성인애착과 이성친구 간 갈등해결전략의 관계: 공감능력의 매개효과 = The Relationship between Adult Attachment and Conflict Resolution Strategies in Romantic Friends: The Mediating Effects of Empathy

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study was to investigate the mediating effects of empathy on the relationship between adult attachment and conflict resolution strategies in romantic friends. For this research, 326 participants from a university were asked to fill out the questionnaire which consisted of ECR-R, IRI, and MADS. The results of the study were as follows. First, attachment avoidance and attachment anxiety were negatively correlated with positive conflict resolution strategies, while they were positively correlated with negative conflict resolution strategies. It was also found that attachment avoidance was negatively correlated with cognitive empathy and emotional empathy. However, attachment anxiety was positively correlated with them. Second, attachment avoidance has both direct effect and indirect effect, and attachment anxiety has indirect effect on the positive conflict resolution strategies. This indirect path is mediated by cognitive empathy. Third, attachment anxiety has direct effect on the negative conflict resolution strategies. However, empathy did not mediate the path adult attachment and negative conflict resolution strategies. In addition, cognitive empathy was partial mediated through emotional empathy. The implications and the limitations of the current study were discussed
