        지역 특1급 호텔의 다차원적 서비스편의성과 지각된 가치, 고객만족, 행동의도와의 관계에 대한 연구

        Attracting both tourists and consumers, hotels are an important part of the hospitality and tourism industry. In light of rapidly increasing operating costs and decreasing funding, Hotels have begun more market-oriented efforts to broaden their appeal and accessibility, thereby increasing awareness and visitation. These hotels compete broadly with other leisure activities for consumers` discretionary time. Here, a recently developed model of service convenience is used as the theoretical framework for our exploration of important hotel services and components of service convenience The purpose of this paper is to report on the development and nomological testing of a 15-item scale measuring the five dimensions of service convenience (decision, access, transaction, benefit, and post-benefit) as proposed by Berry, Seiders, and Grewal. Findings - Reliability and validity assessments provided evidence of the scale`s psychometric validity. Service convenience was found to be a significant predictor of customer satisfaction perceived value and behavior intention in the context of hotels.

        `99 하남 국제환경박람회의 경영·경제 타당성 결과에 관한 연구

        This paper is to evaluate the result of $quot;`99 Hanam International Environment Fair$quot; in its management and economical aspects with a view to establishing a basic format for enhancing the added value for the future events of its kind. The regional scope of this study covers the venue of $quot;`99 hanam International Environment Fair$quot; held at the Boat and Canoe Race Park located in Hanam City of Kyunggi Province and its neighborhood. The study was conducted focusing on the period the Fair took place, from 21 Sept. to 31 Oct. 1999 and a subsequent survey was performed from September to November 2000. The significance of $quot;`99 Hanam International Environment Fair$quot; was studied technically with reference to the management result like the financial balance, economy, and the influence to other industries in addition to the study of visitor preference. The study shows the event, as an environmental fair, did not have so much an economic effect as an educational effect in promoting the significance of the environment preservation. From the economic standpoint, the fair incurred financial deficit on the Hanam City for its disregard in taking into consideration every possible situations concerning the fair and its procedural problems in actually performing the fair. As a conclusion, the study suggests that the opinion of the residents should be heard for planning of similar events and the concrete and detailed preparations taking every situation into account should be made by event professionals.

        관광정보의 국제 경쟁력 강화방안

        Internet-based information infrastructure provides potential tourists with a variety of information on destination choice, its prior information, destination design, and so on. This reality increased the role of tourism information, and providing tourism related information through tourism homepage became very important in particular. Thus, tourism homepage played important role in tourism decision-making process by providing a variety of tourism information needed by users. The competitiveness of tourism information through tourism homepage became very important in the countries that the internet-based information infrastructure has been developed such as Korea. In this respect, the purpose of this paper was to suggest any alternatives of making tourism information more competitive in the view of users in competing countries. For this end, this study conducted surveys on the national and international level, and examined the quality of information (eg., wrong or true information) associated with existing tourism homepages.

        지방자치단체 관광홈페이지의 표준화에 관한 연구

        The purpose of the present study is to establish a standard model for English tourism home pages of major local governments in Korea. We study the system of assigning domain names, the status quo of the current tourism home pages in terms of their registration in main portal sites for information search and their degree of cognition among the general public, and examine specific subjects covered in the home pages. On the basis of this analysis, we propose a standard model of tourism home pages that supply foreign visitors with necessary information for tourism, which will also be easy to access and search relevant information for foreigners who are not familiar with Korean culture and language.

        인터넷상 호텔과 주요 지역정보를 중심으로 한 관광정보의 활성화 방안에 관한 연구

        The paper aims at tracking the current trends on the development of computer technologies with focus on tourism transactions through Internet in the field of international tourism industry. The samples for the study are made up of the local autonomous organizations and hotels both in Seoul and Pusan. The study is conducted through a direct survey of the homepages on the Internet. The findings show that as the cyber tourism transaction is on the increase in the international tourism, so is the Korean tourism cyber market. It further divulges the fact that there exist no proper cyber systems linking the local autonomous organizations to the hotels isn Seoul and Pusan. The study reveals that the Internet play a miniscule part in the reservations for the hotels. The active utilization of the Internet will invigorate the wide usage of credit cards and enhance the convenience of the customers. As a conclusion, it has been shown that for ASEM in 2000 and the World Cup in 2002 such specific measures as establishing homepages on the Internet for small hotels lower than the first class have to be taken to activate the exchange of tourism information through the Internet.

        외국관광객의 관광정보 활용방안에 관한 연구

        This paper is a comparative study on the current states of Korean and Japanese tourism information system and the direction of tourism policy through the comparison of white papers on tourism and information policies of the two countries. The supporting format of the server, the structure of homepage, the languages supplied for the home-page contents, and specific contents of main menu items have been compared with the materials taken from National Tourism Organizations of both countries. The study has shown the direction of the tourism information publicity, major objectives of the two countries, providing the guide line for future improvement. Along with the study, the current state of information publicity concerning the World Cup soccer tournament, which will be held jointly in the two countries in 2002 and regarded as a major national event in both countries, is surveyed with its focus on the publicity strategies through the Internet and the connection through the home-page with the local autonomous organizations of the regions where the game will take place. For this study the Internet home-pages of both countries concerning the event have been retrieved and carefully examined on several crucial aspects. As a result, the current states of tourism information system of the two countries have been differentiated from each other, and several problems have been identified with possible solutions suggested, with a view to improved tourism information system that facilitates foreign visitors` easy access to necessary and relevant information.

        연구논문 : 호텔기업 e-Learning의 품질 특성이 학습전이에 미치는 효과에 관한 연구

        기업이 인적 자원을 계발하기 위한 핵심방안 중 하나로 e-Learning을 통한 학습이 자리를 잡아가고 있다. 특히 생산과 소비가 동시에 이루어지는 호텔기업의 특성에서 관련 직무능력을 강화하기 위해 효율적인 교육방식으로서의 e-Learning의 핵심적인 요소가 무엇인지를 찾고자 시도하였고, 또한 호텔기업에서의 e-Leanring 유효성을 검증하고자, e-Learning의 품질적 특성과 지각된 유용성과 사용자 만족, 학습전이 간의 관계를 모형화를 통해서 이를 제시하고 검증하였다. 본 연구의 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, e-Learning의 품질 특성은 지각된 유용성에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 그러나 e-Learning의 시스템 품질 특성은 사용자 만족에는 유의한 영향을 미치지 못하는 것을 나타났는데, 이러한 현상은 사용자가 e-Learning을 외재적 동기로 사용함으로, 사용목적이 활동 그 자체에 있다기보다는 그 활동을 통해 다른 목적을 달성하거나 어떤 보상을 받기 위한 경우이기 때문이었다. 둘째, e-Learning 사용자의 지각된 유용성은 사용자 만족에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 지각된 유용성은 학습전이에 유의한 영향을 미쳤으나 사용자 만족은 학습전이에 유의한 영향을 미치지 못하였다. 본 연구의 시사점은 정보시스템 성공 모형에 기반을 둔 e-Learning 성공모형을 제시함으로 e-Learning의 품질과 유용성 및 만족, 그리고 학습 성과와의 연결성을 확인하고, 이를 통해 e-Learning이 단순한 교육훈련의 도구가 아닌 기업의 경영 성과에 영향을 미치는 전략적 도구로서의 역할을 수행할 수 있다는 시각의 출발점을 마련하였다. The recent development of IT, consolidation of communication and multimedia technology have brought enormous changes in many organizations. Recently, e-Learning has grown rapidly in hotel business training field as a learning method which is easily accessible for every employee to get the proper self-led learning and job drilling programs anytime anywhere. The objective of this study is to provide implications for success in the rapidly expanding e-Learning market by analyzing how the qualitative characteristic of e-Learning affect the usefulness perceived, user`s satisfaction and learning Transfer. For this purpose, we propose that the e-Learning success model should be evaluated based on theories related to information system success models. The results of this study show as follows. First, the qualitative characteristic of e-Learning had an effect on perceived usefulness but did not have an effect on users` satisfaction. Second, the perceived usefulness of e-Learning had an affect on user`s satisfaction. Third, the perceived usefulness of e-Learning and users` satisfaction had an affect on learning Transfer.
