대학생의 진로스트레스 대처전략과 진로결정수준 간의 관계에서 진로결정자기효능감의 매개효과 = The role of career decision-making self-efficacy in improving the quality of career decision making

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study aimed to investigate the mediating role of career decision-making self efficacy on the relation between coping strategies(problem solving, social support seeking & and avoidance) and career decision level. Significant mediational effects of career decision-making self efficacy were found in the paths from problem solving and avoidance strategies to career decision level, but not for social support seeking strategy when the entire sample was of interest. For male college students, problem solving and social support seeking coping strategies contributed significantly to the increase of career decision-making self efficacy, but no mediating effect of self efficacy was found. For junior and senior college students, only problem solving strategy was significantly associated with career decision-making self efficacy and no mediating effect of self efficacy was shown. Implications and suggestions to further research are discussed.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구에서는 대학생들의 진로결정수준에 영향을 미치는 진로결정자기효능감의 역할을 검증하고, 진로결정자기효능감을 높이는데 있어 스트레스 대처전략의 하위요인인 문제해결중심 대처전략, 사회적 지지추구 대처전략, 회피형 대처전략의 영향력을 확인하고자 하였다. 주요 연구결과를 요약하면, 첫째, 전체모형 검증결과, 스트레스 대처전략의 세 하위요인 중 문제해결중심 대처전략, 회피형 대처전략은 진로결정자기효능감을 매개로 진로결정수준에 영향을 주었지만 사회적 지지추구 대처전략과 진로결정수준 간에는 진로결정자기효능감의 매개효과가 유의하지 않았다. 둘째, 성별에 따른 모형검증 결과, 여성 집단은 전체집단과 동일하게 문제해결중심 대처전략과 회피형 대처전략이 진로결정자기효능감을 매개로 진로결정수준 수준에 유의한 영향을 미쳤지만 남성 집단은 문제해결중심 대처전략과 사회적 지지추구 대처전략만이 진로결정자기효능감에 직접적으로 유의한 영향을 미쳤고, 진로결정자기효능감의 매개효과는 없었다. 셋째, 학년별 모형검증 결과, 저학년 집단은 전체집단과 동일하게 문제해결중심 대처전략과 회피형 대처전략이 진로결정자기효능감을 매개로 진로결정수준 수준에 유의한 영향을 미쳤으나 고학년 집단은 문제해결중심 대처전략만 진로결정자기효능감에 직접적으로 유의한 영향을 미쳤을 뿐, 진로결정자기효능감의 매개효과는 없었다. 끝으로 본 연구의 시사점 및 후속연구를 위한 제안점을 논의하였다.
