2009 개정 교육과정에 의한 중학교 음악교과서 분석 연구 : 국악 영역을 중심으로

The purpose of this study is to analyze appreciation pieces of Korean traditional music for 17 types of middle school textbook with 2009 revised educational curriculum and develop the instruction model applying comprehensive music learning sequence.
The analysis of this study from march, 2013 anew 17 types of middle school music unify certified textbook basis of revise course education 2009. Each text book publishing company arranged by alphabetically Kyohaksa (Kang), Kyohaksa (Lee), Kumsung, Taesung, Doosan don-ga, Mirae N culture, Parkyoungsa, Visang Education, Sungandang, Sekwang Music, YBM, Music & Life, Jungang Education, Jihak, Chunjae (Yun), Chunjae Education, Hyundai Music Publishing.
The thesis analyze a part of Korean traditional music by publishing company in 17 types of middle school music textbook from march, 2013. First analyze percentage of Korean traditional music in music textbook by each publishing company. The Korean traditional music in textbook by tradition music and creative music by instrument music and vocal music to analyze a distribution chart by each publisher textbook. Analysis of Korean traditional music base on revise course education 2009 by music and content field make a part expression, listening, applying in living to investigation each textbook content has efficiency and applied. The analysis based on 17 types of middle school textbook result is.
Revise course education 2009 17 types of Korean traditional music in middle school textbook is total 773 songs and Korea traditional music is 31.2%. 8 types of textbook shows more than 30% to maximum of 34% depends on textbook publisher. lots of difference in textbooks. normally 45.4 Korean traditional songs present 17 types of textbook, A result of analysis the Korean traditional music by category normally traditional instrumental music 9.5 songs, creative instrumental music 4.9 songs, traditional vocal music 24.3 songs, creative vocal music 6.7 songs. Maximum of 41 songs different by textbook publisher traditional instrumental song 12 songs, creative instrumental song 6 songs, traditional vocal song 23 songs, creative vocal song 13 songs, Analysis of content by parts normally expression 64.1%, listening 32.6%, applying in living 3.2%, In expression vocal 39.3%, instrument 16.1%, creative 4.6%, body expression 4.1%, expression and vocal is focused 3 textbooks applying in living is not included.
The percentage of 17 types of middle school music textbook by result of revise course education 2009 is normally 31.2% still big difference each textbook publisher. Korean traditional music attach in traditional vocal music, Maximum of 41 songs difference each textbook.
Important of school education to understand and preserve the Korea traditional music as well. To improve important and development possibility of Korean traditional music, students need more chance to have Korean traditional music activities and education. These days like an age of diversification importance of Korean traditional music is cultural asset. Since Korea traditional music is being famous and right of location it need to go forward to apply and understand the society and culture education structure. The thesis wish to be used in revision and direction of Korean traditional music education revise course education 2009 hope to be helped on basic data of Korean traditional music education efficiency.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구의 목적은 중학교 음악 교과서 17종에 수록된 국악 내용을 2009 개정 음악과 교육과정에서 강조하고 있는 영역별로 분류하여 정리 및 분석하고 이를 통해 효율적인 국악교육을 위한 기초 자료를 제시하는 것이다.
본 연구의 분석 대상은 2009 개정 교육과정에 의거하여 2013년 3월부터 중학교에 새롭게 보급된 중학교 음악 통합 인정 교과서 17종이다. 각 교과서의 출판사는 가나다 순서대로 교학사, (주)교학사, (주)금성출판사, 도서출판태성, (주)미래엔, (주)박영사, 비상교육, BM 성안당, 세광음악출판사, (주)와이비엠, 음악과생활, (주)중앙교육, (주)지학사, 해법 천재교과서, 해법 천재교육, 현대음악이다.
본 논문은 2013년 3월부터 중학교 교육에 사용되어지는 중학교 음악 교과서 17종에 수록된 국악 영역을 출판사별로 분석하였다. 먼저 출판사별 음악 교과서에 국악 영역이 적절하게 포함되어있는지 파악하기 위해 전체 악곡에서 국악곡이 차지하는 비율을 조사하였다. 교과서에 수록되어 있는 국악 제재곡이 여러 가지 장르에 다양하게 분포되어있는지 전통과 창작으로 나누어 기악과 성악곡을 교과서별로 분석하였다. 국악 제재곡 분석을 바탕으로 교과서에 수록된 국악곡을 2009 개정 교육과정의 음악과 내용 영역인 표현, 감상, 생활화로 분류하여 출판사별 음악 교과서가 교육과정의 내용을 효율적으로 반영하고 있는지 조사하였다. 이를 바탕으로 17종 중학교 음악 교과서를 분석한 결과는 다음과 같다.
2009 개정 교육과정 중학교 음악 교과서 17종에 수록된 국악 제재곡은 총 773곡이며 국악의 비중은 평균 31.2%로 나타났다. 8종의 교과서에서 30%이상의 국악을 수록하고 있으나 출판사에 따라 최대 34%의 차이를 보였다. 교과서별 국악의 비중에 있어 편차가 크다는 것을 알 수 있다. 17종 음악 교과서에는 평균 45.4개의 국악곡이 제시되고 있으며 제재곡을 장르별로 분석한 결과 평균적으로 전통 기악곡 9.5곡, 창작 기악곡 4.9곡, 전통 성악곡 24.3곡, 창작 성악곡 6.7곡이 수록되어 있는 것으로 나타났다. 출판사에 따라 최대 41곡의 차이를 보였으며 전통 기악곡은 12곡, 창작 기악곡 6곡, 전통 성악곡 23곡, 창작 성악곡 13곡의 편차를 나타냈다. 내용 영역별 분석에서는 평균적으로 표현 64.1%, 감상 32.6%, 생활화 3.2%의 비율을 나타냈으며 표현 영역 내에서는 가창 39.3%, 기악 16.1%, 창작 4.6%, 신체표현 4.1%의 순으로 나타났다. 표현 영역과 가창 영역에 상당히 편중되어 있는 것을 볼 수 있으며 3개의 교과서에서 생활화 영역의 내용을 포함하지 않은 것으로 나타났다.
이상 결과를 종합해 보면 2009 개정 교육과정에 의한 17종 음악 교과서에서 나타난 국악의 비중은 평균 32.9%가 제시되고 있으나 출판사별 큰 차이를 보였다. 제재곡 또한 전통 성악곡에 편중되는 현상을 볼 수 있으며 교과서간 수록곡의 수가 최대 41곡의 차이를 보이고 있었다. 내용 영역별 비율에서는 표현 영역에 비해 생활화 영역의 비중이 매우 미미하게 나타났으며 표현 영역 중에서는 가창 영역이 매우 높은 비중을 차지하여 영역별 불균형을 이루는 것을 볼 수 있었다.
우리나라의 음악을 바르게 이해하고 보존하기 위해서는 학교에서의 교육이 가장 중요하다. 국악교육을 통해 전통 음악에 대한 중요성을 강조하고 우리 민족 음악의 발전 가능성에 대해서도 관심을 가져야 하며 이를 위해 학생들에게 학교 교육을 통해 다양한 악곡과 활동으로 국악을 자주 접할 수 있는 기회를 제공해야 한다. 오늘날과 같은 다양화 시대에 국악은 우리가 잘 할 수 있는 수월성의 차원에서 가장 큰 의미를 찾을 수 있으며 점점 더 확대되어가는 전통음악의 위치에 맞게 앞으로 국악교육은 그 시대의 사회와 문화 그리고 교육 체제를 잘 반영하여 통합적인 학습 영역과 다각적인 내용 구성의 접근을 통해 새롭게 한 발 더 나아가야 할 것이다. 본 논문이 2009 개정 교육과정 국악 교육의 방향과 이후 개정될 교육과정의 국악 영역의 교육내용을 결정하는데 있어 활용되기를 바라며 이를 통해 보다 효율적인 국악교육을 위한 기초 자료를 제시하는데 도움 줄 수 있기를 기대한다.
