This study evaluated the compressive strength after making mortar with low cement composition for carbon-neutral steam curing to respond to climate change. Blast furnace slag, fly ash, and ultra-high powder fly ash were used as substitutes for cement. The cement substitute was used at 40% of the mass of cement, and after steam curing, the compressive strength was measured on the 1st, 3rd, 7th and 28th days of age. As a result of the experiment, at the age of 1 day, the mixture using only cement showed the highest strength, but from the 3rd day, the specimen using ultra-high powder showed a high strength development rate, followed by blast furnace slag and fly ash.

In RC structures, standard hook is the effective anchorage method of the main longitudinal tension reinforcement. But, the use of standard hook results in steel congestion, so that the fabrication of steels would be difficult.<br/> Headed reinforcement offers advantage in reducing the congestion of steels. The objective of this study is to investigate the shear behaviors of reinforced concrete deep beam with headed longitudinal reiniforcement. Ten deep beams are designed to study the anchorage capacity of headed reinforcement as well as the contribution of shear reinforcements and the effect of share span-to-overall depth ratio(a/h).<br/> From the tests, it was shown that headed reinforcement could replace standard 90-degree anchorage as the anchorage method. Based on the test, shear design formulas of ACI 318-99 and AIJ Code were evaluated. The ACI 318-99 Code is shown to be conservative, while the AIJ Code are unconservative.
순환굵은골재 치환율에 따른 콘크리트의 부착성능 평가에 관한 연구

This study investigated the effect of recycled coarse aggregate satisfied the MOCTs quality criterion on bonding stress in concrete. Main parameter considered included the substitution ratio of recycled aggregate, 0%, 10%, 20%, 30%, 40% and 50%. The test results indicated that the bonding stress of specimens used recycled aggregate by maximum 50% higher than plain concrete. From the test, when the substitution ratio of recycled coarse aggregate decreased about 10% in concrete compressive strength and bonding-stress, but the predicted bonding-stress by design code as ACI, CEB-FIP was conservative.

This study proposes a construction method reinforcing with hybrid mortar using Ethylene-Vinyl Acetate Copolymer (EVA) used as an environmentally friendly noise reduction material in Korea and other countries, POSS nano complex (Polyhedral OligomericSilses-quioxaneS) and wire mesh. The final form of destruction, performance against force, strength, malleability were evaluated based on the flexural compression, a calculation equation of the slab reinforced with wire mesh and composite mortar was analyzed by comparing the values of the experiment and the values of the calculation equation proposed by existing theses.

In this paper, long term deflection of RC beam with variable replacement ratio of recycled aggregate[RA] is investigated. 6 RC beam specimens are designed using concrete made of coarse aggregate[CA] of 25㎜ size, mix strength of 21㎫, slump of 120㎜ and air content of 5.0±1.5%. A few concrete blocks are made and used for long term loading. The loading and deflection instrumentation are conducted following the process codified in ACI 318-05 code. Test result shows that the deflection of specimens with RA replacement ratio 10%, 20% is low compared with normal specimen with natural CA but the specimen with RA replacement ratio 30%, 40%, 50% is higher than the normal specimen.
