight (T2) and 2.0% of body weight. Total dry matter intake (TDMI) was increased with increased with an increasing supplementary feeding levels. Average daily gain (ADG) were significantly increased with an increasing supplementary feeding levels (p<0.05) and reached a maximum on July and was lower in spring than autumn. The velvet antler production was no differences among treatment groups. Forage productivity of pasture and crude protein content were highest on May and decreased thereafter, however, crude fiber content was the reversed. The grazing intensity of Elk stags was increased in spring (38 to 59 head per ha) than summer and autumn (13 to 32 head per ha). The average grazing intensity of Elk stags ranged from 21 to 34 head per ha, which is affected by supplementary feeding levels. This result suggests that feeding supplementary diet at 1.5 % of body weight was needed to maintain the stable wight gain in antler growing periods and control the proper grazing intensity of Elk deer stags.
번식용 교잡 흑염소의 유지와 성장을 위한 대사에너지 요구량 추정

본 연구는 사양실험에 의한 회귀식 추정방법에 의해 교잡종(개량종) 번식용 암컷 흑염소의 육성기와 임신기 유지와 성장을 위한 에너지요구량을 구하기 위해 수행되었다. 번식용 암컷 흑염소 50두를 공시하여 사료의 대사에너지 수준을 육성기(5개월령)에는 각각 2.32(G1), 2.49(G2), 2.74(G3), 2.99(G4) 및 3.24(G5) Mcal/kg로 하여 2016년 5월부터 9월까지 진행하였으며, 임신기(9개월령 이후)에는 각각 2.32(P1), 2.43(P2), 2.55(P3), 2.66(P4) 및 2.78(P5) Mcal/kg로 하여 2017년 1월부터 4월까지 수행하였다. 실험사료는 염소용 TMR 사료를 이용하여 조단백질 수준을 14%로 고정시키고 에너지 첨가제(유락)를 이용하여 에너지 수준을 조절하였다. 건물 섭취량은 처리구 간에 육성기, 임신기 모두 유의성이 없었으며, 체중대비 1.5~2.0% 수준으로 조사되었다. 일당증체량은 육성기에는 46~69g, 임신기에는 150~190g으로 사료의 에너지수준이 증가함에 따라 높게 나타났으며, 사료요구율은 육성기 6.5~9.7의 범위로 에너지수준이 높을수록 사료요구율이 개선되는 경향을 나타내었다. 임신기의 경우 3.5~3.8의 범위로 에너지 수준에 따른 영향은 없는 것으로 나타났다. 대사 체중 당 에너지섭취량과 일당증체량 사이의 회귀분석을 통한 유지에너지 요구량 추정 시 육성기에는 $102.5Kcal/BW^{0.75}$이고, 임신기에는 $105.83Kcal/BW^{0.75}$로 나타났다. 급여 사료의 에너지 수준에 따른 번식성적은 에너지 수준이 높아질수록 분만율이 낮게 나타났으나 산자수와 생시체중의 경우 증가하는 경향을 보였다. 본 연구에서 도출된 결과는 향후 흑염소의 사양표준 설정을 위한 기초자료로 이용될 수 있을 것으로 사료되며, 앞으로 대사실험, 비교도축법 등 다양한 추정방법과 비교를 통해 정확도를 높이는 연구가 필요할 것으로 사료된다. This study was conducted to predict the energy requirements for maintenance and growth of female Korean black goats during their growth and pregnancy phases. Fifty female goats ($18.7{\pm}0.27kg$) in their growth phase with an average age of 5 months were stratified by weight and randomly assigned into 5 groups. They were fed 5 diets varying in metabolic energy (ME) [2.32 (G1), 2.49 (G2), 2.74 (G3), 2.99 (G4), and 3.24 (G5) Mcal/kg] until they were 9-month-old. After natural breeding, 50 female goats ($30.7{\pm}0.59kg$) were stratified by weight and randomly assigned into 5 groups. They were fed 5 diets varying in ME [2.32 (P1), 2.43 (P2), 2.55 (P3), 2.66 (P4), and 2.78 (P5) Mcal/kg]. The average feed intake ranged between 1.5 and 2.0% of the body weight (BW), and there was no significant difference between the treatment groups with goats in growth or pregnancy phases. Average daily gain (ADG) in diet demand during the growth phase increased with an increasing ME density and ranged from 46 to 69 g/d (p<0.01). Feed conversion ratio (FCR) improved with the ME density during the growth phase (p<0.01). The intercept of the regression equation between ME intake and ADG indicated that energy requirement for maintenance of goats during growth and pregnancy phases was $103.53kcal/BW^{0.75}$ and $102.7kcal/BW^{0.75}$, respectively. These results may serve as a basis for the establishment of goat feeding standards in Korea. Further studies are required to assess the nutrient requirement of goats using various methods for improving accuracy.
위성 기반 재분석 강수 자료를 이용한 한반도 격자형 확률강수량 산정

This study estimated the grid-type precipitation quantile for the Korean Peninsula using PERSIANN-CCS-CDR (Precipitation Estimation from Remotely Sensed Information using Artificial Neural Networks-Cloud Classification System-Climate Data Record), a satellite based re-analysis precipitation data. The period considered is a total of 38 years from 1983 to 2020. The spatial resolution of the data is 0.04° and the temporal resolution is 3 hours. For the probability distribution, the Gumbel distribution which is generally used for frequency analysis was used, and the probability weighted moment method was applied to estimate parameters. The duration ranged from 3 hours to 144 hours, and the return period from 2 years to 500 years was considered. The results were compared and reviewed with the estimated precipitation quantile using precipitation data from the Automated Synoptic Observing System (ASOS) weather station. As a result, the parameter estimates of the Gumbel distribution from the PERSIANN-CCS-CDR showed a similar pattern to the results of the ASOS as the duration increased, and the estimates of precipitation quantiles showed a rather large difference when the duration was short. However, when the duration was 18 h or longer, the difference decreased to less than about 20%. In addition, the difference between results of the South and North Korea was examined, it was confirmed that the location parameters among parameters of the Gumbel distribution was markedly different. As the duration increased, the precipitation quantile in North Korea was relatively smaller than those in South Korea, and it was 84% of that of South Korea for a duration of 3 h, and 70-75% of that of South Korea for a duration of 144 h.

Recently, the nano-PM 's number concentration emitted by diesel internal combustion engine has focused on attention because this particulate matters are suspected being hazardous of human health. In this study, The nano-PM mass and size of diesel passenger vehicles were measured on chassis dynamometer test bench. The particulate matters (PM) emissions of these vehicles were investigated by number concentration too. A condensation particle counter (CPC) system was applied to measure the particle number and size concentration of diesel exhaust particles at the end of dilution tunnel along the NEDC(ECE15+EUDC) and CVS-75 vehicle test mode. As the research result, the characteristic of vehicle test mode on the diesel nano-particle number and size distribution was investigated in this study.
가변성을 적용한 농촌주택 표준설계도의 계획 특성에 관한 연구

(Background and Purpose) The settlement environment of modern rural areas is changing rapidly as a result of the diversification of members and the accompanying change of their lifestyle. The requirements for living spaces are diversified with an increase of members who have diverse occupations and return to farms and rural areas. Various types of standard rural house designs are considered acceptable for current residents’ diverse situations. However, the range of possibilities for the selection of standard designs has widened. The aim of this study was to analyze the type, plan, and flexibility of rural houses and to analyze the flexibility applied to characteristics of standard rural house design in order to improve applicability and extended dissemination of future standard rural house designs. (Method) Initially, this study analyzed existing research on types of flexible living spaces. In particular, interior and exterior flexibility were analyzed, reflecting the architectural conditions of rural detached houses. Next, case studies of the present conditions of flexibility applied to standard rural house design were analyzed. This analysis suggested real, applicable flexibility methods for standard design. (Results)The results of this study are as follows. First, flexibility methods for standard rural house design were classified as “selective flexibility”or“changeable flexibility.” Selective flexibility is based on alternative flexible methods chosen in the planning period, and changeable flexibility changes a living space with alternative flexible methods in the use period. Second, the range of flexibility was classified as internal or external flexibility, and the form of flexibility was classified as expansibility, convertibility, or versatility. Third, flexibility methods that create large quantity and structural problems during construction preferably have selective flexibility in the planning period. Simple integration and separation of interior rooms is easy to do in the use period. Fourth, most recent standard designs have a flexibility method, but the simplicity of this method cannot satisfy users’ diverse situations. (Conclusions)Standard rural house design must have a diverse flexibility method for improvement of applicability. In particular, the previous methods, which are not currently in use, have to be considered, modified, and then imposed. The flexibility of standard rural house design providesa wider range of selection and change and will play an important role in the extended dissemination of future standard designs.

We study the gap effect on detonating high explosives using numerical simulation. The characteristic acoustic impedance theory is applied to understand the reflection and transmission phenomena associated with gap test of high explosives and solid propellants. A block of charge with embedded multiple gaps is detonated at one end to understand the ensuing detonation propagation through pores and non uniformity of the tested material. A high-order multimaterial simulation provides a meaningful insight into how material interface dynamics affect the ignition response of energetic materials under a shock loading.
바이오-에탄올연료 및 분사방식에 따른 엔진 나노입자 배출 특성

As an experiment investigation, the effects of ethanol blended gasoline fuel with different injection method on nano-sized particle emission characteristics were examined in a 0.5L spark-ignited single-cylinder engine with a compression ratio of 10. Because this engine nano-particles are currently attracting interest due to its adverse health effects and their impact on the environments. So a pure gasoline and an ethanol blended gasoline fuels, namely E85 fuel, used for this study. And, as a particle measuring instrument, a fast-response particle spectrometer (DMS 500) with heated sample line was used for continuous measurement of the particle size and number distribution in the size range of 5 to 1000㎚ (aerodynamic diameter). As this research results, we found that the effect of ethanol blending gasoline caused drastic decrease of nano-particle emissions when port fuel injection was used for making better air-fuel mixture than direct fuel injection. Also injection timing, specially direct fuel injection, could be a dominant factor in controlling the exhaust particle emissions.
