여성한부모의 양육 스트레스와 우울과의 관계 : 성인애착과 가족탄력성 및 실존적 영성의 매개효과 = The Mediating Effects of Adult Attachment and Family Resilience and Existential Spirituality on the relationship

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study investigated mediating effects of adult attachment and family resilience and existential spirituality on the relationship between single mothers' parenting stress and depression.
The concrete research questions examining the purpose are as follows.
First, What are the relationships between parenting stress and adult attachment and family resilience and existential spirituality and depression of single mothers?
Second, What does the parenting stress effect the depression via adult attachment and family resilience and existential spirituality?
The study follows through on this assumption in its development of theoretical models explaining the depression. Model 1 is a double mediating model of coping resources on the relationship between single mothers' parenting stress and depression. Model 2 is a full mediating model of coping resources on the relationship between single mothers' parenting stress and depression. and Model 3 is a simple mediating model of coping resources on the relationship between single mothers' parenting stress and depression.
For this purpose, a total of 302 single mothers completed a pack of questionnaires(Parenting Stress Scale, ECR-R, Family Resilience Scale, k-Spritiality Wellness Scale, k-CES-D) and the data were analysed using descriptive statistics, correlation analysis and the Structual Equation Model(SEM), SPSS 15.0 and AMOS 7.0 program. In clarifying the significance of mediating effects, the sobel test was used.
After structual equation modeling analyses, only one path between parenting stress and family resilience was not statistically significant. Through former result, family resilience has much effect on depression more than parent stress has effect on depression. According to Loehlin(1981)' method, Model Trimming was used in search of a model which is more good and theory-based. A modified model was generated and compared with the competing Model 1. On the basis of the comparison of model fit indices and theoretical consideration the Modified model was chosen.
Result showed, there is a statistically high correlation between parenting stress and adult attachment and family resilience and existential spirituality and depression of single mothers. and In Modified model, Eight direct path are sigificant, Four mediating effecs is significant. These results is well explained about chosen model. Also in spite of negative correlation between family resilience and depression, after structual equation modeling analyses, family resilience has effect on depression positively. This is meaningful on the analogy of higher family resilience cause single mothers‘ depresson.
In conclusion, coping resources was shown to mediate the relationship between single mother's parenting stress and depression. but the path between parenting stress and family resilience is not significant and family resilience is not mediated between parenting stress and depression. This finding conforms the hypothesis of the study in showing that adult attachment and existential spirituality effect family resilience directly and parenting stress influenced depression via adult attachment and existential spirituality partially. Also in the Modified model is revealed mediating effect of existential spirituality(49%, 36%), adult attachment(16%, 14%). and It needs to build a fitting point of family resilience on depression.
Counseling intervention designed to must consider ways to improve existential spirituality and adult attachment for decline of the parenting stress, and in-depth studies of existential spirituality and adult attachment which has an effect on family resilience is needed.
Finally, the clinical implications and limltations of the study, and directions for further study are discussed.
