지역축제와 주민의 갈등원인, 갈등관리, 축제성과와의 영향관계 연구 :횡성한우축제를 중심으로 = The Residents’ Conflicts in Local Festival : Focused on the Hoengseong Korea Beef Festival

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study is identified the causes of conflicts arising out of local festivals and implications for conflict management and festival performance. To this end, a survey was carried out on the analysis of the Hoengseong Hanu Festival, which is currently in sharp conflict. And acquisitions of 292 validated samples were used for analysis. Analysis used SPSS 22 program, and conducted an analysis using the structural equation model by establishing causal relationships between factors derived through exploratory factors analysis.
Research has shown that due to conflicts of interest, economic selfishness, hinder local development, communication disorder, and target difference in the management of conflicts have resulted in a significant positive impact on conflict management. Cooperation and assertion in conflict management have shown significant positive effects on the performance of the festival, while evasion significant negative effects. Moreover, it appears that it is important to resolve the conflicts between the participating parties and the local residents in the region because of the relatively high incidence of conflict, such as avoidance of conflict and contention, and the formation of conflict between the participating parties and the local residents. These analyses are expected to be used as a baseline for reducing conflicts with local residents as well as research and management of local festivals that have been insufficient to manage them.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 지역축제에서 나타나는 갈등원인과 갈등관리, 축제성과 간의 영향관계에 대하여 알아보았다. 실증분석을 위해 현재 축제를 둘러싼 지역 내 갈등이 고조되고 있는 횡성한우축제를 사례로 지역민 대상 설문조사를 수행하였으며, 292부의 유효표본을 획득하여 분석에 이용하였다. 분석은 SPSS 22를 이용하였으며, 요인분석을 통해 도출된 요인 간 인과관계를 설정하여 구조방정식모형을 활용하여 분석을 시행하였다.
연구 결과 갈등원인으로 경제적 이기심, 지역개발 저해, 의사소통의 장애, 목표의 차이가 도출되었으며 갈등관리에 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 그리고 갈등관리 가운데 협조와 주장은 축제성과에 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 반면, 회피의 경우 부(-)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 상대적으로 회피, 주장 등 부정적인 갈등관리에 대한 인식이 높은 것으로 나타나고 있어, 횡성한우축제의 발전을 위해서는 무엇보다 참여 주체와 지역주민 간 갈등 해소 및 협력관계 형성이 우선 과제임을 시사한다. 이러한 분석 결과는 그동안 미흡하였던지역축제 운영 및 관리에 관한 연구뿐만 아니라 지역주민과의 갈등을 감소시키기 위한 기초자료로 활용될 수 있을 것으로 기대한다.
