Recently, With the explosive increase in population and a rapid industry growth, we are confronted with serious water deficiency problem. In Korea, the demand of LNG, as a cheap and clean energy which does not cause an environmental pollution is in creasing every year. However, when it is serviced, a huge amount of cold energy accumulated in LNG is wasted. The goal of this study Is to develop a sea water freezing desalination for using LNG with wasted cold energy. So we have to establish a qualitative and quantitative data regarding the freezing behavior of sea water. In order to obtain this data, the freezing of sea water was performed experimentally around a cooled tube in a rectangular vessel.

In this study it is' reviewed how to induce thermo-dynamically and mathematically the heat transfer coefficient formulas studied & reported for small high-speed internal combustion engines mainly. And using these formulas it is ensure to fit the calculation value with obtained combustion pressure data through experiment from low speed large marine diesel engine. Also it is analyzed that the measured temperatures of cylinder head, liner and piston crown those of the heat transferred wall area in combustion chamber with load variation. Accordingly, the characteristic of heat transfer has been grasped by analyzing variously a heat loss through combustion chamber wall which influence on confidence & economical efficiency belongs to basic items for internal combustion engines.

An Altari radish pre-processing system, which feasible to process automatically such operations as leaf and root tail cutting and root peeling, for kimchi production was accomplished based on the foregone serial studies. In this study, the performances of the developed prototype machine, considered as a commercializing level, were analyzed and evaluated. The prototype machine attached Tiny PLC automatic control system was performed the sequent function as the rate of successful peeling was more than 98% for the Altari radish less than 70 mm diameter of a radish. The operating efficiency of this was 9 see/each, 128 kg/h, and it means as much as $5{\sim}6$ times that of a woman labor's. The sanitation and taste of the mechanized-processed Altari radish kimchi was almost same as that of the handmade. And they were suitable for manufactory of kimchi as the both short term ripening and storing kimchi. Developed machinery with one peeling device and two peeling devices that compared with hand processing, it was analyzed that the break-even yearly working days were 28 days and 19 days, and the break-even yearly processing amount were 28,700 kg, 32,400 kg, respectively.
톱밥재배용 표고 품종의 단핵균사체와 2핵균사체의 한천과 톱밥배지에서의 균사생장

표고 육종 소재를 개발하기 위하여 톱밥봉지재배용 품종의 2핵균사체와 단핵균사체를 한천배지와 톱밥배지에서 배양적 특성을 조사하였다. 품종은 산조 701호, 산조 705호, 참아람, 추제 2호를 사용하였다. 공시 표고 품종의 균사생장은 산조 705호를 제외한 품종 모두 PDA에서 가장 양호하였으나 산조 705호는 MCM에서의 균사 생장이 가장 양호하였다. 품종에 관계없이 표고 균사는 MEA에서 가장 안정적인 균사생장을 보였다. 톱밥배지에서 공시균주의 균사생장은 품종 간의 큰 차이는 보이지 않았으나 산조 701호와 705호보다 약 10%정도 빠르게 생장하는 것으로 나타났다. 산조701호와 참아람의 단핵균사체는 2핵 균사체보다 균사생장이 저조하였다. 2핵균사체는 참아람이 산조 701호보다 균사생장이 양호하였으나 단핵균사체는 전체적으로는 산조 701호가 참아람보다 균사생장이 양호하였다. 선발된 단핵 균사체는 균사생장이 매우 다양하고, 형성된 균총의 형태도 매우 다양하여 유전적으로 매우 다양한 단핵 균사체가 선발된 것으로 추정할 수 있고, 이들 단핵 균사체는 교배육종을 위한 좋은 육종 소재로 기대된다.
