In this study, newly developed welding consumables for EGW were welded in EH 36 TM steel plates and their welded joints were evaluated in point of mechanical properties and microstructures compared with imported consumables. Newly developed welding consumables were evaluated as good arc stability and slag fluidity, substantially the same with imported products. The tensile strength of all welded joints were sufficient to meet the requirements specified in a ship’s classification(490~640MPa) and all areas of fracture were heat affected zone(HAZ). Charpy absorbed energy values of all EG welded metals were sufficient to meet the requirements of classification(min. 34J) and those of newly developed wires were evaluated to be better than those of imported wires. As a result observing microstructures of single and tandem EG welded metals through optical and scanning electron microscope (OM&SEM), no grain boundary ferrite(PF(G)) were created in a prior austenite grain boundary and a volume fraction of a fine acicular ferrite were observed very high.
외부기술이전 기업의 기술이전·사업화 전문기관의 활용이 기업의 기술성과 및 경영성과에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구 -기술이전·사업화 전문기관의 복합활용을 중심으로-

우리나라는 기술사업화 활성화를 위하여 기술이전·사업화 전문기관을 지속적으로 육성하고 있으며 다양한 형태로 구성되고 있다. 하지만 이러한 전문기관의 유형과 지원형태에 따른 성과에 대한 연구가 제한적으로 이루어지고 있다. 이에 본 연구는 기술이전·사업화 전문기관의 유형을 구분하여 복합활용성과와 기술을 수용한 기업의 성과를 측정하고자 한다. 이를 위하여 기업 외부기술 도입 및 활용을 추진한 380개기업을 대상으로 OLS 및 NBR 회귀분석 방법을 활용하여 가설검증을 실시하였다. 분석결과 기술이전·사업화 전문기관을 복합 활용 할수록 기업성과에 긍정적인 영향을 주고, 외부기술도입의 항목에 따라 기업성과에 상이한 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 산업성장단계가 초기일수록 산업이 안정화되는 영역의 기업성과가 높은 것으로 나타났다. 이를 통해 기업차원에서 기술이전·사업화 전문기관의 활용과 기업의 외부기술을 도입전략 시사점을 제시하였다. In order to commercialize technology, Korea is continuously fostering specialized institutions for technology transfer/commercialization, and it is composed in various forms. However, there are limited studies on corporate performance according to the type of technology transfer/commercialization specialized institution and the type of support. This study aims to measure the combined utilization performance and performance of companies that have adopted the technology by classifying the types of technology transfer/commercialization specialized institutions. To this end, a study was conducted on 380 companies that promoted the introduction and use of external technologies. As a result of the analysis, it was found that the more the combined use of technology transfer/commercialization specialized institutions has a positive effect on corporate performance, and has different effects on corporate performance depending on the items of external technology introduction. In addition, it was found that the earlier the industrial growth stage is, the higher the corporate performance. Through this study, implications of strategies for the use of specialized organizations for technology transfer and commercialization and introduction of external technologies of the company were presented at the corporate level.
포장과 저장온도가 '백다다기' 오이 선도에 미치는 영향

The evaluation of package temperature for fresh preservation of cucumber was investigated. The fresh cucumber is available in markets of Korea during whole seasons, for the help of farmer, distributor and consumer. Cucumbers were stored within cardboard boxes packaging covered with low density polyethylene (LDPE) at different temperatures (5, 10, 15 and 20℃). Changes in weight loss, hue angle, firmness, moisture content and general appearance (shape of cucumber) were investigated during storage of cucumbers. General appearance index with non-packaging decreased more than with LDPE film packaging at 5℃ and 10℃. During storage of cucumbers, general appearance index as freshness showed packaging effect at low temperature than room temperature. In the fresh weight loss, the packaged cucumbers were less reduced than that of the non-packaging ones. At color change, Hue angle of cucumber stored within low temperature with film packaging decreased gradually during storage. However remarkable change in hue angle were observed in cucumber within LDPE film packaging treatments of 15℃ and 20℃ storage. The effect of hue angle with packaging appears differently depending on the storage temperature conditions. The firmness and moisture content of cucumber flesh were not affected by packaging and storage temperature. In this experiment, cucumbers packaged with LDPE film at 5℃ and 10℃ were the most desirable for extending the quality. These results suggest that packaging of low temperature treatments in combination could be effective in prolonging the shelf life of cucumber.
패치형 웨어러블 심전도 측정 시스템을 위한 접착성 폴리우레탄 기반의 용량성 전극

Wearable medical device has been a resurgence of interest thanks to the development of technology and propagation of smart phone in recent years. Various types of wearable devices have been introduced and available in market. Capacitive coupled electrode which measures electrocardiogram over cloth is able to be applied wearable device. In previous approaches of capacitive electrode, they need proper pressure for stable contact of the electrode to body surface. However, wearable device that gives pressure on body surface is not suitable for long-term monitoring. In this study, we proposed adhesive polyurethane-based capacitive electrode for patch-type wearable electrocardiogram (ECG) monitoring device. Self-adhesive polyurethane make the electrode and whole system be adhered to the surface of skin without any pressure. The patch-type system is consisted of analog filter, analog-to-digital converter and wireless transmission module and designed to be attached on the body as a patch. To validate the feasibility of the developed system, we measured ECG signal in stable and active state and extracted heart rate. Therefore, we observed skin response after long-term attachment for biocompatibility of the adhesive polyurethane and adhesive strength of it. The result shows the possibility of applying the developed system for ECG monitoring in real-life.
$Fe^{++}$ 및 $H_2O_2$에 의한 hyaluronic acid 분해에 있어서 ascorbic acid의 역할

Hydroxyl raical$(OH{\cdot})$을 생성하는 것으로 알려진 iron-catalyzed Haber-Weiss rocation에서 superoxide anion $(O^{-}_{2}{\cdot})$은 주로 $Fe^{+++}$을 $Fe^{++}$로 환원시키는 데에 작용하는 것으로 추정하고 있다. 이러한 $OH{\cdot}$ 의 역할은 다른 환원제들에 의하여 대체가 가능할 것으로 추측되며 생물계의 환원제의 하나로써 ascorbate가 관심의 대상이 되고 있다. 이에 따라 본 연구에서는 $Fe^{++}$와 $H_2O_2$ 존재하에서 $OH{\cdot}$ 을 생성하는 ascorbate 의 역할을 hyaluronic acid의 변성과 methional로 부터 ethylene 생성에 대한 효과로써 관찰하였다. Ascorbate는 $Fe^{++}$와 $H_2O_2$에 의한 hyaluronic acid의 변성을 촉진하였으며, 이런 현상은 점성도 변화와 Sepharose 4B를 이용한 코로마토그라피에 의하여 확인할 수 있었다. 이때 관찰되는 변성은 catalase와 $OH{\cdot}$ scavenger에 의하여 거의 완전히 억제 되었다. 또한 ascorbate는 $Fe^{++}$와 $H_2O_2$에 의한 methional로 부터 ethylene생성을 항진시킴으로써 상기의 결과를 뒷받침 하였다. 다른 환원제들(cysteine, glutathione, NADH와 NADH와 NAKPH)도 ascorbate와 같이 hyaluronic acid의 변성과 methional로 부터 ethylene생성을 촉진하였으나, 그들의 산화형인 NAD와 NADP의 효과는 관찰 할 수 없었다. 그러므로 $OH{\cdot}$ 생성에 있어 철이온의 환원이 관여함을 시사하였다. 또한 metal ion가운데 $Fe^{++}$는 $OH{\cdot}$ 생성에 가장 강력한 촉매작용을 나타내었다. 이상의 결과는 ascorbate가 $(OH{\cdot})$ 을 생성하는 metal-catalyzed reaction에서 $Fe^{+++}$을 $Fe^{++}$로 환원하는 $O^{-}_{2}{\cdot}$의 작용을 대신할 수 있음을 증명하며 이와같은 ascorbate 의존적인 $OH{\cdot}$ 의 생성은 ascorbate가 조직손상에 관여할 가능성을 시사하였다. In tile Iron-catalyzed Haber-Weiss reaction to produce OH., the requirement for $O^{-}_{2}{\cdot}$ is only to reduce $Fe^{+++}$. Possibly, the role of $O^{-}_{2}{\cdot}$ can be replaced by other reducing agents. Ascorbate is one of them in biological system. In the present study, the ability of ascorbate to produce $OH{\cdot}$ in the presence of $Fe^{++}$ and $H_2O_2$ was investigated by observing the degradation of hyaluronic acid and ethylene production from methional. Ascorbate stimulated the degradation of hyaluronic by $Fe^{++}$ and $H_2O_2$. That was confirmed by both viscosity change and gel-permeation chromatographic analysis. The observed degradation was almost completely prevented by catalase and $OH{\cdot}$ scavengers. In support of the above results, ascorbate enhanced the prouction of ethylene from methional in the presence of $Fe^{++}$ and $H_2O_2$. Other reducing agents (cysteine, glutathione, NADH and NADPH) showed similar activities to ascorbate in the degradation of hyaluronic acid and ethylene production. But no stimulatory effects were observed with their oxidized forms such as NAD and NADP. Thus, it appears that reduction of the metal ion was needed for $OH{\cdot}$ production. Among the metal ions tested, $Fe^{++}$ showed most potent catalytic action in the production of $OH{\cdot}$ The results obtained support that ascorbate can substitute $O^{-}_{2}{\cdot}$ in the metal-catalyzed reactions, particularly with $Fe^{++}$ by which $OH{\cdot}$ is produced with $H_2O_2$. The significance of the ascorbate-dependent production of $OH{\cdot}$ was considered with respect to possible role of ascorbate in the damage of inflamed joints.
비접촉 눈 깜박임 측정 안경형 디바이스를 이용한 실시간 스펠러의 구현

We proposed blink based online speller for the locked-in syndrome (LIS) patients, paralyzed in nearly all voluntary muscles expect for the eyes, with a simple and easy-to-use eye blink detection glasses. Electrooculogram (EOG) is the golden standard method of eye movement or blink measurement with Ag/AgCl electrodes. However, this method has several drawbacks such as skin irritation and dehydration of conductive gel. To resolve the shortcomings, we used a blink detection system based on a transparent capacitively coupled electrode, which is conductive indium tin oxide (ITO) films. The films make it possible to measure eye blink without direct skin contact and obstruction of field of view. We finally developed user-friendly blink based online speller with the blink detection system. To classify voluntary and non-voluntary blink, we used the double blink for command of the speller. The online speller experiment result with six healthy subjects shows that mean accuracy is 98.96% and letter per minute (LPM) is 4.73, which are better result by comparison with conventional P300 or auditory brain-computer interface (BCI) paradigm. The result of the experiment demonstrates the possibility of applying the proposed system as a communication method for the LIS patients.
