아동상담자란 직업을 통해 경험하는 것에 관한 질적 연구 = Qualitative Research on the Meaning of the Occupation of Child Counselor

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The participants of this study were counselors of children, and the main focus of the study is the participants` experiences as child counselors and the meaning of their experiences. In other words, the purpose of this study is to expose the various experiences of child counselors and the significance thereof. The participants are all part-time employees at hospitals or private counseling centers and have 3~7 years of experience as child counselors. Among the processes of Phenomenological studies, the method of study chosen for this study is the Phenomenological methodology that is suggested by Giorgi. The researcher organized the experiences of child counselors and the meaning of these experiences into the following four categories: 1) Natural affinity related to their inner problems, 2) Responsibility regarding changes: bearing it alone vs. bearing it together, 3) Balance between personal life and work life: beautiful bondage, preconceptions and not being able to scratch their own back, 4) Happiness, reward and a sense of calling. As a result, it showed that child counselors are people who find meanings in their lives and who continuously strive to gain various experiences.
