        The purpose of this study is to propose a pilot program for the elderly, namely 'looking into happiness.' This program is composed of 6 two-hour sessions and based on Glasser's(1992) reality-therapy. The main comcepts of the reality-therapy are five genetic needs, total behaviors, responsibility, control, and choice. The goals of the program are to help senior citizens gain a new perspective for self-worth and learn to choose more effective behaviors rather than miserable behaviors in their everyday lives. This program is based on the assumptions that all humans are driven by five basic needs - survival, love, power, fun and freedom - which dictate and shape their lives; that all human behaviors are an attempt to satisfy one or more of these five needs; and that all of their conscious behaviors are chosen. Based on these assumptions, the senior citizens are to be facilitated to chose more effective ways to act and to think.

        수도권 신도시 개발정책에 관한 연구

        우리나라의 신도시 개발은 1960년대부터 시작된 경제개발정책의 일환으로 공업단지 조성에 따른 배후도시로서의 신도시 건설이었다. 그 당시는 신도시 건설은 주로 경제적 목적과 수도권의 인구과밀문제를 해소하기 위하여 이루어졌고, 1980년대 들어와서는 부동산 경기의 급등에 따른 투기문제가 심각해지면서 수도권 주변지역(일산, 평촌, 산본 지역 등)이 집중적으로 개발되었다. 그러나 현재 신도시 개발에 따른 많은 문제점은 주민의 삶의 질을 저하시켰으며 신도시 개발정책에 대한 국민들의 신뢰감을 잃게 하는 상황이 초래되었다. 그것은 지금까지의 신도시 개발정책결정은 반드시 고려되어야 할 중요한 사항들이 무시되었기 때문이다. 앞으로는 신도시 개발은 지역간의 유기적인 발전을 꾀하고 쾌적하고 편리한 자족적 신도시를 만들기 위해서는 정책결정시에 반드시 고려되어야 할 중요한 정책대안들을 살펴보아야 한다. 이 논문에서는 그 동안 신도시 개발정책결정과정에서 소홀히 했던 요소들을 분석하고 성공적인 외국의 신도시개발 사례를 소개하고자 한다. 즉 미국의 도시성장관리 프로그램의 하나인 적정 공공시설 요구제도를 살펴보고 그 사례로 메릴랜드주의 프레드맄 카운티가 운영하는 동시성/주택공급 시스템을 고찰하여 향후 우리나라 신도시 개발정책 방향에 일조를 하고자 한다.

        Environmental factors of Quality were Temperature, pH, DO, COD, NH₄^(+)-N, No₂^(-)-N, NO₃^(-)-N, PO₄^(3-)-P, transparency and Chl-a. The values range were 3.3-31℃, 7.0-9.3, 8.0-16.8mg/l, 2.9-6.5mg/l, 0.0l-0.8mg/l, 0.0l-0.15mg/l, 0.8-3.7mg/1, 0.01-0.l7mg/l, 0.5-2.0m, 3.1-49.8mg/l, respectively. The phytoplankton are identified as 170taxa, and the order of appearing frequency is as following; Chlorophyceae, Bacillaripphyceae, Cyanophyceae, Chrysophyceae, Euglenophyceae, Dinophyceae. The causative species of red tide were identified as Microcystis aeruginosa, Trachellomonas hispida, Ceratium hirundinella,' Peridinium, Melosira italica, Staurastrum dorsidentiferum var. ornatum. Minimum Standing crops of algae cell was 728 cell/ml at point 4 on December and Maximum Standing crops of algae cell was 4.68×106 cell/ml at point 2 on August. Dominance species are Cyclotella glomerata and Microcystis aeruginosa during winter to spring season and summer to autumn.

      • 수은(Hg)에 노출된 토마토 유모에 있어서 Ascorbic acid 산화에 대한 Anthocyanin의 항산화 기능

        토마토(Lycopersin esculentum) 유묘을 Hg에 노출시켰을 때 줄기와 잎에서 anthocyanin농도의 증가가 관찰되었으며, anthocyanin은 Hg에 의한 ascorbic acid의 산화를 억제하였다. 이러한 실험결과들은 anthocyanin의 Hg의 독성효과에 대항하여 Hg와 복합체를 형성하여 항산화제로서 중요한 역할을 할 수 있으며 ascorbic acid도 이러한 반응을 촉진시킬 수 있음을 보여준다. Mercury exposure caused an overall increase of anthocyanins in stems and leaves of tomato (Lycopersicon esculentum) seedlings. Furthermore, mercury increased the oxidation of ascorbic acid, and the oxidation reaction was suppressed by addition of anthocyanin. Our results suggest that anthocyanin not only chelates Hg ions, but also forms an ascorbic acid-metal-anthocyanin complex, which could be the possible protection mechanism from Hg-induced phytotoxicity.

        燐酸腐蝕에 依한 乳齒象牙質의 變化 및 複合레진 浸透에 關한 走査電子顯徵鏡的 硏究

        To observe the etching patterns and peneration of composite resin to human deciduous dentin etched with 40% phosphoric acid by scanning electron microscope, etching was performed for 0sec., 30sec., 60sec., 90sec. and 120sec. after preparing class Ⅴ cavities on the lavial surface of 51 extracted deciduous teeth. ㆍThe change of etched dentin surface were observed. ㆍClearfil resin was filled on the etched cavities and the penetration patterns of resin were observed. ㆍClearfil and Hipol resin surfaces after removal of tooth substance were observed. The results were as follows: 1. Clearly visible dentinal tubule openings were seen on the dentin surface etched for 30 sec. Extension of etching time, increased the depth of tubule enlargement. 2. Rare resin tags were seen in the dentin etched for 30 sec. followed by resin filling. Many resin tags were seen in the dentin etched 60 sec., 90 sec., 120 sec. followed by resin filling. 3. Clearfil resin tags had hollow depressions at the ends, but Hipol resin tags shrank at the side and had tapered ends. 4. Proper time of etching deciduous dentin for adhesive resin was 60 sec. 5. Clearfil resin had more favorable properties than Hipol resin in sealing the dentinal tubules.

      • IC 실현에 적합한 정현파 능동 발진기의 회로 및 특성에 관한 연구(Ⅱ)

        Two kinds of simple active oscillators are proposed and analyzed assuming that operational amplifier has two-poles frequency characteristics. The first circuit is composed of one operational amplifier, one resistor and one grounded capacitor. The second oscillator is realized with one operational amplifier and three resitors. Proposed oscillators have the low sensitivity of the oscillation frequency for little variations of the passive element values. By the experimental results obtained with Op-Amp.?A741, the simple oscillators can be useful for the frequency range 1.25 KHz≤f? ≤400KHz for the active -R ocillator, and it is shown to transform the active-R oscillator circuit into the voltage controlled type.Therefore, two kinds of oscillators circuit are attractive for the IC realization, because they hve one operational amplifier, one resistor and one grounded capacitor, or three resistors.

        Adenosine Receptor Agonists Modulate Visceral Hyperalgesia in the Rat

        Background/Aims: Adenosine is an endogenous modulator of nociception. Its role in visceral nociception, particularly in visceral hyperalgesia, has not been studied. The aim of this study was to determine the effects of adenosine receptor agonists in a model of visceral hyperalgesia. Methods: The visceromotor response (VMR) in rats to colorectal distension (CRD; 80 mmHg, 20 seconds) was quantified by electromyographic recordings from the abdominal musculature. Three hours after the intracolonic administration of zymosan (25 mg/mL, 1 mL), VMRs to CRD were measured before and after either subcutaneous or intrathecal administration of an adenosine receptor agonist. Results: Subcutaneous injection of 5`-N-ethylcarboxyamidoadenosine (NECA; an A1 and A2 receptor agonist), R(-)-N6-(2-phenylisopropyl)-adenosine (R-PIA; a selective A1 receptor agonist), or CGS-21680 hydrochloride (a selective A2a receptor agonist) dose-dependently (10-100 mg/kg) attenuated the VMR to CRD, although hindlimb weakness occurred at the higher doses tested. Intrathecal administration of NECA or R-PIA dose-dependently (0.1-1.0μg/kg) decreased the VMR, whereas CGS-21680 hydrochloride was ineffective over the same concentration range. Higher intrathecal doses of the A1/A2 receptor agonist NECA produced motor weakness. Conclusions: Adenosine receptor agonists are antihyperalgesic, but also produce motor weakness at high doses. However, activation of the spinal A1 receptor significantly attenuates the VMR to CRD without producing motor weakness. (Gut and Liver 2008;2:39-46)
