      • 소(少) 제수용 잉여수계 제산 연산기 설계에 관한 연구

        잉여수계를 사용한 연산기는 디지털 신호처리, 컴퓨터 그래픽 등에 있어서 여러가지 장점을 갖으므로 전용 프로세서 설계에 사용되고 있다. 그러나 크기 비교와 일반적인 제산에 있어서 단점을 갖는다. 본 논문에서 제안된 연산기는 곱의 역을 사용한 제산의 결과가 나머지를 갖는다면 현재 제수에 의해 산출된 몫의 최대 값보다 큰 값이 발생되는 조건을 반복연산의 종결조건으로 사용하였으며, 몫의 비교를 대응된 제수 값으로 대신하였다. 그러므로, 설계된 연산기는 작은 크기의 제한된 제수를 사용하는 제한점은 갖지만, 컴퓨터 그래픽의 스케일링 등에 적용하는 경우 연산기의 크기 및 속도가 우수한 제산 연산기로 사용할 수 있다.

      • 그래픽 디스프레이에 적합한 Cosine, Sine함수 발생기 설계에 관한 연구

        Cosine and Sine function is widely used for the arithmetic, translation, object drawing, Simulation and etc. of Computer Graphics in Natural Science and Engineering. In general, Cordic Algorithm is effective method since it has relatively small size and simple architecture on trigonometric function generation. However profitably it has those merits, the problem of operation speed is occurred. In graphic display system, the operation result of object drawing is quantized and has the condition that is satisfied with rms error less than 1. So in this paper, the proposed generator is composed of partition operation at each ${\pi}/4$ and basic Cosine, Sine function generator in the range of $0{\sim}{\pi}/4$ using the lower order of Tayler's series in an acceptable error range, that enlarge the range of $0{\sim}2{\pi}$ according to a definition of the trigonometric function for the purpose of having a high speed Cosine, Sine function generation. And, division operator using code partition for divisor three is proposed, the proposed function generator has high speed operation, but it has the problems in the other application parts with accurate results, is need to increase the speed of the multiplication.

        우리나라 공동주택의 리모델링 활성화를 위한 제도 개선 방안

        1999년 현재 총 주택 재고 1천 백만 호 중 공동주택은 약 $57.5{\%}$를 차지하고 있다. 대부분의 공동주택은 공용부분에 대한 극히 부분적인 유지보수와 개별세대를 위주로 리모델링이 이루어지고 있어서 관리의 효율성이 낮고 사회경제적인 낭비를 초래하고 있다. 정부에서는 ‘주택건설촉진법'과 '공동주택관리령'을 제정하여 공동주택을 효과적으로 관리하기 위한 노력을 기울이고 있지만 운영상 많은 문제점이 나타나고 있다. 이러한 문제점을 해결하기 위하여, 이 논문은 문헌조사, 설문 및 면담조사를 바탕으로 우리나라의 공통주택관리방식, 금융$\cdot$세제상 지원, 특별수선충당금 적립, 자재품질 및 설계기준 그리고 리모델링 관련 법령 측면에서 공동주택의 리모델링을 활성화할 수 있는 방안을 제시하였다. In 1999, a residence stock amounts to 11 million units and apartment housing holds 57.6 percent of the residence stock. Without proper remodeling for apartment housing, a significant portion of them would be expected to be demolished shorter than their life-time due to socioeconomic reasons. Apartment housing is maintained depending on government regulations such as 'Housing Construction Promotion Code' and 'Apartment Housing Maintenance Ordinance'. However, there are many problems with implementation of them. In order to solve the problems, we focus on the remodeling system that includes Maintenance of Apartment Housing, Finance and Taxation, Special Repair Appropriation Budget, Resource Quality and Standard Plan, and Remodeling associated with the code. And this study, which being compared with the foreign remodeling system, presents the improvement scheme of system for apartment housing remodeling. This study aims to promote remodeling apartment housing and provide the suitable scheme for remodeling activities.

        초고속 무선 통신을 위한 저전력 모뎀 SoC 설계

        In this paper, we design a modem SoC (System on Chip) for low power consumption and high speed wireless communications. Among various schemes of high speed communications, an MB-OFDM (Multi Band-Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing) UWB (Ultra-Wide-Band) chip is designed. The MB-OFDM uses wide-band frequency to provide high speed data rate. Additionally, the system imposes no interference to other services. The 90nm CMOS (Complementary Metal-Oxide Semiconductor) technology is used for the SoC design. Especially, power management mode is implemented to reduce the power consumption.

        육미지황탕(六味地黃湯)이 Alloxan으로 유발(誘發)된 생쥐의 당뇨병성(糖尿病性) 신증(腎症)에 미치는 영향(影響)

        This study was done to investigate recovery effects of YJT, which has been used clinically in diabetes therapy. Mice were administerd Alloxan to induce diabetes. There body weight and kidney weight changes, BUN, creatinine, glucose, total protein and ALP activity in serum, urinalysis, excretion volume of Na+, K+ in urine were measured. The results were as follows: 1. Increase in body weight and kidney weight and the ratio of kidney to body weight of YJT treated group showed similar results with those of normal group. 2 The BUN, creatinine, ALP activity levels in serum of YJT treated group were similar with those of normal group. 3. The glucose level in serum of YJT treated group was better than that of control group 4. The result of the urinalysis in the group of YJT was almost same as that of control group The above results suggest that YJT partially improves the function of the kidney.

        학문분야간의 코뮤니케이션 유형

        This study attempts to verify the hypothesis that the interdisciplinary communication patterns may be different according to each disciplines. To put it concretely, it is intended to analyze and compare the subject distribution, the format, the age, the origin and the language of the documents of other disciplines cited in the journal articles according to each disciplines. To test the hypothesis philosophy, sociology and physics as the sample for the three disciplines, that is, humanities, social sciences, and natural sciences are sellected, and the documents cited in the journal articles published in 1966, 1971. 1976, 1981 and 1986 by the Korean Philosophical Association, the Korean Sociological Association and the Korean Physical Society are collected. And then the subject distribution, the format, the age, the origin, the language, and their use rate of the documents of other disciplines cited in the journal articles are investigated, analyzed and compared according to each disciplines. Some findings and conclusions made in the study are as follows. 1. The subject distribution of documents of other disciplines cited and its distribution ratio are different according to each disciplines, that is, humanities high, natural sciences low and social sciences medium. 2. The format and the use rate of documents of other disciplines cited are different according to each disciplines. In the three disciplines book and journal are more used than any format of documents in interdisciplinary communication while in case of the humanities and social sciences book is more used than journal, and in case of the natural sciences journal is more used than book in that communication. 3. The age and the use rate of the cited documents of other disciplines are different according to each disciplines. In case of the social sciences and natural sciences the documents of its last 20 years of publication are cited concentrately, and in case of the humanities the literature age is unconcerned. 4. The origin and the language of the cited documents of other disciplines, and its use rate are different according to each disciplines. In the humanities and natural sciences the documents published in foreign country are cited concentrately, and in the social sciences the home publication documents are more cited than the foreign. The documents of other disciplines in English language are most cited among the documents in any foreign languages in interdisciplinary communication. Putting the three disciplines in order of the use rate of the documents in English language, the natural sciences is high, the humanities medium, and the social sciences low. In the social sciences the use rate of the documents of other disciplines in Korean language is high while in the humanities and natural sciences slight.

      • 고속 그래픽 처리를 위한 잉여수계 승산기 설계에 관한 연구

        실시간 컴퓨터 그래픽 처리를 위하여는 고속 연산(승산 및 가산)회로가 필요하다. 잉여수 체계(RNS:Residue Number System)는 병렬성과 고속성을 갖는 정수연산체계이고, 또한 순환군(cyclic group)은 가산과 승산이 동형인 잉여수 연산을 수행하므로 고속의 승산기와 가산기의 설계가 가능하다. 그러므로, 본 논문에서는 DRNS(Double Residue Number System)를 제안하고, 순환부호(circula- tive code)를 이용한 고속의 잉여수 승산기를 설계하여, 이를 그래픽 프로세서의 연산기로 사용하고자 한다. 설계된 승산기는 TTL소자 74s09, 74s32를 사용한 경우 87MHz속도의 연산이 가능하다. To process computer graphics in real time, the high-speed operations(multiplier and adder) are needed to increase the speed of graphic process. RNS(Residue Number System) is integer number system that has the parallel and high-speed operation. Also, it is able to design both high-speed multiplier and adder, since a cyclic group has an isomorphic relation between multiplication and addition in RNS. So in this paper, DRNS(Double Residue Number System) is proposed, it is used for the multiplier and the adder, which are designed using a circulative code for the high-speed graphic processor in RNS. The designed multiplier would operate with the speed of 87Mzz two TTL using 74s09 and 74s32.

        Sex Differences in Gut Microbiota

        Humans carry numerous symbiotic microorganisms in their body, most of which are present in the gut. Although recent technological advances have produced extensive research data on gut microbiota, there are various confounding factors (e.g., diet, race, medications) to consider. Sex is one of the important variables affecting the gut microbiota, but the association has not yet been sufficiently investigated. Although the results are inconsistent, several animal and human studies have shown sex differences in gut microbiota. Herein, we review these studies to discuss the sex-dependent differences as well as the possible mechanisms involved.
