고등학생의 계획된 우연 기술 수준에 따른 진로포부와 직업탐색행동의 관계탐색 = Examining the Relationship of Career Aspiration and Job Exploration Behavior on the Level of Planned Happenstance Skills

This study examined the effect of planned happenstance skills on the career development which is nowadays actively discussed in the field of career counseling. It was investigated that how the relationship between career aspiration and career exploration behavior is changed on the level of planned happenstance skills including curiosity, persistence, optimism and risk-taking. Correlation analysis and moderation effect analysis were conducted to convey this purpose. As a result, three variables showed significant inter-correlations. Moreover, planned happenstance skills moderated the relationship between career aspiration and career exploration behavior. These results suggest that even though one has high engagement in their career development, concrete exploration behavior cannot be manifested without planned happenstance skills. Finally, it is discussed how happenstance theory can be applied on career counseling field.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 진로 상담 분야에서 활발히 논의되고 있는 우연과 관련하여, 계획된 우연의 다섯 가지 기술이 고등학생의 진로발달에 어떠한 영향을 주는지에 대해 알아보았다. 370명의 고등학생을 대상으로, 호기심 및 인내성, 유연성, 낙관성, 위험감수로 이루어진 계획된 우연 기술이 진로포부와 직업탐색행동의 관계에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지 검증하 기 위해 상관분석과 조절효과검증이 실시되었다. 연구 결과, 세 변인 모두 유의한 정적 상관을 보였다. 또한 진로포부와 직업탐색행동의 관계를 계획된 우연의 다섯 가지 기술 이 유의하게 조절하는 것으로 밝혀졌다. 이러한 결과는 진로에 대한 높은 관심과 열정 을 의미하는 진로포부 수준은 계획된 우연 기술이 있을 때 구체적인 탐색행동으로 이어 질 수 있다는 것을 시사한다. 이러한 연구 결과를 바탕으로 진로 상담 현장에서 우연이 론이 어떻게 적용되어야 하는지에 대해 논의하였다
