만 5세 유아사회교육 내용에 대한 부모와 교사의 인식 및 실행 비교 연구 = The Comparative Study of Parents’and Teachers’Perceptions and Executions on the Contents of Social Education for 5-Year-Old

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study was to investigate the parents’ perceptions and executions on the contents of social education for young children based on ‘social relationships`` in Nuri curriculum for 5-year-old as well as teachers’ perceptions and executions. The subjects of this study were 274 mothers, 274 fathers, and 132 teachers of 5-year-old who attend in kindergartens and child-care centers located in Seoul and Kyunggi-do. The questionnaires were administered to both parents and teachers to understand their perceptions and executions on the contents of social relationships in Nuri curriculum. The data were analyzed by statistical methods such as mean, standard deviation and F test, T test with the SPSS for Windows 20.0 program. The results were as follow: First, there were no significant differences on fathers’ perceptions and executions by their characteristic variables(education level, social studies training), but significant differences on mothers’ perceptions and executions by social studies training. There were also significant differences on teachers’ perceptions and executions by social studies training. Second, the mean total scores of perceptions and executions in the group of teachers were the highest of the three groups. This study is expected to provide diversified information for better social studies training and implies that it is necessary to review the social education curriculum for higher level of reliability as well.
