교육과정에 따른 중학교 음악교과서의 분석 연구: 창작영역을 중심으로 = Analysis of Junior Highschool Music Textbooks According to National Curriculums Concentrate on Activities of Creation

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

Creativity in music education is important. In this study we analyze the creation parts of junior high school music textbooks which follow the first national curriculum through the present 2009 national curriculum. Then we investigate the desired directions for activities of creation and suggest guidelines for future music education and music textbooks. In this study we surveyed 41 textbooks according to the eight national curriculums from the second educational curriculum to the one revised in 2009. The conclusions of the study are as follows. First, the genre in the textbooks expands into Korean traditional music, multi-cultural music, and popular music from western music in the early curriculums. Especially Korean traditional music increased from under 10 percent to 35.9 percent. Second, appreciation, instruments, creation, and understanding is continuously increased in addition to singing part. Third, frequency and diversity of the activities of creation is increased. It diversifies to various creational activity from the melody composition. Fourth, each activity of creation is explained in detail for each step. The integration with other subjects is also tried. But still the portion of creation is too small and there are need of new creation activities in which the students find new problems and solutions.
