This study aimed to discriminate the geographical origins of domestic and chinese Wolfiporia extensa. They were subjected to oxygen (45.32 to 48.07%), carbon (38.09 to 40.12%), hydrogen (6.05 to 6.78%), and nitrogen (0.16 to 0.23%). Antioxidant activity was examined by DPPH free radical scavenging activity. According to the results of the experiment, no significant differences were found between domestic (IC50, 7.25 mg/ml) and Chinese (IC50, 8.35 mg/ml) W. extensa. However, as determined by the inorganic mineral contents were significantly different between domestic and Chinese W. extensa. The amount of potassium in domestic and Chinese W. extensa was and 33.14 ± 17.27%, 47.60 ± 8.78%, respectively. The results of this study suggested that the analysis of inorganic components by ED-XRF should be useful for origin identification of W. extensa.

특성화고등학교에서 구성주의 학습환경 설계모형을 활용한 캐릭터 디자인 수업과정 연구

2015 개정 교육과정은 ‘미래 사회의 핵심 역량을 갖춘 창의·융합적인 인재 육성’이라는 비전을 제시하였다. 구성주의 학습환경 설계모형은 학습자에게 문제 해결을 위한 환경을 제공하고, 해결 과정을 통하여 판단능 력, 창의력과 지식 생성 능력을 육성하게 한다. 이에 본 연구는 구성주의 학습환경 설계모형을 활용하여 특성화고등학교 캐릭터 디자인수업과정을 설계함으로써 더욱 효과적인 수업방안을 모색하고자 하였다. 이를 위하여 구성주의 학습환경 설계모형과 캐릭터 디자인에 대하여 이론적으로 고찰하고, 설문조사를 통하 여 캐릭터 디자인교육의 현황을 조사 분석하였다. 이를 바탕으로 도입, 이론, 자료조사·분석, 콘셉트 설정, 기본형 캐릭터 제작 응용형 캐릭터 제작, 정리 및 평가의 6단계로 구성된 ‘구성주의 학습 환경 설계 모형 을 활용한 캐릭터 디자인 수업과정’을 개발하여 수업을 시행하였으며, 수업 후 효과검증을 위해 학생들을 대상으로 5점 척도로 설문조사를 진행하였다. 그 결과, 수업 난이도는 평균 3.48~3.72로 학생들에게 대체 로 무난한 수준이었다. 수업과정에 대한 단계별 수업 효과는 평균 4.20~4.66, 단계별 만족도는 평균 4.04 ∼4.56, 수업과정에 대한 전반적인 만족도는 평균 4.56으로 높은 효과성을 입증하였다. 2015 revised national curriculum suggested vision of “nurturing a creative and integrative learner with moral character by developing key competencies necessary in future society”. Constructivist Learning Environment model provides the learners with an environment for solving problems and fosters learner ability of judgment, creativity and knowledge generation through the solution process. In this study, the aim is to find effective teaching method through modeling character design course in specialized high school using constructivist learning environment. For this, theoretical study on constructivist learning environment and analysis of current character design education status through survey were done. On this basis, constructivisit learning environment model was developed which is constructed with seven steps : introduction, theory, analysis, concept explaining, basic character making, applied character making, and evaluating. After the course was done with the above model, 5 point scale survey was conducted on students for effectiveness verification. The average effect of each step was 4.20 to 4.66, the average satisfaction level was 4.04 to 4.56, and the overall satisfaction level of the course was 4.56 which verified high effectiveness of the course.

에탄올 복령추출물의 지방축적 억제활성, 항암활성 및 단회 경구 독성시험

In the present study, we compared the effects of 50% ethanolic extracts of Chinese and Korean Wolfiporia cocos (CPE and KPE) on in vitro lipid accumulation in 3T3-L1 cells and their anticancer activities in Sarcoma 180 cells. We further compared the anticancer activities and the 50% inhibitory concentrations (IC₅₀) of CPE with KPE with cultivated for one and two years in a landfill and a facility (LPE and FPE), respectively. In addition, the single oral dose toxicities of CPE and KPE were evaluated in mice. Lipid accumulation was inhibited after 48 hours, in CPE and KPE treated 3T3-L1 cells; however, no significant difference was observed between CPE and KPE in their lipid accumulation inhibitory activities. The anticancer activity of KPE was higher than that of CPE at 300 μg/mL (p<0.05), revealing the possibility of an auxiliary biological means for origin identification. The anticancer activities of LPE and FPE were significantly stronger than that of CPE (p<0.05) but there was no difference between extracts from one- and two-year-old W. cocos, irrespective of the cultivation method. In single oral dose toxicity tests, CPE and KPE did not induce mortality during the 14-day observation. Thus, the 50% of lethal dose (LD₅₀) of CPE and KPE were estimated to be higher than 2,000 mg/kg. Taken together, our results indicate that the anticancer assay could be an auxiliary means of identifying the origin of W. cocos. In addition, artificial cultivation could be an alternative way to reduce the import of W. cocos. Lastly, 50% ethanolic W. cocos extracts could be potential candidates for obesity and cancer managements.

Probiotic properties and adsorption of Enterococcus faecalis PSCT3-7 to vermiculite

The probiotic properties of Enterococcus (E.) faecalis PSCT3-7, a new strain isolated from the intestines of pigs fed dietary fiber containing 50% sawdust, were investigated. E. faecalis PSCT3-7 tolerated a pH range of 3 to 8 and 0.3% bile salts, and it inhibited the growth of Salmonella Typhimurium in a concentration-dependent manner. In addition, E. faecalis showed resistance to several antibacterial agents. Vermiculite, a nutrient and microbial carrier, increased the bile tolerance of the strain. Scanning electron microscope images revealed good adsorption of E. faecalis PSCT3-7 onto vermiculite. E. faecalis PSCT3-7 represents a potential probiotic candidate to administer with vermiculite to swine.

This study surveyed hotel employees who served for five-star hotels located in Seoul. The convenience sampling was used for the sampling method, and the questionnaire survey was conducted for about three months from October 2017 to December 2017. 318 questionnaire copies were used for data analysis. Data obtained from the collected questionnaires were subjected to reliability analysis and exploratory factor analysis, using SPSS 20.0, and to covariance structure analysis (SEM: structural equation modeling), using Amos 20.0 And the chi square (χ²) difference test was carried out for testing moderating effects. As a result of hypothesis testing, it was found that customer dysfunctional behavior perceived by hotel employees had significant negative (-) effects on job satisfaction, which shows that the more the customer dysfunctional behavior is perceived, the lower the job satisfaction becomes. Second, it was found that hotel employees’ job satisfaction had significant positive (+) effects on their customer orientation. Lastly, it was found that the effects of customer dysfunctional behavior perceived by hotel employees differed according to the degrees of their need for achievement, which shows the moderating effect of need for achievement. The theoretical implications of this study are significant in that it used as a moderating variable the need for achievement, which was hardly dealt with in studies on hotel employees in connection with the relationship between customer dysfunctional behavior and job satisfaction, and confirmed its moderating effect.
