Based upon three level approximation and the steepest descent path(SDP) method, we consider an optimum choice of approximation path for derivation of new class of closed-flrm Green's functions which can lead to the analytic evaluation of MoM(Method of Moment) matrix elements. It is observed that the present method can give more accurate evaluation of the spatial Green's functions than the previous method, even without the advance investigation of the spectral functions, over a wide frequency range. In order to check the validity of the present method, some numerical results are presented. 본 논문에저는 MoM 행렬 요소의 해석적 계산이 가능한 새로운 형태의 closed-form 그린함수 유도를 위한 최적의 근사화 경로 선택을 3-단계 근사화 방법 및 SDP(Steepest Descent Path) 방법을 고려하여 제시하였다. 본 논문의 방법으로 유도된 새로운 형태의 closed-form그린함수 계산 결과가 기존의 방법과 달리 파수 영역 그린함수의 사전조사 없이도 넓은 주파수 범위에서 보다 정확한 결과를 주고 있음을 알 수 있었다. 본 논문이 제안하는 방법의 타당성을 확인하기 위하여 몇 가지 수치 결과들을 제시하였다.

효소억제 반응에 의한 충남 논산지역의 유기인계 및 카바메이트계 농약의 잔류 농도 결정 및 주변 동물에 대한 독성 연구

현재 사용되는 농약 중 주로 살충제로 사용되는 유기인계 및 carbamate계 농약은 해충, 동물 및 인간의 신경 전달에 관계되는 효소인 acetylcholinesterase(AChE)와 반응하여 신경 효소의 작용을 억제시키게 된다. 따라서 이러한 작용은 주변 생태계는 물론 인간에게도 치명적인 해독을 입히게 된다. 충남 논산군 내의 물고기, 식수 및 농수를 채취하고 이들 내에 존재하는 살충제의 축적 정도를 측정하였다. 논산천의 지류를 따라 물고기들을 채취하고 이들 물고기 뇌의 AChE 활성도를 측정함으로써 농약 중독의 정도를 판단하였다. 상류에서 서식하는 피라미는 동일 하천의 중류 또는 하류의 것보다 높은 뇌의 AChE 활성도 값을 나타내어 농약의 중독 정도가 낮음을 나타내었다. 농약에 전혀 영향을 받지 않은 붕어는 논산 천에서 서식하는 붕어들보다 월등히 높은 뇌의 AChE 활성도를 나타내었다. 논 주변에 있는 우물에서 채취한 식수는 AChE 억제제가 존재하는 것으로 나타났는데, 이는 논에서 농약이 유입되어 온 것으로 생각된다. 살충제를 살포한 직후에 논에서 채취한 농수에서는 상당량의 AChE 억제제가 존재하는 것으로 밝혀졌다. 이러한 결과들은 식수 등의 물과 동물 내에 존재하는 살충제에 의한 오염 정도의 평가방법으로 AChE를 이용하는 것이 편리하고, 정확하며 신뢰성이 높다는 것을 알 수 있다. The effects of pesticides on fishes and water in the Nonsan County were investigated. Since organic phosphate and carbamate pesticides act as poisons by inhibiting the neurotransmitter modulating enzyme acetylcholinesterase(AChE) in the nervous system, poisoning of fishes was diagnosed by measuring brain AChE activity of fishes collected from the different places of Nonsan river. Fishes(Zaco Platypus) from upstream have higher brain AChE activities to show less exposure to pesticides than those from midstream or downstream. Fishes not exposed to pesticides, Carassius, have much higher brain AChE activity than those from Nonsan river. Drinking water from wells near the rice field showed the presence of AChE inhibitors, presumably by the leakage of pesticides from the rice field. Rice field water right after the application of pesticides showed significant inhibition of AChE activity. These results show that AChE assay is a convenient, sensitive, and reliable method for measuring pesticides pollution in certain areas.

Undifferentiated leiomyosarcomas were encountered in two dogs, and an ultrastructural study was carried out. The results of this study were summarized as follows; 1. The nuclei of mosts tumor cells showed bilobate appearance. 2. Most cells of the tumors had not a distinct basement membrane. 3. Most cells of the tumors had a degenerative rough endoplasmic reticulum. 4. Intercellular matrix contained some amounts of collagen. 5. Attachment areas between tumor cells were not apparent, but a few tight junction were clearly seen. 6. Myofibrils were present in bipolor end area.

A subacute toxicity study of cis-Malonato[(4R,5R)-4,5-bis(aminomethyl)-2-isopropyl-1,3-dioxolane]platinum(II)(SKI 2053R) was carried out to obtain information on its toxicological profiles, and to determine the maximum tolerated dose in beagle dogs. Four groups of beagle dogs (2M and 2F per group, 0,0.5,1.0,2.0mg/kg/day)were given 15 i.v. injections of SKI 2053R. In order to compare the toxic effects of SKI 2053R with those of cisplatin, one group was treated with cisplatin(0.7mg/kg/day)according to the same treatment schedule. The dosing schedule was divided into 3 courses of 5 consecutive days with 23-day dose-free intervals between each course. After completion of the treatments, remaining dogs were necropsied under established guidelines. Three of four dogs in the high dose group and one of four dogs in the middle dose group treated with SKI 2053R died of hypovolemic shock secondary to hemorrhagic and ulcerative enterocolitis. No toxicity-related mortality occurred in the low dose group of SKI 2053R. No survivor was observed in the group of cisplatin. Clinical signs including vomiting, diarrhea, anorexia and loss body weight were apparent in dogs given either cisplatin or high and middle doses of SKI 2053R. Severe thrombocytopenia and leukocytopenia were observed in the high dose group of SKI 2053R and cisplatin-treatment group, while toxicities as bone marrow suppression were reversible. The significant elevation of serum ALP values in group of SKI 2053R(2.0 mg/kg/day and 1.0mg/kg/day) and cisplatin(0.7mg/kg/day)was observed. Slight proteinuria waa observed in high and middle dose level groups of SKI 2053R. In histopathological examinations, pathological alterations of liver, kidney and spleen were noted dose-dependantly in dogs treated with SKI 2053R, and there was no overt sign of toxicity in low dose group of SKI 2053R. Compared to SKI 2053R, more severe durg-related toxicities occurred in dogs treated with cisplatin. It waw estimated that maximum tolerated dose of SKI 2053R in this treatment schedule was 0.5~0.7mg/kg/day. In conclusion, overall toxic potential of SKI 2053R was approximately 3 times lower than that of cisplatin with respect of lethality.

The purpose of this study was to search for a mixture of stevioside and sucrose, the sweetness of which in soft drink such as cocoa and ginger tea were almost equal the sweetness of commomly used 7% sucrose in the drinks. Results obtained by the present experiment were as fellows: 1) Mixture of 50% stevioside 40mg (0.04%) (A) and 2.0% sucrose, 95% stevioside 40mg (0.04%) (B) and 1.0% sucrose, and 50% and 95% stevioside 60mg (0.06%) (A,B) respectively, the sweetness of which in ginger tea corresponded to that of reference in the drink. 2) Mixture of 50% stevioside 40mg (0.04%) (A) and 2.0% sucrose, 95% stevioside 20mg (0.02%) (B) and 2.0% sucrose, and 50% stevioside 40-60mg (0.04-0.06%) (A) and 95% stevioside 40-60mg (0.04-0.05%) (B), the sweetness of which in cocoa is equal to that of standard sucrose in the drink. 3) The mixture contains low energe, and also the after-taste of stevioside was not detected in the above drinks.
