This thesis aims to find the correlation factors which influence to the self confidence or anxiety of middle school student in mathematics to reduce students anxiety and increase the confidence. The verification process was leaded by questionnaire for the middle school students to realize the purpose of the thesis and the result of the analysis showed that students who have showed lower confident feel higher anxiety on mathematics. Also the anxiety for test and attitude of teacher influenced to the confidence and anxiety on mathematics highly. So, the role of teacher was a major factor among many factors to release the anxiety on mathematics and give confidence for lower grade of middle school students. Among many elements of anxiety on mathematics, test anxiety was the first element to lose the confidence and parents and teacher may care for the student to reduce the test anxiety.

연극 활동 기반 소집단 언어치료가 요양병원 입원 치매 노인의 의사소통 능력에 미치는 효과

본 연구는 연극 활동 기반 소집단 언어치료가 치매 노인의 의사소통 능력에 미치는 영향에 대해 파악하고자 하였다. 이를 위하여 요양병원에 입원 중인 세 명의 치매 노인을 대상으로 연극 기반 소집단 언어치료를 실시하고 그 과정과 결과를 분석하였다. 치료 프로그램은 웜업, 체험 회상하기, 연극 활동 기반 심청전이야기하기로 구성하였으며 치료 전후에 나타난 참여 노인의 의사소통 변화 양상을 살펴보기 위해 웜업 활동 시의 자발화, 체험 회상하기 및 심청전 이야기 하기에서의 담화 능력을 C-unit, 총 낱말 수(NTW), 서로 다른 낱말 수 (NDW), 음절수 주제 적합도로 분석하였다. 연구 결과, 자발화 분석에서는 참여자들의 NTW와 NDW가 유의한 차이를 보였으나 담화 분석에서는 음절 수에서 유의한 차이가 나타났다. 이러한 결과는 연국 활동을 기반으로 한 치매 노인 대상 소집단언어치료가 의사소통 능력 향상에 효과가 있었음을 의미하며, 이는 소집단 언어치료와 연극치료의 접목 가능성을 시사한다. The purpose of this study was to verify effects of group language therapy based on theatre activities on communication abilities of nursing home patients with dementia. Three nursing home patients with dementia have participated to this theatre-based group language therapy. All of therapy processes were registered and analyzed. We have collected data of three types: spontaneous utterances in warm up, and narrative discourses in individual experience activities and in theatre activities. These data were analyzed by discourse elements such as C-unit, NTW, NDW, number of syllables, and topic maintenance. According to t-test result, in spontaneous utterances during warm up, NTW and NDW significantly increased after the therapy. In narrative discourses of two types` activities, the mean scores of C-unit, NTW, NDW, number of syllables increased, but these changes were not statistically significant except the number of syllables. These findings indicate that theatre based group language therapy can be useful for improving communication abilities of elderly persons with dementia.

감성적 소비와 이성적 소비: 소비태도와 소비행복의 비교

This study examined the effects of considered attributes when purchase on consumption attitudes and consumption happiness as well as compared the effects for sensible consumption and sentimental consumption. Data was collected from 373 consumers in 20s and 30s from November 15th to 20th in 2017. IBM SPSS 25.0 was used for basic statistical analyses and for paired t-tests, and lavaan 0.6-3 package and semTools package in R 3.3.3(2017- 03-06) was used for structural equation modeling. The results of this study are summarized as follows. First, there were almost no differences in product types between sentimental consumption and sensible consumption. Second, consumption attitudes toward sensible consumption were more positive than sensible consumption; however consumption happiness from sentimental consumption was higher than from sensible consumption. Third, considered attributes when making purchases were divided into subjective, objective, and symbolic with the effects of these attributes on consumption attitudes and consumption happiness analyzed by structural equation modeling. Regardless of sentimental or sensible consumption, objective selection attributes have a positive effect on consumption attitude, but subjective selection attributes have a positive effect on consumption happiness. This study implies that sentimental consumption has a positive value for contemporary consumers and that it should be counted as a feasible consumption activity to enhance consumption happiness.

결절홍반을 동반한 폐결핵환자에 나타난 Poncet병

Poncet`s disease is an aseptic polyarthritis developing in the presence of active Tuberculosis occurring elsewhere, and is not due to direct involvement of joints but to an immunological reaction to tuberculoprotein. We experienced a case of Poncet`s disease accompanying erythema nodosum in a 55-year-old female patient with pulmonary tuberculosis. She had multiple tender erythematous nodules on both lower limbs for 3 months and a cough and sputum from one month ago. She felt severe pain in both knees and ankles with swelling one week before admission. Her chest X-ray, computed tomography (CT) scan and positive sputum AFB stain results revealed that she had active pulmonary tuberculosis accompanying erythema nodosum and aseptic polyarthritis. Her arthritis and erythema nodosum were dramatically improved within four weeks after anti-tuberculosis therapy. We report a case of Poncet`s disease in pulmonary tuberculosis accompanying erythema nodosum.

X 입자의 분석

차모니움(cc, charmonium)에 대한 분석은 다양한 강입자들의 쿼크가둠(quark confinement)의 구조를 이해하는 중요한 발판이 된다. 이러한 분석과정에서 특이한 성질을 가진 X입자라 불리우는 입자들이 발견되었으며 이 X 입자들의 상태들을 쿼코늄(quarkonium) 모델을 통해 예측하는 것은 의미가 있다. 우리는 글루온 교환으로부터 유도된 스핀에 관한 힘들을 고려하여 차모니움의 질량 분포를 계산하였으며 가둠포텐셜(confining potential)은 선형쿨롱포텐셜을 사용하였다. 2016년 particle data group의 실험값과 선형 쿨롱포텐셜로 계산한 이론값으로부터 최소자승법을 통해 매개변수들을 결정하였다. The analysis of charmonium system motivated important steps to understand quantitatively the mechanism of quark confinement in various hadrons. During these analyzing processes new states with somewhat peculiar aspects of decaying patterns have been observed and named as X particles. It is valuable to check whether the established X particles can be explained by quarkonium model. We calculated the mass spectra of charmonium system by considering spin-dependent forces deduced from one gluon exchange diagrams. The confining potential form is taken to be linear plus Coulomb and the free parameters are determined by least squares method comparing the theoretical and the experimental values of the meson summary table published on 2016 by the particle data group.

The purpose of this study is to analyze online peer feedback provided during high school physics lab classes. A stage of online peer feedback was included, and thirteen high school students participated in the stage to provide online peer feedback on the experiment report written during a physics lab class. The students were asked to add a comment on the reports for feedback. Characteristics of online peer feedback have been analyzed, followed by analysis of responses of students who received feedback depending on addition of comments for feedback. Evaluation standards of experiment reports have been used to compare the reports between before and after receiving online peer feedback, and a survey has been conducted to examine students perceptions of online peer feedback. The results show that the most feedback was provided on the parts with unclear description, and most the comments included detailed and reasonable feedback criticizing the contents or suggesting more acceptable descriptions. Conclusively, online peer feedback has significantly increased student’s final marks of experiment reports at each stage, and students have found to positively perceive online peer feedback taken place during physics lab classes.

HL-60 세포의 Apoptosis에 대한 가미항백탕의 효과

Objectives: To investigate anti-leukemic effect of Gamihangbak-tang(Jiaweikangbai-tang) using human promyelocytic leukemic HL-60 cells. Methods : Cell viability was determined using MTT assay. Morphological change was observed under a fluorescence microscope through DAPI-Methol staining. DNA fragmentation was analyzed by agarose gel electrophoresis. Caspase activity was measured by using a fluorogenic caspase substrate. Cleavage f caspase-3, PARP and Bid, expression of Bcl-2 and Bax, release of cytochrome C, and activation of MAPKs (ERK, JNK, p38) were determined by Western blot analysis. Results : Gamihangbak-tang(Jiaweikangbai-tang) treated HL-60 cells increased time-dependently DNA fragments and apoptotic bodies. Activities of caspase-3, 8, 9 increased on 30min after Gamihangbak-tang(Jiaweikangbai-tang) treatment and greatly increased after 3h treatment. PARP cleavage also increased 89 kDa PARP fragment on 3hr after Gamihangbak-tang(Jiaweikangbai-tang) treatment. Expression of Bcl-2 and Bax in Gamihangbak-tang (Jiaweikangbai-tang) treated HL-60 cells was not changed, but caspase-8-dependent Bid cleavage was observed. Gamihangbak-tang(Jiaweikangbaitang) also induced cytochrome C release from mitochondria into the cytosol. Activation of ERK, p38, and JNK increased in apoptosis induced by Gamihangbak-tang(Jiaweikangbai-tang) in HL-60 cells, but only ERK activation was concerned in Gamihangbak-tang(Jiaweikangbai-tang)-induced apoptosis. Conclusions : Apoptosis induced by Gamihangbak-tang(Jiaweikangbai-tang) in HL-60 cells induce caspase-3 activation through Bid cleavage by caspase-8, caused cytochrome C release from mitochondria, and ERK activation

미백과 항산화에 미치는 백복령, 감초, 유백피 추출 혼합물의 영향

활성산소는 피부손상을 일으키는 지질, 단백질, DNA의 산화를 유발시킨다. 더욱이활성산소는 기미, 검버섯, 주근깨를 생성하는 멜라닌생성과정을 촉진시킨다. 수많은 생약재중에서, 백복령, 감초, 유백피는 각각 parchymic acid, glabridin 및 flavonoid 를 함유하고 있다고 보고되어 있다. 본 연구의 목적은 기능성 미백화장품을 개발하기 위하여 B16F1 세포에서 백복령, 감초, 유백피 혼합추출물(PGUE)의 항산화 및 미백효과를 조사하는 것이다. PGUE는 높은 환원력 뿐만 아니라 DPPH radical 및 지질과산화 억제효과를 나타내었다. 항산화효과 뿐만 아니라 PGUE는 양성대조군으로 사용된 arbutin과 비교하여 melanogenesis와 관련 있는 tyrosinase 효소활성을 크게 감소 시켰다. 더욱이 PGUE는 살아있는 melanome세포에서 melanin합성을 억제하였다. 또한 PGUE는 superoxide dismutase-1 (SOD-1)및 tyrosinase related protein-1 (TRP-1) 단백질 발현을 억제시킨다는 것이 발견되었다. 이러한 결과들은 PGUE가 피부에 대한 항산화효과 및 미백효과를 가지고 있다는 것을 나타내어, 기능성 미백화장품의 개발을 위한 유효한 성분으로 이용되어 질 수 있다는 것을 암시하고 있다. Reactive oxygen species (ROS) are known to lead to oxidation of lipids, proteins, and DNA and cause skin damage. Moreover, ROS promote melanogenesis, which causes melasma, age spots, and freckle. The main compounds of the herbal medicines Poria cocas, Glycyrrhiza uralensis, and Ulmus macrocarpa were reported to be parchymic acid, glabridin, and flavonoids, respectively. The aim of this study was to investigate the whitening and antioxidant effects of a mixture of P. cocas, G. uralensis, and U. macrocarpa extracts (PGUE) in B16F1 cells to develop whitening cosmetics. PGUE inhibited DPPH radicals and lipid peroxidation, in addition to high reduction power, compared with Glycyrrhiza uralensis ethylacetate extracts (GUEE). Furthermore, PGUE exhibited a protective effect against DNA oxidation induced by the hydroxyl radicals. In addition to its antioxidant activity, the inhibitory activity of PGUE against tyrosinase, which is associated with melanogenesis, was greater than that of arbutin used as a positive control. Moreover, PGUE exerted an inhibitory effect on melanin synthesis in live melanoma cells and reduced the expression levels of superoxide dismutase-1 (SOD-1) and tyrosinase related protein-1 (TRP-1). These results indicate that PGUE has skin whitening and antioxidant effects, suggesting that this mixture can be used as the main ingredient in the development of effective whitening cosmetics.
