      • 내향성 발톱 교정에 관한 사례 고찰 연구

        본 연구는 ‘내향성 발톱 교정에 관한 사례 고찰 연구’로서 보다 효과적인 내향성 발톱 교정 방안을 제안하고자 함에 있다. 고찰하여 분석한 결과 배민규, 윤천성(2022)은 내향성 발톱 예방 및 개선⋅교정을 목적으로 활용한 레진 젤(크랄레젤)을 활용한 내향성 발톱 교정 방법이 제품 활용 편리성, 문제점 등에서 다른 연구자들의 연구방법에 따른 문제점 등과 비교했을 때 활용 가치가 있을 것으로 판단했다. 다만 기존 다른 연구자들의 아크릴 스캅춰, Brace System, 실크, 와이어 등 제품들에 비해 교정 효과가 비교적 낮아 김경환(2022) 연구자가 내향성 발톱 교정 효과성 검증을 위해 활용했던 견인기를 함께 활용하기를 제안한다. 내향성 발톱 예방 및 재발 방지를 목적으로 배민규, 윤천성(2022) 연구자가 제안한 크랄레젤 리커버 1회 적용을 제안하고, 내향성 발톱 개선 및 교정을 목적으로 김경환(2022) 연구자가 활용한 견인기를 활용하여 발톱을 펴준 후, 배민규, 윤천성(2022) 연구자가 제안한 크랄레젤 리커버를 목적에 맞게 2~5회 적용하여 활용하기를 제안한다. 본 연구 자료가 내향성 발톱 질환으로부터 건강한 삶을 영위하기 위한 자료로 활용될 수 있기를 기대해 본다. As “a case study on the correction of ingrowing nail”, this study aims to suggest more effective measures for the correction of ingrowing nail. In the results of considering and analyzing it, the correction of ingrowing nail using the Resin Gel(Kralle Gel) which was used by researchers Min-Gyu Bae & Chun-Sung Youn(2022) for the purpose of preventing, improving, and correcting the ingrowing nail, seemed to be more useful than other methods used by other researchers in the aspect of convenience of product use and problem. However, compared to the products like Acrylic Sculpture, Brace System, Silk, and Wire used by other researchers, the effect on correction was relatively lower, so it is proposed to be used together with the Retractor that was used by Kyeong-Hwan Kim(2022) for verifying the effectiveness on the correction of ingrowing nail. This study suggests applying Kralle Gel Recover one time suggested by Min-Gyu Bae & Chun-Sung Youn(2002) for the purpose of prevention & recurrence prevention of ingrowing nail, unbending the nail by using the Retractor used by a researcher Kyeong-Hwan Kim(2022) for the purpose of improving/correcting the ingrowing nail, and then applying Kralle Gel Recover 2-5 times suitable for the purpose, suggested by researchers Min-Gyu Bae & Chun-Sung Youn(2022). The results of this study are expected to be utilized as the data for enjoying a healthy life from ingrowing nail disease.

        열처리에 의한 Morganella morganii와 Photobacterium phosphoreum 유래 Histidine Decarboxylase의 불활성화

        Histamine을 생성하는 Morganella morganii와 Photobacterium phosphoreum으로부터 crude histidine decarboxylase(HDC)를 추출하여 65~121°C로 열처리한 다음 균의 생육 및 효소 활성 변화에 대해 살펴보았다. 그 결과 M. morganii와 P. phosphoreum은 모든 열처리 조건에서 비 가열 처리구와 비교 시 균의 생육이 저해됨을 확인하였다. M. morganii와 P. phosphoreum 유래 HDC의 효소 활성은 65°C에서 90% 이상의 효소 활성이 저해됨을 확인하였고, 온도가 증가함에 따라 유의적으로 활성이 억제되는 것으로 나타났다. SDS-PAGE 결과에서는 65~100°C 범위에서 비가열 처리구와 비교 시 조효소액의 단백질 패턴의 변화가 크지 않았으나, 121°C에서 단백질 band의 강도가 크게 약해졌다. Native-PAGE에서는 65°C 처리 조건에서부터 단백질 패턴의 변화가 크게 나타났다. 따라서 가열처리(65~121°C)는 histamine 생성균인 M. morganii와 P. phosphoreum의 생육을 억제할 뿐만 아니라 HDC의 효소 활성도가 저해됨을 확인하여, 식품산업에서 적용되고 있는 열처리 조건에서 histamine 생성 억제에 큰 효과가 있는 것으로 생각한다. This study was performed to investigate the effects of various thermal treatments on the growth of Morganella morganii and Photobacterium phosphoreum and activity of crude histidine decarboxylase (HDC) obtained from M. morganii and P. phosphoreum. Crude HDC and the two strains were treated at 65°C/30 min, 80°C/10 min, 100°C/10 min, and 121°C/10 min. Activity of crude HDC decreased with increasing temperature. Viable cells counts of M. morganii and P. phosphoreum were not detected in any heated samples. SDS-PAGE patterns of heated HDC did not show significant differences up to 100°C. However, at 121°C, protein band intensity was weakened. In native-PAGE, there was a major change in the pattern of HDC at 65°C. These results suggest that thermal treatment can help to reduce histamine production by reducing HDC activity and growth of M. morganii and P. phosphoreum.

        COPA(cuffed oropharyngeal airway)를 이용한 마취 유도 시 근이완제 사용 유무에 따른 반응

        Background : COPA (cuffed oropharyngeal airway) is a convenient device for airway management in patients undergoing general anesthesia for elective surgery in supine position. It causes less pharyngeal trauma than LMA(Laryngeal mask airway). The purpose of this study was to compare the effect of COPA with and without muscle relaxant. Methods : Forty patients with ASA physical status I and II for elective surgery were randomly assigned to two groups. Anaesthesia was induced with propofol (2 mg/kg) and vecuronium (1.5 mg/kg) and was administered intravenously in Group I but not in Group II. Mask ventilation was done for 5 min with 0: 5 L/min. COPA was placed and heart rate, and systolic, mean, diastolic blood pressure and peak inspiratory pressure were measured at 1 min interval for 5 min. Anaesthesia was maintained with pro- pofol 150 ㎍/kg/min, fentanyl 1 ㎍/kg/hr, O_2 2 L/min and N_2O 2 L/min. Results : There were no significant differences between Group I and Group II in heart rate, systolic, mean and dstolic blood pressure. PIP (Peak inspiratory pressure) was increased and hiccups occurred significantly (p $lt; 0.05) in Group II. Complete airway obstruction occurred in one patient of Group I and severe coughing, body movements and gagging occurred during induction and insertion in Group II. conclusions : With the use of appropriate muscle relaxant, we can use COPA without increased inspiratory pressure or significant complication.         실내 스모그 챔버의 설계 및 성능평가

        A multi-functional indoor smog chamber was designed and evaluated lo investigate photochenical or water vapor reaction mechanisms of air pollutants. Various smog chamber experiments could be conducted using ambient air or purified air in this smog chamber. The smog chamber consisted of a housing, a Teflon bag, blacklights, injection ports, sampling ports, and utility facilities. The characteristics of light source, the wall losses of air pollutants, and the quality of purified air were experimentally investigated. The maximum NO₂ photolysis rate was 1.10min^(-1). In a 2.5-m³ Teflon bag, the wall losses of ambient O₃, NO, and NO₂were 1.2~2.4×10^(-3)min^(-1), 0.7~2.0×10^(-3)min^(-1), and 0.4-2.0×10^(-3)min^(-1), respectively. The wall loss of ambient particles ranging 0.05 to 0.2㎛ was 1.8~5.4×10^(-3)min^(-1), which was slightly higher than those of ambient gaseous species. The purified air supply system provided high quality of air with NO₂, < 1 ppb, and total hydrocarbons <5 ppb.

      • Geometric effect of the hydrogel grid structure on in vitro formation of homogeneous MIN6 cell clusters.

        <P>A microstructure-based hydrogel was employed to study the relationship between spatial specificity and cellular behavior, including cell fate, proliferation, morphology, and insulin secretion in pancreatic β-cells. To effectively form homogeneous cell clusters in vitro, we made cell-containing hydrogel membrane constructs with an adapted grid structure based on a hexagonal micropattern. Homogeneous cell clusters (average diameter: 83.6 14.2 μm) of pancreatic insulinoma (MIN6) cells were spontaneously generated in the floating hydrogel membrane constructs, including a hexagonal grid structure (size of cavity: 100 μm, interval between cavities: 30 μm). Interestingly, 3D clustering of MIN6 cells mimicking the structure of pancreatic islets was coalesced into a merged aggregate attaching to each hexagonal cavity of the hydrogel grid structure. The fate and insulin secretion of homogeneous cell clusters in the hydrogel grid structure were also assessed. The results of these designable hydrogel-cell membrane constructs suggest that facultative in vitro β-cell proliferation and maintenance can be applied to biofunctional assessments.</P>

        난치성 백반증에 대한 흡입물집을 이용한 비배양 표피세포이식술 20례

        Background: As nonsurgical interventions for vitiligo are not always successful, various surgical modalities have been used in patients with refractory vitiligo. Of these, non-cultured epidermal suspension transplantation (NCES) was recently introduced to treat large recipient sites using cells from small donor tissue. Objective: We assessed the effectiveness and safety of NCES as a surgical treatment for patients with refractory vitiligo. Methods: We retrospectively reviewed 20 cases in 17 patients (11 females; median age 25 years) who underwent NCES from July 2015 through March 2018. Suction blisters (20 mm in diameter) were collected from the patient’s inner thigh at a donor-to-recipient area ratio of 1:5. After the addition of 5 mL recombinant trypsin solution to the suction blisters, followed by incubation at 37°C for 60 min, epidermal cells were manually scraped off the blister surface, and epidermal cell suspension was obtained by centrifugation at 1,500 RPM for 5 min. The suspension was applied to the vitiligo regions after epidermal ablation of those regions. Phototherapy resumed 1 month later. Treatment success was defined as ≥75% repigmentation of the surgical site, and all adverse events were noted. Results: Overall, 85.0% of cases (17/20) exhibited treatment success. Adverse events included hyperpigmentation (20%) and surgical site infection (5%), but the treatment was tolerable in all cases. Conclusion: NCES is a reliable surgical option for patients with vitiligo refractory to nonsurgical treatment. Large areas of vitiligo can be treated by NCES, and use of this technique should be encouraged in Korea. (Korean J Dermatol 2018;56(7):426∼432)

      • 허혈성 심질환에 있어서 아데노신 급속 정맥투여후 관동맥압의 변화에 관한 연구

        Background: Adenosine interacts with A1 receptors present on the extracellular surface of cardiac cells, activating K+channels in a fashion. It produces coronary vasodilatation and AV nodal block. The half-time is one to six second and has ultra-short action. In ischemic heart disease, fractional flow reserve(FFR) can be achieved safely with intravenous adenosine infusions at a rate of 150㎍/kg/min which cause maximal coronary hyperemia. Purpose: We investigated the patients who have had ischemic heart disease(n=8). After adenosine intravenous administration(150㎍/kg/min), the effect cause maximal hyperemia of coronary artery. During peak maximal hyperemia, we reported clinical findings, coronary hemodynamics and electrocardiogram findings. Methods: After diagnostic coronary angiography and left ventriculography, catheter was advanced into the ostium of coronary artery. We investigated coronary hemodynamics such as systolic coronary artery pressure, diastolic coronary artery pressure, mean coronary artery pressure and heart rate. To assess the use of adenosine for determination of fractional flow reserve, hemodynamics and electrocardiogram were measured at basal state and during peak maximal hyperemia. Results: Symptoms developed 1.5-2 minute after adenosine intravenous administration and each symptom disappeared 2-2.5 minute after adenosine administration. Two patients represented asymptomatic appearance and six patients complained of flushing, chest pain, palpitation and headache. In eight patients with ischemic heart disease, 1.5 minute after venous administration of 150㎍/kg/min of adenosine, coronary artery pressure decreased and heart rate increased significantly. Conduction abnormalities after administration of 150㎍/kg/min of adenosine were transient 2nd degree AV block 2 cases(25%). Conclusions: Adenosine is a potent ultra short-acting vasodilator. Although coronary artery pressure decreased and heart rate increased and mild cardiovascular symptoms occurred after continuous infusion of 150㎍/kg/min of adenosine, it is useful as an agent for determination of fractional flow reserve.

        알루미늄 PEO 코팅의 결정상에 미치는 공정 조건에 대한 연구 I. Unipolar 펄스와 코팅시간

        전해질로 $Na_2SiO_3$을 사용하여 A1050 알루미늄 판재를 pulse 폭 $ 2000{\mu}sec$, impulse 420 V, 400 ${\mu}$sec의 unipolar pulse로 플라즈마 전해 산화 코팅(plasma electrolytic oxidation coating)을 하여 산화 피막을 2, 5, 15, 30분에 따라 형성시킨 다음 산화피막을 분석하였다. 표면에 형성된 산화물의 결정상은 ${\alpha}-alumina$와 ${\gamma}-Alumina$로서 시간에 따른 변화는 없었다. 반응 초반에는 ${\gamma}-Alumina$가 많이 생성되었지만 시간이 갈수록 ${\gamma}-Alumina$의 양에는 변화 없이 ${\alpha}-alumina$가 많이 생겨남을 알 수 있었다. 이런 결과는 micro plasma에 의해서 ${\gamma}-Alumina$가 우선 생성되고, 이후 계속되는 micro plasma의 열에 의해서 ${\alpha}-alumina$로의 전이가 일어나기 때문으로 판단된다. Crystallographic phases of Plasma electrolytic oxidized Al alloy, A1050, were investigated. The electrolyte of PEO was $Na_2Si_2O_3$ and KOH. Unipolar pulse, $ 2000{\mu}sec$ with $400{\mu}sec+420V$ impulse, were applied for 2 min, 5 min, 15 min, and 30 min. ${\gamma}-Alumina$, as well as ${\alpha}-alumina$, was main crystal phase. ${\gamma}-Alumina$ was appeared in the beginning, then the amount of ${\alpha}-alumina$ was increased with time, but the amount of ${\gamma}-Alumina$ remained constant without any increasing. So, it is concluded that plasma gas produce ${\gamma}-Alumina$ at the first, and then ${\gamma}-Alumina$ transform ${\alpha}-alumina$ finally. During the transformation, high temperature of micro plasma gives transformation energy.

        사료원료 공급량 및 스크류 회전속도를 달리하여 제조한 배합사료가 넙치(Paralichthys olivaceus)의 성장 및 체조성에 미치는 영향

        The aim of this study was to investigate the effect of diet extruder conditions, such as feed-loading rate and screw speed, on growth performance and biochemical responses in olive flounder Paralichthys olivaceus. Over 8 wks, we used four identical diets (triplicated per treatment) with differing ratios of feed-loading rate (kg/h):screw speed (rpm/min) in a laboratory-scaled twin-screw extruder of 50:640, 80:640, 120:640, and 80:400, designated as EP1, EP2, EP3, and EP4, respectively. Screw speed impacted the buoyancy of experimental diets. Diets produced at a screw speed of 640 rpm/min floated for > 24 hrs, whereas those produced at a speed of 400 rpm/min sank between 10 s and 5 min. Fish that were fed EP1 and EP4 diets grew significantly faster than those fed EP2 and EP3 diets. Fish fed EP1 diets ate and gained weight most efficiently among treatments, a result that is likely to be related to feed-loading rate, i.e., ingredients extruded at a low feed-loading rate may have more time to cook in the pre-conditioner of the extruder. A cooked diet may be easier to digest in fish. Fish fed EP4 diets also showed significant weight gain, as compared to those fed EP2 and EP3 diets. However, we found no differences among treatments in proximate compositions of dorsal muscle, liver, and viscera of fish. Our results suggest that extruder conditions, may influence feed quality, impacting feed efficiency and growth of fish.

        초등학교 저학년용 영양교육 소책자 개발 및 효과 분석

        The purpose of this study was to investigate effects of nutrition education program and pamphlet for the lower grades elementary students focused on individual daily needed food exchange units using Food Exchange System. Program consisted of four lessons (40 min/lesson), 5 major nutrients & function, 6 food group and sources, daily needed food exchange units for normal body weight, and smart snack choice and exercise. Pamphlet as activity book was developed for the program. The subjects were 3rd grade elementary students (educated group, 31 vs. non-educated group, 31). Educated group were lessoned as group and/or individual. We examined the differences in nutrition knowledge, dietary attitudes, dietary intakes and satisfaction of the program and pamphlet. In educated group, there were positive improvements on nutrition knowledge score function and foods of 5 nutrients and on dietary attitudes type of breakfast and snacks. In the evaluation of dietary intakes according to KDRI, there were positive improvements on intakes level of riboflavin, vit. C, folate, Ca, P, Fe and Zn in educated group. In satisfaction with the program and pamphlet, contents, font size, visual, figure, difficulty and program curriculum were over 2.90/3.0. It showed that the developed nutrition education program and pamphlet focused on individual daily needed food exchange units using Food Exchange System improved nutrition knowledge, dietary attitudes and nutrients intake level in the lower grades elementary students.
