유아의 성별에 따른 정서조절능력, 사회정보처리과정 및 공격성 간의 관계 = The Relations among Young Children's Emotion Regulation, Social Information Processing and Aggression depending on Sex

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study was to investigate the relations among young children's emotion regulation, social information processing and aggression depending on sex. A total of 126 children(boys:64, girls:62) in Daegu and Ulsan were selected as the subject of this study. For statistical analysis, t-test, correlation, Fisher's z-test and stepwise multiple regression analysis were used. The results of this study were as follows: (1) There was sex difference in overt aggression, total aggression and emotion control. (2) There was sex difference in the relations among young children's emotion regulation, social information processing and aggression. (3) For boys, insecure/negative emotion affected overt aggression, relational aggression, and total aggression, but for girls, insecure/negative emotion and emotion control affected overt aggression, relational aggression, and total aggression. In Conclusion, this study was shown that there was sex difference not only in the influence of children's emotion regulation and social information processing on aggression, but also in the relations among the young children's emotion regulation, social information processing and aggression.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구의 목적은 유아의 성별에 따른 정서조절능력, 사회정보처리과정 및 공격성 간의 관계에서의 차이를 알아보는 것이다. 연구대상은 대구와 울산의 만 6세 유아 총 126명(남아:64, 여아:62)이다. 자료 분석을 위해 t검정, 상관분석, Fisher's z-test, 단계적 중다회귀분석을 실시하였다. 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 공격성 유형 중 외현적 공격성과 공격성 전체, 정서조절능력의 하위 요인인 정서통제에서 남아와 여아의 차이가 나타났다. 둘째, 정서조절능력과 사회정보처리과정, 공격성의 관계에서 성차가 나타났다. 셋째, 남아의 외현적 공격성과 관계적 공격성 및 공격성 전체에는 불안정/부정적 정서가 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타난 반면, 여아의 외현적 공격성과 관계적 공격성 및 공격성 전체에는 불안정/부정적 정서와 정서통제가 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이와 같은 본 연구의 결과는 유아의 정서조절능력과 사회정보처리과정이 공격성에 미치는 영향뿐만 아니라 각 변인간의 관계에 있어서도 성별에 따른 차이가 있음을 시사한다.
