자동계량 콘베어 설비에서의 중량센서 신호처리에 관한 연구

콘베어 계량대 위에서 이동간 계량은 A/D변환된 데이터의 신속하고 안정된 처리가 요구된다. 또한 중량의 측정은 다른 센서와 달리 여러 가지 고려요소가 많이 있다. 본 연구에서는 자동계량 콘베어 설비에서 보다 신속하고 안정된 계량데이타를 얻기 위한 신호처리 방법을 제안하다. 먼저 콘베어 계량대에서의 로드셀중량센서신호의 특성을 분석하고 시뮬레이션과 실측으로 고유진동주파수를 구하여 저역 통과필터를 설계하였으며, A/D변환 회로를 구성하여 A/D변환된 데이터의 안정화처리 알고리즘을 싱글칩 마이크로프로세서를 이용하여 구현하였다. 제안된 방법을 이용하여 실제 제작하여 실측해 본 결과 계량 속도와 A/D 변환의 안정성에서 만족스러운 결과를 얻었다.

In this study, a signal processing and related techniques for development of a weight measunng system using a digital loadcell which is able to satisfy the important properties of WIM (weighing-in-motion) system have been investigated. A fast and high accurate signal processing of the digital load cell sensor for weighing-in-motion sl-stem is presented A/D conversion system is constructed to realize a stable A/D conversion and signal processing algorithm using DSP and microprocessor A new technique for vibration and measuring speed of the system is also investigated. The proposed method was applied to the actual design and the experimental results showed good performance of the weighing speed and stability

A wearable electrodiagram(ECG) monitoring system is a widely used non-invasive diagnostic tool for ambulatory patients who may be at risk from latent life-threatening cardiac abnormalities. In this paper. we have a portable ECG monitoring system with conductive fiber characterized by the small-size and the low power consumption. The system consists of conductive fibers, one-chip microcontroller, ECG preprocessing circuit, and monitoring software to record and analyze in PC. ECG preprocessing circuit is made of pre-amplifier with gain of 10, band-pass filter with bandwidth of 0.5-120% and 2.5V offset circuit for A/D conversion. ECG signals obtained by sensor are corrupted by noises such as a baseline wandering, 60Hz power noise and interference noise by body movement. For cancellation of noises in signals obtained by conductive fiber, we used the wavelet decomposition of wavelet transforms in MATLAB toolbox.
Measurement and Estimation of Renal Size by Computed Tomography in Korean Children

Adequate organ growth is an important aspect of growth evaluation in children. Renal size is an important indicator of adequate renal growth; computed tomography (CT) can closely estimate actual kidney size. However, insufficient data are available on normal renal size as measured by CT. This study aimed to evaluate the relationships of anthropometric indices with renal length and volume measured by CT in Korean pediatric patients. Renal length and volume were measured using CT images in 272 pediatric patients (age < 18 years) without renal disease. Data for anthropometric indices—including height, weight, and body surface area (BSA)—were obtained using medical records. Using the equation for an ellipsoid, renal volume was calculated in cubic centimeters. Height showed greatest correlation with renal length on stepwise multiple linear regression analysis; BSA showed the strongest significant correlation with renal volume. The mean renal size for each age group and height group was determined; it showed a tendency to increase with age and height. This is the first Korean study to report the relationship between body indices and renal size measured by CT. These results can serve as normative standards for assessing adequate renal growth.
Load cell 중량센서의 FEM simulation

The FEM technique was applied to simulate the change of stress characteristics for various structural parameters and loading positions of the load cell. The output voltage of the load cell was then computed to compare with the manufactured load cell. The tendency of the stress variations of the load cell was well agreed with the basic formula of the single fixed. beam. Also, the stress characteristics according to the change of loading positions showed respective featured results as different structure. The calculated output voltages of the load cell were very close to those of the real manufactured ones.
산부식가공의치(酸腐植架工義齒)의 금속피착면(金屬被着面)에 관(關)한 연구(硏究)

The purpose of this study was to evaluate the tensile bond strengths of treated alloy surfaces for resin bonded retainers. For the experiment metal surfaces of 5 alloys were teated with sandblasting, Silicoating Rocatec, and cemented with Visio-Gem. All specimens divided into two groups. The group I specimens were treated with 24-hour immersion in $37^{\circ}C$ distilled water, and group II specimens were teated with 1500 thermo-cycles from $5^{\circ}C\;to\;55^{\circ}C$. The obtained results were as follows: 1. Bond strength values showed significantly different between sandblasting group and other groups after a 24-hour immersion in $37^{\circ}C$ distilled water(P<0.05). 2. All samples were fractured during thermo-cycles for sandblasting group, and bond strength values for Silicoating and Rocatec groups showed significantly different after 1500 thermo-cycles from $5^{\circ}C\;to\;55^{\circ}C$.

This paper describes a power interrupt tester which is highly suitable for microprocessor-based hardware test device for safety guarding systems. Single-chip microcontroller is employed to generate power interrupt signal, and the built-in software controls peripheral hardwares with many functions. The system uses the design concept of deverse redundancy and software algorithms as well as additional functions which is useful in practical use. Experimental results showed that the proposed system is effective enough to practical applications and can provide an good application tool for the electronic appliance manufacturer as a test device of hardware and software debugging.

If the tactile sense is introduced to engineering and industries, it may provide more realistic virtual tactile sensing to human and it is possible to develop product that satisfy various consumer's taste. This paper presents a compliance emulator system as a new concept of tactile reproduction simulator which uses magnetic levitation in order to minimize friction and emulates compliance only along the vertical direction. Compliance is one of the important mechanical properties of the object related to tactile sensing of the human. The implemented system equipped with an analog LVDT sensor for a position sensor and employs a PD control with gravity compensation to emulate the specified compliance. To compensate the limited range of the system, the method of attaching the spring with various magnitude of stiffness to the system is adopted and its preliminary test is performed to confirm the validity of the method.
