This report consists of six cases with mitral valvular diseases who were operated on by open cardiac repairs under cardiopulmonary by-pass. The post operative results were excellent in four cases with normal exercise tolerance and fair or no symptomatic improvement noted in the remaining two cases, without operative mortality. As to the failure of symptomatic improvement following surgery in the latter two cases the main cause was considered as persistent tricuspid insufficiency which was not corrected even though the mitral valvular lesion was repaired successfully. Since the left atrial thrombosis is frequently associated with atrial fibrillation statistically in cases of mitral stenosis the closed method of mitral commissurotomy with pump stand-by is thought to be. desirable. In one case with the left atrial myxoma who brought some difficulty in the differential diagnosis of mitral stenosis or mitral insufficiency preoperatively the definite diagnosis could be made only by finger exploration an the table and the tumor was removed by open heart under cardiopulmonary bypass successfully with dramatic symptomatic improvement. We again impressed that whenever the signs and symptoms of mitral stenosis is bizarre and E.K.G. or cardiac catheterization findings are not well corelated with the clinical signs the possibility of diagnosis for left j atrial myxoma should always be ruled out.

L.Kohlberg 도덕교육론의 전ㆍ후기 관점 비교 : 'moral dilemma discussion approach' and 'just community approach'

Through this study I divided Kohlberg's moral education into early perspective(moral dilemma discussion approach) and later perspective(just community approach). And I examined what is each pespective's educational principles and what is major difference between them. Many existing studies mainly have discussed on the Kohlberg's early perspective, and relatively there are few research about his later perspective. As results of this study, I found that there are four methodological differences(① contents, ② methods, ③ relations between moral thinking and moral behavior, ④ roles of teacher) between early and later perspectives of Kohlberg's moral education. Besides these differences, each perspectives have different understandings about morality and aims of moral education. In spite of these facts, it is necessary to notice that Kohlberg's early and later perspectives, on the one hand, are not exclusive relations but mutual supplementary relations, on the other hand, represent different truths about phenomenon of morality.

한개의 연산증폭기에 의한 2차 대역통과 SCF의 구성

Recently, the demand of switched capacitor filter(SCF) has been increased as the circuits of currents communication equipment systems. But, the most of SCF has been built in complex circuits having many resistors, capacitors and switches. There are problems to reduce the cost and the number of elements, also to make the monolithic IC easily. In this paper, a design method of 2nd order Band Pass SCF using only one op-amplifier are presented. The equivalent monolithic IC of this SCF could be made simply and easily be-cause the circuits is built by only one op-amplifier, capacitors and switches. Also, it shows that frequency characteristic response of designed SCF by experiment were almost similar to the theoretical values.

The Transistor Reliability affects the Length of Life and Cost of Communication Equipement. In this paper, I wrote about the Reliability of Transisto used in the Microwave Multiplex Carrier Equipemens & Carrier Telephone Equipement during two years. It is defined as the Probability that indicates th eability of Transistor used under various conditions. As a result, The reliability of Transistor may be expressed by Failure Rate. On the ground of Observation of the Characteristic Variation, the Failure Rateand the Failure Cause, Its result was follows. 1) The Failure Rate of transistor by external point of view is showed more than internal. therefore, so as to reduce failure rate, It must be end-owed with the sufficient condition within the Area of Safe Operation of Transistor. 2) In case of the normal operating, the failure rate is approximately 0.002-0.1(%/1000hr), Moreover, the failure rate of transistor used , in electron computor and electron switch board must be reqired about 0.0001(%/1000hr). Finally, the oneopf the best methods which we can improve the reliability of transistor is the developement of the technique about the choicement of good transistor.

SC를 이용한 2중적분형 A/D 변환회로에 관한 고찰

Recently, the demand of A/D converter has been increased as an I/O of analog data communication systems and digital measuring instruments. But as the most of A/D converter was built in complex circuit having many resisters, capacitors and switches, there were problems to reduce the cost and the number of required elements. In this paper, the operation and conversion character of a dual-slope integrator A/D converter designed by using switched capacitor were studied analytically and its error voltages were studied experimentally. 1. The conversion of high accuracy with linearity could be realized since it was conformed that the experimental values of error voltages were less than 1/2 LSB. 2. This circuit would be convenient for MOS analog LSI since it was built only by the elements of IC and condenser. 3. This circuit should be suited for the digital counter of voltage and current because of its a good linearity.

대장 흑피증 5례의 임상 분석

대장 흑피증은 매우 드문 질환으로 anthraquinone 제제의 지속적인 복용과 관련되어 있다고 알려져 있는데 저자 등은 본원에서 대장 내시경을 통한 조직검사나 수술을 통해 확진된 대장 흑피증 환자 5명을 대상으로 그 임상적 특징을 관찰하고 문헌 고찰과 함께 보고하는 바이다. Melanosis coli is the brownish black pigmentation of the colon associated with prolonged ingestion of anthraquinone compounds as laxatives. This condition is so rare that a few cases have been reported in Korea and its pathophysiology has not been understood clearly Many studies have suggested that the brownish discoloration of the colon mucosa is due to accumulation of macrophage containing lipofuscin pigment. We report 5 cases of melanosis coli histologically confirmed by colonoscopic biopsy or by operation from January, 1992 to September, 1994 in this hospital with a review of the literature.

演算增幅器를 利用한 2次帶域 能動濾波器

In order to design the simple and economic Band-Pass Active filter, 2nd-order BPF using OP-amplifier were studied by their experiments. The results were obtained as follows. 1.2nd-order BPF Transfer function could be realized and the unity between calculated value and measured vague of the gain were comformed by experiments. 2.The transfer function of LPF and HPF could be realized by changing some elements of the BPF circuits. 3.The circuit was comparatively simple and the dumping characteristic of the frequency was good.

Toeye,s "Therapeutic Method without Medicine" can be regararded as fundamedal method of oriental medicine. It has three categories : natural therapy, spiritual therapy, and living therapy. First, natural therapy means the philosophy of man and natural as one unity by which human beings adjust themselves to nature, including nutritional diets. Second, spritural therapy implies one's own self realization and some techniques leading to today's "abdomen (commonly called Tan-Jeon) breathing." Third, living therapy is based on the principle that our own natural environment and food (commonly called Sin-To-Bul-Yi) are most suited to our body, practically concering all our lives in food, clothing and shelter. Therefore, Toegye Yi hwang's"Therapeutic Method without Medicine"(especilly his "17 Principles and 5 Secrets of Nutrition and Exercise Therapy") will serve as a good modern people to keep fit.

저감도 6차 대역통과 SCF의 실현

Recently, the demand of Band Pass SC Filter has been increased as the circuits of currents communication system. But as the most SCF has been built in the complex circuits having many resistors, capacitor and switches. There are problems to reduce the cost and the number of elements, also to realize low-sensitivity. In this paper, in order to design simple and economic 6th order Band Pass SC Filter using the SC integrators of operational amplifiers, all the inductances in the 6the LC Band Pass Filter network were replaced by switched-capacitor. And, SC BPF were studied analystically and its characteristics were considered. Also, their results show that the sensitivity and frequency characteristics of designed SC BPF were almost similar to that of the theoretical and experimental values.
