To investigate removal effects of nutrients in stormwater runoff by soil of riparian protection zone, soil column experiment was conducted for 20 months. Artificial stormwater runoff containing phosphate and nitrate was applied on the surface of soil column twice a week, and phosphate and nitrate concentrations were measured from the leached water. Soil of riparian protection zone reduced the released amount of infiltrated water to the surrounding water. After infiltration of 1m depth of soil column, average removal rates of phosphate and nitrate were 97.7% and 74.7%, respectively. As main mechanisms of phosphate are adsorption to soil particle and utilization by plants, periodical replacement of soil and harvesting of plant at the end of growing season are required. For the removal of nutrients in stormwater runoff by the soil layer, soil of riparian protection zone has higher hydraulic conductivity to infiltrate stormwater. Sandy soil having hydraulic conductivity of about 1?0^(-2)㎝/s range might be appropriate for this purpose.

In this study, physical composition analysis was conducted on household waste collected from the storage pit of the household waste incinerator once a month (36 times in total) for three years. The main results obtained from the survey results are as follows. According to a survey of the physical properties of household waste, vinyl/plastic was the highest at 30.2%, followed by food at 26.5%, paper at 14.1%, and fiber at 9.3%. The annual difference in food and plastics is attributed to an increase in food composition ratio and a relatively decrease in plastic composition ratio in 2021, which is presumed to be due to less eating out and ordering delivery food at home due to the COVID-19 situation. Since food waste is separately discharged and recyclable waste is also separated, it can be seen that the variation of major wastes in the household wastes subject to incineration is not large by season. The average weight of one discarded mask was 5.97±0.94 g. The weight ratio of incineration standard garbage bags among household wastes was 1.33±0.46%. The low calorific value estimated by the average physical composition was 3,762kcal/kg, showing a result almost similar to the low calorific value of waste generated in the household part of the fifth waste statistical survey.
환경시료 측정에서 분석자의 숙련도가 분석결과에 미치는 영향

본 연구는 인산염 인 농도 측정과 관련하여 숙련도에 의해서 정도관리의 지표가 어떻게 개선되는지를 조사하였다. 아울러 분석기기의 종류에 따른 측정값의 차이가 있는지 함께 비교하였다. 분석자의 숙련도가 분석결과에 미치는 영향을 알아보기 위해 3인의 실험자가 2종의 분석기기를 사용하여 수질오염공정시험기준에 따라 인산염인을 7회에 걸쳐서 방법검출한계와 정량한계를 측정하였으며, 실험결과 5회 이상 반복실험하면 정도관리지표를 만족하였다. 인산염 인의 정량한계는 0.02 mg/L로 계산되었으며, 분석기기가 다른 경우 정량한계 부근의 시료에 대한 흡광도와 농도가 통계적으로 유의미하게 차이가 있음을 확인하였다. This study investigated how the indicators of quality control are improved by proficiency in the measurement of phosphate concentration. In addition, analysis equipments were to be compared to see if there were any differences in measurements depending on the type of analysis device. In order to find out the effect of the proficiency of the analyst on the analysis results, three analysts measured phosphate concentration seven times in accordance with the Korean water pollution test standards, and met the quality control indices if repeated more than five times. The limit of quantification for phosphate was calculated at 0.02 mg/L. If the analysis devices are different, the absorbance and concentration of the samples near the limit of quantification are statistically significant difference.

본 연구는 하수슬러지 소각재에 비교적 높은 함량으로 존재하는 인을 회수하기 위한 국내외 사례를 조사한문헌연구로서 습식방법 및 열화학적 방법에 의한 인의 회수 및 중금속 제거와 관련한 실험조건과 영향인자 등을논의하였다. 하수슬러지 소각재의 인 회수 기술 상용화를 위해서는 인 회수과정에서 발생되는 폐수, 잔재물의처분, 첨가 약품과 에너지 소모의 최소화 등 전체 시스템의 경제성 측면에서 소각시설과 연계한 집적처리공정이바람직할 것으로 판단된다. This study is a literature review on the recovering phosphorus from Incinerated Sewage Sludge Ash(ISSA), which has relatively high content of phosphorus. Experimental conditions and influencing factors related to the recovery of P and removal of heavy metals by wet and thermochemical methods were discussed. For the practical application of the recovery of P from ISSA, an integrated process linked to incineration facilities is required in terms of economy from the perspective of the entire system including disposal of wastewater and residues generated during the recovery process, and minimizing added chemicals and energy consumption.
