        실리콘 겔에 활성화된 복강 대식세포의 interleukin-6 및 tumor necrosis factor-α에 의한 섬유모세포 중식 자극

        Silicone gel breast implants may induce local(fibrous capsular contracture) or systemic(rheumatoid arthritis, systemic sclerosis, etc) complications. The exact mechanism of fibrous capsular contracture has not been fully understood. In the present study, we tried to find out the effect of silicone gel on the fibroblast proliferation which has been known as a major contributing factor in fibrous capsular contracture formation. In vitro, activated macrophages are known to secrete monokines which affect fibroblast proliferation and collagen synthesis. And tumour necrosis factor-α(TNF-α) and interleukin-6(IL-6), which were released by macrophages, were reported as potent stimulator of fibroblast proliferation. The goal of this study is to investigate the role of macrophages and tumour necrosis factor-αor interleukin-6 in the interaction of fibroblasts and silicone gel. We designed four groups, two experimental and two control, using Institute for Cancer Research(ICR) mouse peritioneal macrophage and silicone gel. For the preparation of the conditioned medium of macrophages, peritoneal macrophages were prepared and cultured for 24 hours on the silicone gel-coated and naked (not coated) surface [silicone gel-macrophage conditioned medium(SCM; experimental group) and normal polystyrene-macrophage conditioned medium(NCM; control group) respectively]. To correct the effect of 10% fetal bovine serum which was included in Rapid Prototyping and Manufacturing Institute (RPMI) 1640 medium and draw the effect only by macrophages, the RPMI 1640 medium with 10% fetal bovine serum was cultured by the same method on the silicone gel-coated and naked surface (silicone gel-macrophage free conditioned medium; SFM and normal polystyrene-macrophage free conditioned medium; NFM respectively). Each conditioned medium was added onto NIH 3T3 fibroblasts culture at a final 25% concentration of total culture medium and followed by the cultivation for 24 hours. For antibody neutralizing experiments, each conditioned medium was preincubated with polyclonal rabbit anti-mouse TNF-α antibody or polyclonal rat anti-mouse IL-6 antibody for 1 hour and then, conditioned medium with antibody was added to the culture medium of NIH 3T3 fibroblasts by the same method. After 24 hours cultivation, total number of viable fibroblast(cell growth), DNA synthesis and collagen synthesis of fibroblasts with each medium were measured by sulforhodamine B(SRB) assay, 3H-thymidine and 3H-proline incorporation respectively. The results were as follows: 1. In the experiment about the effect of the conditioned medium on the fibroblast activity, the experimental group(SCM), compared with the control group(NCM), showed a significant increase of the cell growth (p<0.01), a significant decrease of DNA synthesis(p<0.001), but no significant difference in the collagen synthesis. 2. In the experiment about the effect of polyclonal rabbit anti-mouse TNF-α antibody on the fibroblast activity, after the addition of antibody the experimental group, compared with the control group, showed a significant decrease of the cell growth(p<0.001), a significant increase of DNA synthesis(p<0.01), but no significant difference in the collagen syn thesis. 3. In the experiment about the effect of polyclonal rat anti-mouse IL-6 antibody on the fibroblast activity, after the addition of antibody the experimental group, compared with the control group, showed a significant decrease of the cell growth(p<0.001), a significant increase of DNA synthesis(p<0.0001), but no significant difference in the collagen synthesis. In conclusion, culture supernatants (conditioned medium) of peritoneal macrophages, activated by silicone gel, stimulate the NIH 3T3 fibroblast proliferation. TNF-α and IL-6, products of macrophage, are involved in the stimulation of NIH 3T3 fibroblast proliferation in an in vitro condition.

        Many researches about the combustion process gas temperature and velocity in a constant volume combustion chamber have been conducted. The temperature and the distribution of velocity in the combustion chamber have a large influence in the combustion process. Temperature distribution and their histories of jet flame in a constant combustion chamber were measured by a laser rayleigh pyrometer , as a fundamental study of the combustion process in a spark ignition engine. It makes this study get the important data of temperature histories and flame state of jet flame.

      • 급성골수백혈병에 대한 관해유도화학요법 후의 Granulocyte Colony-stimulating Factor의 효과

        Granulocyte colony-stimulating factor(G-CSF) have been shown to hasten the recovery of neutropenia following anti-cancer chemotherapy. There are controversial opinions on the use of G-CSF in acute myelogenous leukemia(AML) because clonogenic studies have shown that G-CSF stimulates leukemic colonies as well as granulocyte colonies. In this study, we evaluated the effectiveness and safety of recombinant human G-CSF after induction chemotherapy with DAV regimen(Ara-C 100mg/㎡ day 1-8, Doxorubicin 45mg/㎡ day 3-5, VP-16 100mg/㎡ day 6-8) in 9 patients with AML. G-CSF therapy(200 ㎍/㎡/day) was begun 2 days after the end of chemotherapy and continued for 10 days. 17 AML patients who recieved the same chemotherapy before the onset of this study were used as historical control. G-CSF shortened the duration of granulocytopenia (less than 500/㎣) significantly (13 vs 23 days, p<0.001), but it had no effect on platelet recovery. Although the incidence of febrile episodes was almost the same, the duration of febrile episodes was shorter in the group treated with G-CSF( 5 vs 12 days, p=0.03). There was no evidence that G-CSF accelerated the regrowth of leukemic cells and the complete remission rates between the 2 groups were not different. These results show that G-CSF accelerates the recovery of granulocytopenia and shortens the febrile days after chemotherpy in patients with AML, without affecting the regrowth of leukemic cells.

        소아 확장성 심근증의 임상적 고찰

        A Clinical assessment of the 25 patients with dilated cardiomyopathy who were admitted to the Department of Pediatrics, Keimyung University Dong San Hospital from January, 1982 to June, 1993 was performed. The result were as follows: 1) Among 25 patients with dilated cardiomyopathy. 8(32%) were younger than 1 year of age at the time of admission. 2) Adriamycin toxicity was the only encountered etiologic factor in 1 patient. 3) On admission, hepatomegaly and tachycardia were noted in almost all patients. 4) The Chest X-rays showed cardiomegalies in all 25 patients, pulmonary vein congestions in 15(60%) and pleural effusion in 2(8%). 5) The electrocardiography showed left ventricular hypertrophy in 72% and supraventricular tachycardia in 32%. 6) The echocardiographic examination showed left ventricular dilatations in all patients and left atrial dilatations in 20(80%). 7) Of 18 patients who had followed mean period of 2.9 years, 10 patients died within 9 months after the diagnosis.

      • 닥터소음의 피드포워드제어에 관한 연구

        This paper has described the efficiency for the new method of the active control of the duct noise which is adaptive filtering application by experiment which set the additional sound source. Firstly the active noise control system becomes stable since the acoustic feed back quantity can be set under -30 dB by setting the additional sound source at an excite of duct and for the signal which is supplied to additional sound source by the setting the microphone at the upstream of duct. Secondly, since the noise of duct output and additional sound source constructs dipole source, radiating power will be decreasing over all the direction in comparison with the case without the additional sound source in the range of frequency which the distance between the duct and the additional sound source is shorter than wave length that is a center frequency of the duct noise. The result of noise cancelling amount for simulation and fan noise experiment by the active control system has been attenuated about 5∼6 dB by only using the proposed active control system and about 9∼10 dB can be attenuated by using adaptive filtering algorithm with the proposed active control system on the desired frequency band.

      • FEM을 이용한 선삭가공 절삭조건의 영향 분석

        A plane strain finite element model is developed to simulate turning with continuous chip formation using adaptive remeshing during the thermal-mechanical coupled analysis. Comparisons between the experimental and simulation results for cutting forces are performed to validate FE analysis results. Influences of machining parameters such as depth of cut, cutting speed and feed rate on cuting force and shear angle are analyzed by Taguchi method. The more depth of cut and feed rate result in the increase of cutting forces, but the rates of increase are decrease due to the larger shear angle. As the cutting speed increases, von Mises stress of workpiece near the tool tip decreases because the strength of specimen decreases at high temperature above 500℃. This thermal effect on cutting force is negligible because the affected area is very localized and the average values of von Mises stress in the shear plane are the same among the diverse cutting parameters.

        In this paper, Preprocessing(Thinning) Printed Korean Character was studied Algorithm in terms of the Blocking Masking and Decision step by effective Recognition. The results were as follow ; The Recognition Rates were 98 Percents. And Average Recognition Time were 0.42 seconds. Then the Recognition Rates was obtained a high compression Error by the Preprocessing. The effective Mesh Vector Method Required for study.

      • 西獨의 行政訴訟에 있어서의 假救濟制度

        The modern welfare society has a tendancy to expend the bounderies of administrative power. According to this tendancy the importance of administrative litigation is being stressed as the means of securing the rights of general public in modern society that is based on Constitutionalism. But, it is usually necessary much time to secure the right of general public by administrative litigation, thus what kind of provisional remedy is requested to get to conclusion of administrative litigation. The provisional remedy in the scope of administrative litigation can be devided in two categories. The one is the problem of suspension of execution, the other is the problem of application of provisional disposition rules of civil procedure. In west Germany, they are based on the principle of suspension of execution(Aufschiebende Wirkung), therefore the execution of administrative disposition is suspended by institution of administrative litigation, and exceptionally can be executed under the strict condition. They also prescribe the provisional order (einstweilige Anordnung) like the provisional disposion rules of civil procedure. The provisional order is effect as the means of securing the general public's rights that the suspension of execution is ineffective, because the principle of suspension of execution is limited to the scope of complaint lawsuits. In Korea, the other hand, we do not adopt the suspension of execution. Therefore the administrative disposition can be executed though the administrativ litigation is institituted. Exceptionally it can be suspended under the strict condition. Especially the prevailing opinion and judicial precedent are opposed to the scope of administrative litigation. These systems of korea are not complete to secure the rights of general public, and moreover infringe the right of access to courts. In order to secure the rights of general public completely, our systems of provisional remedy in the scope of administrative litigation must be amended like the systems of Germany.
