가정과 연계한 포트폴리오 유아평가 수행과정에 참여한 부모 이야기 = Story of Parents who Participated in Portfolio Children Assessment Conduct Process Connecting with Their Family

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This research examined the story of parents who participated in portfolio children assessment. By connecting the family with what was being studied, we were able to determine the meaning of portfolio children assessment and the difficulties that were encountered when participating in portfolio children assessment. The goal of this research was to determine a better method of children assessment. The subjects of this research were 10 parents of children from a kindergarten class in Gyeonggi province. The results of the interview and survey are as follows. The first result is that parents` participation in portfolio children assessment helps their understanding of their children, informs them of the developmental status of their children, and improves their understanding of the institute. The second result was that parents were able to establish a connection with teachers as well as with their children by sharing their children`s thoughts with their teachers. The third result was that two difficulties of portfolio children assessment were determined. The first difficulty was that communication with young children was found to be difficult and the second difficulty was that the assessment process of relying on children`s explanation on activity circumstances without prior knowledge was also problematic. The fourth result was that the parents who participated in portfolio children assessment believed that they needed professional advices and detailed methods of solutions as well as feedback in order to better assess their children.
