Purpose: This study aims to analyze the conversational functions of reflecting utterances of doctors during medical interviews. Methods: The data consists of doctor-patient conversations during 50 medical interviews which were recorded and transcribed. Each reflecting utterance of the doctors was assigned to an informational function according to its contribution in gathering important information. The empathic aspect was also taken into account. Results: As for the information dimension, 8 information accommodating functions were revealed: reflecting utterances were commonly a request for confirmation of some relevant information through selecting, supplementing, summarizing, disambiguating, paraphrasing, expanding, specifying, and completing the received information. A couple of functions such as expression of surprise, empathy, and personal concern were identified at the relational dimension. Conclusion: Because the doctor continuously attempts to obtain more information regarding the symptoms of the patient during the medical interview, the maximally efficient exchange of information must be the ultimate goal pursued in doctor-patient conversation. The frequent appearance of reflecting utterances can be explained from this perspective. It can be also suggested that the reflecting utterances could contribute to the management of interpersonal relationships as they give the impression of personal involvement.

The Impact Factors on Broadcasting Production Staff’s Burnout

The purpose of this research is to appreciate the state of broadcasting production staff’s job burnout (exhaustion, cynicism, reduced professional efficacy) and that of role stress (role overload, role conflict and role ambiguity), job insecurity as the environmental characteristics and self-efficacy as a individual characteristics. Ultimately, this research tries to identify the impacts of their role stress, unstable employment and self-efficacy on burnout. The survey was carried out for broadcasting companies. The number of total subjects is 343. The results of degree analysis about main variables are as follows: 1) role stress level is a little high. 2) job insecurity level is below middle. 3) self-efficacy level is above middle. 4) the overall level of burnout is below middle. According to the results of regression analysis, 1) role overload positively impacts on exhaustion and reduced professional efficacy. 2) role conflict positively impacts on cynicism and reduced professional efficacy. 3) role ambiguity positively impacts on all factors of burnout. 4) job insecurity partially and positively impacts on burnout. 5) self-efficacy negatively impacts on all factors of burnout. To decrease their burnout, the decrease of their role stress and the increase of self-efficacy are needed.

프로젝트 관리 소프트웨어 프리마베라(Primavera P6)의 자원 평준화 기능 향상 방안

The objective of resource leveling in project management is to guarantee stable resource usages by minimizing deviations in resource requirements. Resource leveling functions in well-known project management software include analysis of resource requirements and profile, adjustment of resource capacity, and resource-constrained project scheduling. However, the performance of resource leveling functions in Primavera P6, which has the largest users among commercial project management software, is not satisfactory in providing appropriate schedules in view of multi-objective optimizations. Considering the trade-off between the objectives of resource leveling and resource-constrained project scheduling, schedules belong to Pareto optimal need to be provided. Aiming at generating such schedules, this work exploits a Variable Neighborhood Search (VNS) algorithm to solve resource-constrained project scheduling problems. By reducing capacity of resource with the largest usage variation step by step, a number of schedules close to Pareto optimal is generated. In a case study, the performances of VNS and procedure of repetitive reduction of resource capacity are evaluated and compared with resource leveling functions in Primavera.

아라한은 불교 수행자들이 지향하는 최고의 단계인 아라한과에 이른 자에서 출발, 대승불교에 이르러 스스로 깨달음을 얻은 후타인을 그 길로 인도하는 역할을 하는 불제자로 의미가 확대된다. 『법주기』 등에서 나타난 아라한의 주된 역할은 미륵불이 출현할 때까지 석가불의 정법을 잘 지키고 보호하는 것이며, ‘정법수 호’와 ‘요익중생’이란 목적을 이루고자 성과 속이 공존하는 입체적 성격으로 구체화된다. 또한 십육, 십팔, 오백, 천육백나한 등 아라한 개념이 보통명사화 되면서 정법의 평준화와 그 접근 용이성을 상징한다. 나한신앙은 삼국시대에서 조선 시대를 거치며 위로는 국난 극복과 왕실 강건을, 아래로는 복덕과 추복 기원에 이르기까지 다양한 요구에 답하며 전개되어 간다. Arahats are disciples of Buddha who have achieved Enlightenment as the highest goal in early buddhism. And they are developed to stay in Samsara to defend Buddhist Teaching and help sentient beings get enlightened like them without entering Nirvana for their own interests. According to several sutras including Fazhuji(法住記) the major role of arahats are of protecting Buddhist Teaching of Śākyamuni Buddha to deliver to Maitreya Buddha. Arahats are described to have round character of secularity and sanctity as well to fulfill the purpose of protecting Buddhist Teaching and benefitting all sentient beings. And concept of Five-Hundred-Arahats is symbolized to be un-exceptionality and accessability to Buddhist Teaching. From the period of th Three nation to Chosun, arahats beliefs had developed to meet demands of overcoming national crisis and stabilizing royal family from upper class and the reward of good luck and virtue from lower class concurrently .

ICA기법을 이용한 실구조물의 모드특성 추정에 관한 연구

독립성분분석(ICA)은 미지의 신호원으로부터 측정된 신호를 분리하기 위한 비감독화 선형 변환법으로 알려져있다. 본 논문의 목표는 ICA기법에 기초한 응답기반 시스템 식별과 현장 구조물에 적용 가능성을 확인하는 것이다. 구조물에 태풍이 접근할 때 구조물의 상부에 설치된 3개의 가속도계로부터 가속도 응답을 직접적으로 측정된다. 측정된 가속도 응답은 구조물의 모드와 밀접히 관련되어 병진-비틀림이 연계되어 나타난다. 모드분리를 위한 성능지수로서 첨도를 최소화하기위해 ICA기법을 적용하여, 병진-비틀림이 연계된 모드 응답은 밀접하게 인접한 모드일지라도 정확하게 분리되고 변환행렬에 의해 자동적으로 모드 형상은 결정되어지는 것을 확인하였다. 본 연구 결과로부터 고유진동수와 같은 모드 특성은 힐버트 변환에서 얻은 각 모드의 시변 고유진동수의 누적 분포 함수로부터 추계학적으로 추정할 수 있다. 본 논문의 결과는 새롭게 제안된 기법이 기존의 응답기반 시스템 식별보다 구조물의 응답에 매우 강력하게 적용되는 것을 보여준다.
