This paper describes procedures to implement a real-time pitch analyzer using Matlab. Matlab is a multi-purpose signal-processing tool. Using this tool real-time analysis tool is implemented. To make it real-time we used data acquisition toolbox which comes with Matlab. Autocorrelation method was used as a basic algorithm. The resulting pitch informations are displayed in two different forms, i.e. instantaneous pitch plot and pitch track. V/UV decision is performed using zero crossing rate and energy informations based on 500 utterances.

There are many speech analysis tools available. Among them real-time analysis tool is very useful for interactive experiments. A real-time speech analysis tool was implemented using Matlab. Matlab is a very widely used general purpose signal processing tool. In general, its computational speed is relatively lower than that of the codes from conventional programming languages. Especially, real-time analysis including input of signal and output of the result was not possible in the past. However, due to the improvement of computing power of PCs and inclusion of real-time I/O toolboxes in Matlab, real-time analysis is now possible in some extent by Matlab only. In this experiment, we tried to implement a real-time speech analysis tool using Matlab. Pitch and spectral information is computed in real-time. From the result it is shown that such real-time applications can be implemented easily using Matlab.
애드혹 네트워크를 위한 DYMO 프로토콜 구현 및 적합성 검증

MANET routing protocols must support not only wireless networking without any relaying on network infrastructure, but also dynamic management of routing information caused by node mobility. Hence, they are one of important routing protocols for USN. Recently DYMO is regarded as a promising routing protocol for MANET because it is simple and easy to extend as well as it requires less networking load than others. In this paper, we design and implement DYMO routing protocol into various operation systems. Also, we develop a DYMO conformance test tool to evaluate our implementations. MANET 네트워크 모델을 위한 라우팅 기법은 네트워크 인프라를 요구하지 않는 무선 네트워크 기능, 이동성 지원, 그리고 동적인 라우팅 정보 관리 기능을 필요로 하며, 따라서 USN에 적용 가능한 라우팅 기법 중의 하나가 되고 있다. 제안된 MANET 라우팅 기법들 중에서는 DYMO 라우팅 프로토콜이 네트워크 부하가 작고 간단하며 확장성이 향상되어 표준화가 진행 중에 있다. 본 논문에서는 다양한 운영체제 환경에서 동작되도록 DYMO 라우팅 프로토콜을 설계 구현하였으며, 구현된 DYMO의 적합성을 검증하는 적합성 테스트 도구를 개발하여 구현 내용을 검증하였다.

While genetic alterations in head and neck cancer have long been documented, the appreciation of epigenetic changes is more recent. Epigenetics of head and neck cancer becomes an area of emerging research direction due to a growing understanding of specific epigenetic pathways and rapid development of detection technologies. Epigenetic changes alter expression of tumor suppressor genes without changes in DNA sequence. Epigenetic mechanisms such as DNA methylation, histone modification and alteration in genomic imprinting have been shown to silence key genes involved in cell proliferation, differentiation and genome integrity, and clearly have a central role in head and neck cancer. The pattern of hypermethylation in any individual tumor can now be accurately determined, which may find application in molecular staging. The study of epigenetic changes should provide a global view of gene profile in head and neck cancer, and epigenetic markers could be used for early detection, prognosis, and therapy of cancer patients.
