Revascularization is critical for successful ovarian tissue transplantation. Vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) and angiopoietin-2 (angpt-2) are the principal mediators of neovascularization. This study was designed to assess VEGF and angpt-2 levels in cryopreserved ovarian tissue after heterotopic autotransplantation.Ovarian tissues harvested from ICR mice at 5 to 6 weeks of age were stratified as follows: no cryopreservation (controls, group I); vitrification in VFS-40 (vitrification, group II); and gradual freezing in dimethyl sulfoxide (slow-freezing, group III). Frozen specimens were thawed at room temperature, assaying VEGF and angpt-2 levels 1 week after cryopreservation and 2 weeks after autotransplantation.VEGF and angpt-2 protein levels were significantly lower in cryopreserved ovaries of groups II and III than in controls (group I, P<0.05), whereas groups II and III did not differ significantly in this regard. After autotransplantation of cryopreserved ovarian tissue, VEGF and angpt-2 protein levels did not differ significantly by technique but tended to be lower than corresponding levels in controls.Expression of angiogenic factors in ovarian tissue is thought to vary by method of cryopreservation. Our findings indicate that levels of angiogenic factors expressed in cryopreserved ovarian tissue after autotransplantation do not differ appreciably from control levels, regardless of cryopreservation technique.

Non-volatile byte addressable memories in Engine Management Systems are becoming more common, and are increasingly used for user specific data that must not be lost. The NVRAM strategy how to keep and update the user-specific data need to be concerned in case of Heavy Duty and Medium Duty since many drivers can be changed on a vehicle. Existing NVRAM management system in Heavy duty/Medium duty do not include features that manage each pages according to each users. It means EMS could not save and update the user specific data. A-NVM has been designed to address these problems by providing software function in order to monitor and manage multiple users by memory page management. A-NVM uses a special user identification procedure by UDS to identify drivers, making it possible to periodically send the user identification message when driver identified by the display interface on vehicles. A-NVM will get the user specified message and do memory page loading by the identification from driver. It also checks integrity on every operation to ensure that the file system is consistent.

Background Hybridization and polyploidization events are important driving forces in plant evolution. Allopolyploids formed between diferent species can be naturally or artifcially created but often sufer from genetic instability and infertility in successive generations. xBrassicoraphanus is an intergeneric allopolyploid obtained from a cross between Brassica rapa and Raphanus sativus, providing a useful resource for genetic and genomic study in hybrid species. Objective The current study aims to understand the cause of hybrid sterility and pollen abnormality in diferent lines of synthetic xBrassicoraphanus from the cytogenetic perspective. Methods Alexander staining was used to assess the pollen viability. Cytogenetic analysis was employed to monitor meiotic chromosome behaviors in pollen mother cells (PMCs). Origins of parental chromosomes in xBrassicoraphanus meiocytes were determined by genome in situ hybridization analysis. Results The xBrassicoraphanus lines BB#4 and BB#6 showed high rates of seed abortion and pollen deformation. Abnormal chromosome behaviors were observed in their PMCs, frequently forming univalents and inter-chromosomal bridges during meiosis. A positive correlation also exists between meiotic defects and the formation of micronuclei, which is conceivably responsible for unbalanced gamete production and pollen sterility. Conclusion These results suggest that unequal segregation of meiotic chromosomes, due in part to non-homologous interactions, is responsible for micronuclei and unbalanced gamete formation, eventually leading to pollen degeneration and inferior fertility in unstable xBrassicoraphanus lines.
