The purpose of this study was to compare the dimensional stability, compression resistance, elastic recovery and surface hardness of elastomeric interocclusal recording materials. Five commonly used elastomeric interocclusal recording materials(Ramitec, Regisil, Blue-Mousse, Stat-Br, Coltoflax) were selected for this study. According to ADA specification No. 19, two types of specimen were fabricated. Cylinder type specimens were used to test compression resistance and elastic recovery and plate type specimens were used to evaluate dimensional stability and surface hardness. Paired t-test was applied to detect significance among the occlusal registration materials. The obtained results were as follows: 1. There were statistical difference in dimensional stability between the elastic interocclusal recording materials. The dimensional stability of silicone was higher than that of polyether tested(p<0.05). 2. Coltoflax was significantly less resistance to compression than the other elastic interocclusal recording materials(p<0.001). 3. The elastic recovery capacity of Blu-Mousse and Stat-Br is better than that of Coltoflax (p<0.01). 4. The surface hardness of Coltoflax was lower than that of Blu-Mousse and Stat-Br(p<0.05). 5. The percentage dimensional change of alll materials was acceptable according to the limid of 0.5% suggeted by ADA specificatin No. 19.
알루미나-유리 복합체용 글래스의 조성에서 $CeO_2$의 함량변화가 강도에 미치는 영향

Dental ceramics have good aesthetics, biocompatibility, low thermal conductivity, abrasion resistance, and color stability. However poor resistance to fracture and shrinkage during firing process have been limiting factors in their use, particularly in multiunit ceramic restorations. A new method for making all-ceramic crowns that have high strength and low processing shrinkage has been developed and is referred to as the Vita In-Ceram method. This study was performed to investigate the effect of $CeO_2$ addition in borosilicate glasses on the strength of alumina-glass composites. Porous alumina compacts were prepared by slip casting and sintered at $1,100^{\circ}C$ for 2 hours. Dense composites were made by infiltration of molten glass into partially sintered alumina at $1,140^{\circ}C$ for 4 hours. Specimens were polished sequentially from #800 to #2000 diamond disk. and the final surface finishing on the tensile side was received an additional polishing sequence through $1{\mu}m$ diamond paste. Biaxial flexure test was conducted by using ball-on-three-ball method at a crosshead speed of 0.5mm/min. To examine the microstructural aspect of crack propagation in the alumina-glass composites, Vickers-produced indentation crack was made on the tensile surface at a load of 98.0 N and dwell time of 15 sec, and the radial crack patterns were examined by an optical microscope and a scanning electron microscope. The results obtained were summarized as follows; 1. The porosity rates of partially sintered alumina decreased with the rising of firing temperature. 2. The maximum biaxial flexure strength of 423.5MPa in alumina-glass composites was obtained with an addition of 3 mol% $CeO_2$ in glass composition and strength values showed the aspect of decrease with the increase of $CeO_2$ content. 3 The biaxial flexure strength values of alumina-glass composites were decreased with rising the firing temperature. 4. Observation of the fracture surfaces of alumina-glass composites indicated that the enhancement of strength in alumina-glass composites was due to the frictional or geometrical inter-locking of rough fracture surfaces and ligamentary bridging by intact islands of materials left behind the fracture front.
동결속도제어에 의한 동결건조기 성능개선 및 동결건조품의 물리적 특성에 관한 연구

It is essential to establish optimum operating condition in order to decrease freeze drying time and energy cost on freez-drying process. In this study freezing point, thermal condutivity and permeability of vapour on freeze-drying process of coffee solution were measured. The results of abtained were summarized as follows: 1) thermal conductivity were not affected by freezing rate but were increased with increasing concentration of coffee solution 2) permeability of vapour was increased with decreasing freezing rate and concentration of coffee solution These result suggested that freezing temperature of freeze-drying material must be determined through measuring freezing point of material for the purpose of saving energy cost and ahortening freezing time 1) thermal conductivity depend on solids porosity and was not concerned with size and shape of pore 2) permiability decrease with lowering freezing temperature beacuse radius of freeze drying layer was smaller and permiability decrease with higher concentration because of porosity was decreased

As Persimmon is post-ripenning fruit, it is able to storaging in low temperature. In this studt, chemical and physical properties of Persimmons were measured during ripenning period to obtaine basic data for storaging and controlling post ripenning in low temperature. The results of obtained were summarized as follows : 1. Ilmoke showed higher in weight, Dangdo. vit. C. But water content was lower. As a results, It is not fitted to post-ripenning 2. Buyu and Jearae were lower in weight and Dangdo, but contents of water and vit.C were higher. Quality is able to enhanceing during cold storage and post-ripenning. 3. Sechon is the highest in Dangdo, and It is not fitted to cold storage and post-ripenning. In this study, consulsionly, Buyu and Jearae were fitted to cold storage and post-ripenning, and able to enhancing quality.
