행위자 네트워크 이론의 ‘번역’과 혜강의 운화(運化)가 소통의 개념에 주는 함의

이 연구는 기존에 일반적으로 인식해 온 소통의 개념에 대해 재고하고 이를 확대해 볼 여 지는 없는지를 검토해보고자 한 것이다. 우리 사회에서 여러 다양한 사회 문제의 원인이나 대 책으로 제시되는 소통의 부재나 강화는 구호로만 그치는 경우가 많았다. 우리 사회가 안고 있 는 여러 문제 중에서 소통이 중요하다면, 그 개념과 대상을 확대하여 소통이 실질적인 사회 문제의 원인과 대안이 되게 할 필요가 있다. 이 연구에서는 소통의 개념과 대상의 확대를 모 색해보기 위해 행위자 네트워크 이론(ANT)과 최한기의 기학을 검토했다. ANT는 인간뿐 만 아니라 사물, 자연, 네트워크를 행위자로 본다는 점에서, 혜강 최한기의 기학은 인간, 국 가, 우주를 운화라는 개념으로 일통하고 있다는 점에서 소통의 개념과 대상을 확대해 볼 수 있는 단초를 제공하는 것으로 보았다. ANT에 대해서는 기존연구 중에서 ‘번역’ 개념과 관련 된 부분을, 혜강의 기학에 대해서는 ‘운화’의 개념과 관련된 기존 문헌을 주로 검토해 보았다. ANT에서는 행위자 네트워크, 사회적 맥락, 블랙박스 같은 개념들이, 기학에서는 흐름의 관 점, 우주적 사고, 성찰의 필요성 같은 것들이 소통의 개념에 시사점을 주는 것으로 분석됐다. This study aims to review the concept of communication, and to consider the expandability of the concept. The deficiency or absence of communication as the problems of our society have not been cured by valid solutions. It is necessary to make the solutions capable of solving actual social problems and improving actual conditions by expanding the concept of communication. To seek the clues in making the concept comprehensive, this study reviewed ANT(Actor Network Theory) and Chi theory of Hyegang(a Korean philosopher in 19c). As the former regards not only human beings but things, nature, and networks as actors, and the latter looks through human beings, nation, and the universe in terms of ‘woonhwa’(adjusting harmony), they seem to provide the clues, and deserve to be reviewed. The ‘translation’ of ANT and “woonhwa’ of Chi theory are focused and discussed in this study. The result is that both such concepts as actor network, social context, and black box of ANT, and such viewpoints as flow perspective, universal thought, and self-reflectivity of Chi theory seem to have implications in the concept of communication.

Interactivity of digital media is different from that of old media in audience participatory activity and engagement. 'Fractal' is a concept that is used to explain self-organizing or similarly self-repetitive phenomena. This study is intended to explain interactivity of digital media by adopting 'fractal' concept. This fractal approach to interactivity of digital media result in showing another aspect of communication effect. Characteristics of interactivity of digital media have unintended or unexpected effect to users of digital media, that is evolution of mental perception or knowledge, or formation of community consciousness.

The purpose of this study is to show the benefits of using movies in Korean language teaching. Most Korean language learning textbooks lack authenticity. Consequently students often have difficulties communicating in the real world even though they may have good classroom ability. For this study the language in the Korean movie, The most beautiful week in my life, was surveyed. Many non-standard Korean pronunciations and dialects which students rarely if ever come across in the classroom or find in textbooks are found in this movie. The Korean language has diverse vocative and designative expressions which are dependent on discourse context or a speaker's attitude towards the listener. Movies show these diverse situations in realistic situations so they are suitable material for the learning and teaching of these kinds of expressions. Movies are also useful materials for the teaching of fillers, proverbs and idiomatic expressions because their use in movies reflects their use in real life situations

This study intends to find the connection between the performance of Korean quarantine of COVID-19 and Korean traditional thoughts. This study attributes the success of Korean quarantine to the traits of Korean thoughts to form the consciousness, emotion and attitude of citizens. Especially, this study focuses on the comprehensive or holistic traits of Korean thoughts. It contains ‘tong’ (通) which denies contradiction and opposition, and ‘chung’ (中) which poses at the pivot and fits the situation, and tries to enhance the livelihood free from pains and agonies. Information communication of COVID-19 in Korea was not helpful for the quarantine. It implies the necessity of information communication which help the citizens to form mental immunity for overcoming depression, fear, and so on, and to form holistic thinking. In conclusion, this study suggests comprehensive ethic which contains both ‘tong’ as compassion and solidarity and ‘chung’ as enlightenment of consciousness and mental pleasure. Comprehensive ethic contains the essence of Confucianism, Buddhism, and Taoism and facilitates communication among all beings. 이 연구는 한국의 코로나19 방역 성과의 의의를 한국 사상의 성격과 연관시켜 살펴보고, 어떤 연결 고리가 존재하는지 찾아보고자 한다. 한국에서 전개한 방역활동은 비교적 성공적이라는 평가를 받는데, 이 연구는 그 요인으로 시민 의식, 정서, 태도의 바탕이 되는 한국사상의 성격에서 그 단서를 찾아보고자 하는 것이다. 이 연구에서 특히 조명해보고자 하는 것은 한국사상이 갖는 회통적 특성이다. 한국사상의 회통성은 모순 대립을 지양하는 ‘통’과, 중심을 잡고 상황에 적중하는‘중’의 가치를 실현하면서, 일심으로 향상의 삶을 지향하는 성격으로 정리해 보았다. 코로나19 팬데믹 상황의 정보소통에 대해서는 K-방역의 성과에도 불구하고 언론의 보도는 팬데믹을 극복하는 데 별로 도움이 되지 못했고, 우울, 두려움을 넘어설 정신적 면역력과 종합적 사고에 도움이 될 정보 소통이 필요함을 확인했다. 한국사상의 회통성이 정보 소통에 주는 함의는 ‘통’의 가치로서의 공감과 연대, ‘중’의 가치로서의 의식의 각성과 즐거움이라고 정리하면서, 이들을 실현하는 데 도움이 될 회통의 윤리를 제안했다. 회통의 윤리는 유불선의 종지를 현대적으로 구현하는 윤리를 포함하면서 모든 존재의 소통을 원활하게 이루어지게 하는 것이라고 규정해 보았다.
