조형활동 포트폴리오 평가가 유아의 창의적 표현력, 유아-교사관계 및 자기평가에 미치는 효과 = (The) Effects of Portfolio Assessment of Art Activity to Young Children's Creative Expression, the Relationship of a Child and a Teacher, and Children's Self-Evaluation

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 조형활동 포트폴리오 평가가 유아의 창의적 표현력, 유아-교사관계 및 자기평가에 대한 효과를 알아보고자 하는데 그 목적을 두었다. 본 연구의 목적에 따라 다음과 같은 연구문제를 설정하였다.
첫째, 조형활동 포트폴리오 평가가 유아의 창의적 표현력에 효과가 있는가?
둘째, 조형활동 포트폴리오 평가가 유아-교사의 관계에 효과가 있는가?
셋째, 조형활동 포트폴리오 평가가 유아의 자기평가에 효과가 있는가?
본 연구의 대상은 만 4세 유아 12명을 6명씩 실험집단과 통제집단으로 구분하여 10주 동안 조형활동 포트폴리오 평가를 실행하였다. 조형활동 포트폴리오 평가의 유아 창의적 표현력 효과를 알아보기 위해서는 전경원(1998)의 유아 종합 창의성 검사도구를, 유아와 교사의 관계에 대한 효과를 측정하기 위해서는 유아-교사관계척도(박영충, 1997)를 사용하였고, McAfee와 Leong(1994)이 개발한 자기평가지로써 유아의 자기평가를 하였다. 자료분석 방법으로는 조형활동 포트폴리오 평가가 유아의 창의적 표현력과 유아-교사의 관계에 미치는 효과를 알아보기 위해 실험집단과 통제집단 유아의 사전과 사후 점수간 차이검증을 하였다. 유아의 조형활동 포트폴리오 평가 후 자기평가 반응변화는 유아의 작품으로 사전과 사후의 변화를 비교하여 내용분석 하였다.
본 연구의 결과를 근거로 결론을 내리면 다음과 같다.
첫째, 조형활동 포트폴리오 평가는 유아의 창의적 표현력 향상에 효과가 있다.
둘째, 조형활동 포트폴리오 평가는 유아-교사의 관계에 효과가 있어 긍정적으로 변화시킨다.
셋째, 조형활동 포트폴리오 평가는 유아의 자기평가에 효과가 있어 반성적 사고를 촉진시킨다.
이상과 같은 연구결과를 통하여 유아의 조형활동 포트폴리오 평가는 교육현장에서 유아와 교사에게 적용 가능성에 대해 많은 시사점을 제공해 줄 것으로 사료된다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study is to examine the effects of portfolio assessment of art activity to young children's creative expression, the relationship of a child and a teacher, and self-evaluation. For this purpose, the study sets the following questions;
First, is the portfolio assessment of art activity effective to Children's creative expression?
Second, is the portfolio assessment of art activity effective to the relationship of child and teacher?
Third, is the portfolios assessment of art activity effective to young child's self-evaluation?
For this research, the researcher divided 12 four-year-old children into two groups, six each, as experimental group and control group and performed the portfolio assessment of art activity for ten weeks. Korean Comprehensive Creativity Test for Young Children by Jeon Gyeong-won(1998) was used to examine the effect of the portfolio assessment of art activity to young children's creative expression. The child-teacher relationship scale was utilized to measure the effect of the relationship of a teacher and a child(Park Young Chung, 1997).
The child's self-evaluation was made by self evaluation paper developed by McAfee and Leong(1994).
For data analysis method, the score difference of experimental group and control group was verified before and after in order to examine the influence of the portfolio assessment of art activity on children's creative expression and child-teacher relationship. The child's change of response in self evaluation after the portfolio assessment of art activity was fulfilled by comparing and analyzing the child's works' change before and after.
The conclusion drawn by result of the study is as follows.
First, the portfolios assessment of art activity is effective to the improvement of children's creative expression
Second, the portfolios assessment of art activity is effective in the relationship of child and teacher by changing the relationship positively.
Third, the portfolios assessment of art activity is effective to young child's self-evaluation and as a result encourage child's reflective thinking.
The portfolios assessments of art activity of young children provide a lot of suggestions to children and teachers on the applicability in the educational field through above research result.
