360° 여행 비디오에 사용된 자막/나레이션과 이용자 반응

본 연구에서는 360도 여행 동영상 내의 자막과 나레이션 요소에 변화를 주었을 때 이용자들의 반응 차이를 관찰하였다. 이를 위해 거제도에서 가장 잘 알려진 7곳을 직접 방문하여 360도 카메라로 촬영하고 편집하여 기본 영상을 만들고, 영상관련 정보를 자막과 나레이션으로 추가할 수 있도록 하였다. 이후 피험자(N = 80)를 네 집단으로 나누어, 각각 기본 유형(360도 영상만 전달), 자막 유형(기본 유형+자막), 나레이션 유형(기본 유형+나레이션), 그리고 자막+나레이션 유형(기본 유형+자막+나레이션)에 무작위 배치하였다. 각 유형의 영상물을 시청한 이용자들의 프레즌스, 플로우, 지각된 침입성, 시각 피로도, 시청 만족도, 재시청 의도, 그리고 관광지 방문 의도를 측정하고 그룹 간 비교 분석하였다. 연구결과, 자막이나 나레이션이 첨가되는 경우 이용자들의 프레즌스나 플로우 체험을 방해하지 않으면서도 정보 만족도를 높이는 효과가 있었다. 그러나 이러한 효과가 영상 재시청 의도나 실험 중 간접 체험한 장소를 방문하고자 의도를 예측하지는 않았다. 본 연구 결과는 영상 이외의 요소들을 활용하여 추가 정보 전달을 원하는 실감 미디어 콘텐츠 제작자들에게 실질적인 도움이 될 것으로 기대된다. This study examines the perceptual responses to 360 degree visual contents with/without narrations and subtitles. The 5—minute long video clip contained the sceneries of seven most popular attractions of Geoje Island, South Korea. Four experimental conditions were created by adding and removing the two elements; ‘visual only,’ ‘visual + narration,’ ‘visual + caption,’ ‘visual + narration + caption.’ Results indicate that adding subtitles or narrations can help raise viewer satisfaction with the information quality of the visual contents without interfering the experience of presence or flow. Thus raised information satisfaction, however, did not predict the viewer intention to revisit the contents or visit the sites viewed during the experiment.
국내 초고층 주거건축 평면구성 원리의 변천에 관한 연구

Forty years after the very first apartments were built in Korea in the early 1960s, the Korean construction industry witnessed the construction of high-rise residential buildings of over 50 storeys in 2002. eventually leading to even higher residential buildings of over 300 meters in 2011. For structural performance, such high-rise residential buildings come in the form of towers, as opposed to the flat, plate-like forms of the conventional apartments that have been built in Korea for nearly half a century. Because of this dramatic change in the building form, one can expect the spatial layout of the inner spaces have changed accordingly. By comparatively analyzing the layouts of unit plans of high-rise residential buildings between Korea and America, we were able to find dramatic changes in the planning principles of Korean projects, where early projects adopted planning principles of the previous plate-like apartments, in comparison to the later projects that more or less resemble the American projects. To objectively determine whether a unit plan resembles another or not, we used quantitative methods that utilize Space Syntax and statistical analysis such as ANOVA.
LSTM 알고리즘을 활용한 전기 수요고객의 온라인 질문에 대한 토픽분류

In response to questions or complaints posted by customers on the company"s homepage, the response time is an important measure of customer satisfaction. However, the time it takes for a customer to receive an answer includes a time for the article to be selected by the person in charge of the reply, which limits the shortening. In this study, we developed a model in which a machine, not a person, reads the article, classifies the topic, and delivers it to each person in charge of the article. The article posted on the KEPCO homepage used in this study is a short sentence consisting of an average of 49 words. Due to the scarcity of multi-frequency words, it was found that there is a limit in securing a certain level of topic modeling accuracy in unsupervised machine learning like LDA. To overcome this, we labeled topics and let the machine conduct supervised learning. Although there are limitations in improving accuracy because there are articles containing more than two topics in one article, the classification accuracy is secured up to 84% by using LSTM and Baysian Optimization. The result of this study suggests that topic classification is possible for short-term customer questions in specific fields such as the electric power industry. In addition, it is expected that a model will be developed that can provide optimal reference answers for newly received questions when the topic-labeled questions and answers are fully accumulated.
