        Distribution of the Fairy Pitta (Pitta nympha) in the South Korea: A focus on protected areas

        국내 팔색조(Pitta nympha) 분포 현황을 알아보고자 전국 국립공원 등 보호지역 중심으로 총 19개 지역을 조사하였고, 전문가 네트워크를 통해 자료를 보강하였다. 전국 19개 지역을 조사한 결과 북한산, 지리산 등 내륙지역 7개 국립공원에서는 팔색조가 확인되지 않았고, 경남 거제, 남해, 해남, 장흥 고흥 등 남해안과 인접한 12개 지역에서 팔색조 서식이 확인되었다. 또한 전문가 네트워크를 통해 수집한 팔색조 출현 위치 정보 82건을 분석한 결과, 전국 8개 광역지자체 모두 팔색조 서식이 확인되었고, 내륙지역(26.8%)보다 해안지역(73.2%)에서 더 많이 출현하였다. 연구 결과를 종합해보면, 우리나라의 팔색조는 주로 제주도와 남해안 지역을 중심으로 많이 분포하며, 그 보다 적은 개체수가 내륙 지역에 넓게 분포하고 있는 것으로 나타났다. The present study investigated the current distribution of Fairy Pitta (Pitta nympha) in South Korea. A total of 19 study areas, including protected areas such as national and provincial parks in South Korea were surveyed, and additional data obtained from an expert network. According to the results, Fairy Pitta was absent in seven inland national parks, including Mt. Bukhan and Chiri parks. Fairy Pitta inhabited 12 areas near the southern coast of South Korea, including Geoje, Namhae, Haenam, Jangheung, Goheung, and Gyeongnam Province. The analysis results of 82 datasets obtained from experts with regard to the locations where Fairy Pitta have been spotted showed that the bird inhabits all the eight metropolitan regions in South Korea, and is more frequently spotted in coastal areas (73.2%) than in inland areas (26.8%). The findings demonstrate that Fairy Pitta is mainly distributed in Jeju Island and the southern coast of South Korea, and is distributed in inland areas at relatively lower numbers.

        국내에서 분리된 Canine parvovirus DNA의 제한효소 분석

        To elucidate the molecular genetical properties of the canine parvoviruses isolated from the diseased puppies in the regions of Kyunggi and Chungnam provinces, the replicative form (RF) DNA of four field isolates were compared with those of two attenuated vaccine strains and a reference strains of CPV by restriction endonuclease analysis (REA). REA by Hinf I showed that three CPV isolates except CPV-V15 had an identical banding pattern with two vaccine strains, one standard strain and feline panleukopenia virus (FPLV). In CPV-V15 strain the fourth fragment of DNA with 800 bp was deleted. REA by Bgl II and Pst I indicated that CPV-V15 and FPLV had a bigger second fragment than those of the other strains of CPV. Meanwhile REA by Bam HI revealed that all the field isolates and vaccine strains used in this experiment showed similar banding patterns.

        시간 지연을 갖는 페이딩 채널의 전력 지연 분포 특성 분석 및 활용

        Applying an appropriate received signal processing algorithm based on the channel characteristics is important to improve the receiver performance. Wireless channels in general exhibit various time-delay characteristics depending on their power delay profile. When the estimated channel power summation is used to determine the amount of time delay, a channel adaptive receiver structure can be implemented. In this paper, we derive a closed-form expression for the error probability of the channel classification when the estimated channel power summation is used to classify channel groups having different time delay characteristics, and present the performance gain utilizing multiple estimation results. 통신 수신기 구현에 있어 채널의 특성을 파악하여 그에 적합한 수신 신호 처리를 수행하는 것은 수신 성능 향상을 위해 매우 중요하다. 무선 채널은 전력 지연 분포(power delay profile)에 따라 다양한 시간 지연 특성을 가지며, 추정된 채널의 전력 합산을 통해 시간 지연 정도를 판별 시, 채널 적응적인 수신 구조 구현이 가능하다. 본 논문에서는 전력 지연 분포의 합산을 통해 시간 지연의 상대적인 크기에 따른 채널 군으로 분류하는 경우에 있어 채널 판별 오류 확률을 closed-form 수식으로 유도하고, 다수 번의 추정 결과를 누적하여 활용 시 얻어지는 성능 이득을 제시한다.

        관광지 교육을 위한 교육용 챗봇 큐레이터

        A chatbot is a responsive chatting program that can communicate with people through text or voice. 'Siri' and 'Bixby' installed in smartphones are also representative artificial intelligences that use the chatbot system. With the rapid development of chatbots, users in various fields have also begun to pay attention to the food service industry. As machine learning technology developed, it became possible to use more flexible conversations, and it soon expanded to the realm of education. Userㄴs interact through conversations with chatbots, and active interactions stimulate users' desires and at the same time have a positive effect on learning motivation. Recommendation system programs using chatbots not only recommend products according to users' preferences, but also provide various additional information. This study planned a program that combined the chatbot system and tourism service. The chatbot curator will develop into a form of inducing interest and curiosity to users through learning, and then facilitating the desire for tourism. The purpose of this study is to lay the foundation for a chatbot curator based on previous studies.

        텐서 보팅에 기반한 영상처리 및 응용

        본 논문에서는 영상처리 및 컴퓨터비전 분야에서 다양하게 응용되고 있는 텐서보팅(tensor voting)의 특징을 고찰하고자 한다. 일반적으로 텐서보팅은 점 (points), 곡선 성분 (curve elements), 그리고 표면 조각 성분 (surface patch elements)로 주어진 n-차원의 데이터들로부터 교차점 (junction), 곡선 (curve), 영역 (region), 그리고 표면 (surface)과 같은 구조 특징을 추론할 수 있다. 영상 및 장면에서 구조적 추론을 이용한 지각기반 그룹핑 (perceptual grouping) 방법들이 다양한 분야에서 연구되어 응용되고 있다. 텐서보링은 잡음에 강건한 특징을 제공하며 다양한 응용을 통하여 효율성을 보여주고 있다. In this paper, the characteristics of tensor voting, which are used extensively in image processing and computer vision, have been surveyed. In general, tensor voting can infer the structural features like junctions, curves, regions and surfaces from n-dimensional data given as points, curve elements or surface patch elements. Currently various perceptual grouping methods based on such structural inference are studied and are used for diverse applications on images or scenes. Tensor voting provides robustness to noises and demonstrates itself efficient in many applications.

        USN를 이용한 컨테이너 트레일러 위치추적 시스템

        This paper describes position tracking system of a container trailer approaching to a gantry crane for loading or unloading a container into or from a ship, respectively. Proposed position tracking system informs the trailer driver of right position to stop the car under a gantry crane. To measure the location of a trailer, we used Cricket Mote modules which adopted RF and ultrasound technology. We present an elaborate method to improve position errors occurring at sensing and calculate three dimensional position by triangulation along with how to reduce location tracking interval for real-time monitoring. The location information was transmitted to a Personal Digital Assistant (PDA) periodically through Bluetooth communication for guidance of the trailer driver. In indoor and outdoor tests, position errors were less than 3 cm and location tracking interval was 0.5 second on average. 이 논문은 선적 및 하역 작업을 위해 겐추리 크레인으로 들어오는 컨테이너 트레일러의 위치 추적 시스템에 대하여 기술한다. 위치 추적 시스템은 트레일러가 겐추리 크레인에 접근하였을 때 트레일러의 정지 지점을 운전자에게 알려준다. 위치 측정 센서는 RF 신호와 초음파 방식을 채택한 크리켓 mote 모듈을 사용하였다. 실시간 전송을 위해 위치 측정 주기를 단축하였으며 삼각측량 방법에 따른 3 차원 위치 계산식과 환경적 요인에 의한 거리 측정 오류 감소 방법을 제시하였다. 측정된 위치는 블루투스 통신을 통해 주기적으로 운전자 앞의 PDA (Personal Digital Assistant)에 전송된다. 실내외 테스트 결과 위치 오류는 3 cm 이내로 개선되었으며 위치 측정 표시 주기는 평균 0.5초였다.

        요양병원 간호사의 전문직 자아개념과 직무만족

        Purpose: The purpose of this study is to identify the relationship between professional self-concept and job satisfaction of nurses working in long-term care hospitals and to consider strategies to improve these factors. Methods: Data were collected using structured questionnaires given to 135 nurses working at six long-term care hospitals in C City. The data were analyzed with SPSS 23.0 by descriptive statistics, Cronbach's α, t-test, one-way ANOVA, a Scheffé test, and with Pearson's correlation coefficient. Results: The average score for professional self-concept was 2.78 points (out of 4 points), and the average score for job satisfaction was 3.11 points (out of 5 points). Significant differences were found for professional self-concept according to age, marriage status, total work experience, number of patients per nurse, and position, while job satisfaction showed significant differences depending on age and the number of patients in the ward. Professional self-concept and job satisfaction showed a significant positive correlation (r=.46, p<.001). Conclusion: In long-term care hospitals, it is necessary to provide education programs about nursing practice, communication, and leadership to enhance the professional self-concept of nurses. With regard to job satisfaction for nurses, it is imperative to improve the work environment of long-term care hospitals.
