This report consists of six cases with mitral valvular diseases who were operated on by open cardiac repairs under cardiopulmonary by-pass. The post operative results were excellent in four cases with normal exercise tolerance and fair or no symptomatic improvement noted in the remaining two cases, without operative mortality. As to the failure of symptomatic improvement following surgery in the latter two cases the main cause was considered as persistent tricuspid insufficiency which was not corrected even though the mitral valvular lesion was repaired successfully. Since the left atrial thrombosis is frequently associated with atrial fibrillation statistically in cases of mitral stenosis the closed method of mitral commissurotomy with pump stand-by is thought to be. desirable. In one case with the left atrial myxoma who brought some difficulty in the differential diagnosis of mitral stenosis or mitral insufficiency preoperatively the definite diagnosis could be made only by finger exploration an the table and the tumor was removed by open heart under cardiopulmonary bypass successfully with dramatic symptomatic improvement. We again impressed that whenever the signs and symptoms of mitral stenosis is bizarre and E.K.G. or cardiac catheterization findings are not well corelated with the clinical signs the possibility of diagnosis for left j atrial myxoma should always be ruled out.

R&D협업 기관들의 공간적 분포와 지역 간 네트워크 분석 -정보통신, 바이오, 에너지 산업을 중심으로-

국가균형발전을 위한 지역혁신이 주목받아 왔다 그 이유는 지역 특화산업의 R&D역량을 향상시킴으로써 지역이 내생적으로 성장할 수 있기 때문이다. 그러나 지역혁신에 대한 지속적인 논의에도 불구하고, 실질적으로 지역에서 R&D협업이 어떻게 이루어지는지에 대한 실증적인 분석이 부족하다. 따라서 본 연구는 정보통신, 바이오, 에너지 산업을 중심으로 국가 R&D사업에 참여한 기관들이 어느 지역에 밀집해 있는지 분석하였다. 그리고 개별 기업들을 주소로 라벨링하여 어느 지역이 R&D협업 네트워크에서 높은 영향력을 갖는지 분석하였다. 분석결과 정보통신 R&D사업에 참여한 대부분의 기관들은 수도권에 밀집해 있었다. 네트워크 분석에서도 성남시와 강남구의 연결 중심도 값이 높게 나타났다. 바이오와 에너지 R&D사업은 수도권뿐만 아니라 충청권, 동남권에도 관련 기관들이 밀집해 있는 것으로 나타났으며, 네트워크 관계에서도 중요한 지역으로 나타났다. 하지만, 정보통신은 바이오, 에너지, 자동차 등 많은 산업에서 활용되는 기술이다. 따라서 지역혁신을 구축할 때, 지역 내부자원의 이용뿐만 아니라 지역 외부자원을 내부자원과 함께 어떻게 활용할 것인지에 대한전략이 필요하다.

공공도서관의 성과지표 개발에 관한 연구

오늘날과 같이 급변하는 환경에서 공공도서관은 다양한 변화에 대응하기 위해서 통합적 관점에서 성과를 측정할 필요가 있다. 그러나 대부분의 성과평가연구는 특정 영역과 특정 분석방법에 치중하고 있는 한계가 있다. 이에 도서관의 활동 영역(투입, 과정, 산출, 결과)을 평가할 수 있는 다면적인 성과지표의 개발이 필요하다. 현재 국제표준화기구와 IFLA는 BSC(균형성과지표)에 기초한 통합성과평가체제의 도입을 시도하고 있다. 이에 본 연구는 선행연구를 통해 도서관의 성과평가영역(투입, 과정, 산출, 결과)과 성과지표(투입지표, 산출지표, 결과지표)의 유형을 도출하고 국내·외 공공도서관 평가사례를 대상으로 평가영역과 성과지표의 유형을 비교·분석하였다. 비교·분석결과에 따라 국내․외 평가사례에 기초한 공공도서관의 통합적 성과지표를 제안하였다. 구체적으로 국제표준화기구 평가사례로부터 4개의 평가관점과 인력자원, 이용, 장서, 시설 등의 세부적 평가영역을 선정하였고 평가영역별 성과지표와 성과측정방법을 제안하였다. 마지막으로 제안된 평가영역과 성과지표에 대한 적합성 검증 방법을 제안하였다. Under rapidly changing circumstances, public libraries are required to evaluate the performance with an integrated point of view to cope with a variety of changes. In other words, it is necessary to develop integrated library performance appraisal indicators which are both quantitative and qualitative. Recently, ISO and IFLA attempt to adopt an integrated performance evaluation system based on the Balanced Scorecard(BSC). Therefore, this study defines four aspects of the library appraisal including input, process, output and outcome, and suggests a new library appraisal system and indicators of each appraisal aspect. In the concrete, appraisal aspects were derived from ISO appraisal system, and an appraisal system and indicators were presented based on the comparison and analysis of the ones respectively used inside and outside of Korea. Finally, this study proposes the method of suitability evaluation of those performance indicators by librarians and professors in Korea.

퍼지셋 질적비교분석을 이용한 우리나라 지역혁신의 유형 및 요인 분석

These days, regional innovation draws more attention than ever as a growth engine for regional economies, and governments put a variety of efforts to establish Regional Innovation systems(RISs). In this circumstance, this study aims to analyze types of RISs and the combinations of the factors influencing innovation performance as measured by patent application. Most of previous works have depended on case-oriented or variable-oriented strategy to classify types of RISs or to analyze the effects on performance of innovation factors, having some limitations: Variable-oriented approaches fail to capture complex combinatory effects of factors, while case-oriented approaches tend to depend on subjective interpretation. This study made use of the recently proposed fs/QCA(Fuzzy-set Qualitative Comparative Analysis) to overcome the limitations of those strategies. Based on the theory of RIS, three factors for regional innovation—input, infrastructure, and network—are used to classify 16 Korean Provinces. The results show that eight types of regional innovation types are identified, and that most of the regions are classified into either IN-type, equipped with high levels of Input and Network, or F-type, with high levels of infrastructure. In addition, applying seven sub-variables of the three factors to the fussy-set combination factor analysis, we examine a combination of factors influencing patent application. The results show that regions with high levels of R&D expense, valid patent, industry-academia cooperation, IP budget, and TLO values, and low IP capital almost always have a high level of patent application. Therefore, for regional innovation, the public sector needs to provide institutional support for R & D personnel training. It is also important to for both the public and the private sectors to make efforts to stimulate IP financing. 지역혁신은 지역경제 성장의 동력으로 주목을 받아 왔다. 이에 따라 정부는 지역혁신시스템을 수립하 기 위해 여러 노력을 기울이고 있다. 본 연구는 지역혁신시스템의 유형을 분류하고 지역혁신 성과인 특허출원에 미치는 필요조건과 충분조건을 살펴보는 것을 목적으로 한다. 대부분 기존 연구에서는 사례 중심 혹은 변수 중심 연구방법을 통해 지역혁신시스템의 유형을 분류하거나 지역혁신 효과를 분석하였다. 하지만 변수 중심 연구는 강 력한 전제 조건을 가정하며, 사례 중심 연구는 주관적 해석에 의존하는 한계를 노정한다. 본 연구는 최근에 주목 받는 fs/QCA를 활용하여 이러한 한계점을 극복하고자 했다. 지역혁신시스템 이론을 바탕으로 지역혁신의 요소를 투입, 인프라, 네트워크로 구성하고, 이를 통해 16개의 지방자치단체의 지역혁신 유형을 분류하였다. 그 결과 8가 지의 지역혁신 유형 중, 대부분의 지역이 높은 수준의 인프라를 갖춘 유형과 투입과 네트워크가 높은 유형으로 분 류되었다. 또한 3가지 요소는 7가지 하위 변수로 분류되는데, 이를 활용하여 지역혁신의 성과인 높은 특허출원의 필요조건과 충분조건을 분석하였다. 그 결과 연구개발 인력과 유효특허가 특허출원의 필요조건으로 나타났으며, 연구개발비, 유효특허, 협동연구, IP예산, TLO가 높고, IP금융이 낮은 원인 조합의 배열이 특허출원을 일으키는 충분조건으로 나타났다. 따라서 지역혁신을 위해서 공공부문은 연구개발인력 양성을 위한 교육 부문에서의 제도 적 지원이 필요하다. 또한 공공과 민간은 IP금융 활성화를 위한 노력도 중요하다.

대장 흑피증 5례의 임상 분석

대장 흑피증은 매우 드문 질환으로 anthraquinone 제제의 지속적인 복용과 관련되어 있다고 알려져 있는데 저자 등은 본원에서 대장 내시경을 통한 조직검사나 수술을 통해 확진된 대장 흑피증 환자 5명을 대상으로 그 임상적 특징을 관찰하고 문헌 고찰과 함께 보고하는 바이다. Melanosis coli is the brownish black pigmentation of the colon associated with prolonged ingestion of anthraquinone compounds as laxatives. This condition is so rare that a few cases have been reported in Korea and its pathophysiology has not been understood clearly Many studies have suggested that the brownish discoloration of the colon mucosa is due to accumulation of macrophage containing lipofuscin pigment. We report 5 cases of melanosis coli histologically confirmed by colonoscopic biopsy or by operation from January, 1992 to September, 1994 in this hospital with a review of the literature.

SC를 이용한 2중적분형 A/D 변환회로에 관한 고찰

Recently, the demand of A/D converter has been increased as an I/O of analog data communication systems and digital measuring instruments. But as the most of A/D converter was built in complex circuit having many resisters, capacitors and switches, there were problems to reduce the cost and the number of required elements. In this paper, the operation and conversion character of a dual-slope integrator A/D converter designed by using switched capacitor were studied analytically and its error voltages were studied experimentally. 1. The conversion of high accuracy with linearity could be realized since it was conformed that the experimental values of error voltages were less than 1/2 LSB. 2. This circuit would be convenient for MOS analog LSI since it was built only by the elements of IC and condenser. 3. This circuit should be suited for the digital counter of voltage and current because of its a good linearity.

演算增幅器를 利用한 2次帶域 能動濾波器

In order to design the simple and economic Band-Pass Active filter, 2nd-order BPF using OP-amplifier were studied by their experiments. The results were obtained as follows. 1.2nd-order BPF Transfer function could be realized and the unity between calculated value and measured vague of the gain were comformed by experiments. 2.The transfer function of LPF and HPF could be realized by changing some elements of the BPF circuits. 3.The circuit was comparatively simple and the dumping characteristic of the frequency was good.
