수퍼비전 형식, 방법 및 내용에 대한 수퍼바이지 인식 = A Study of the Supervisee's Perception on Their Supervision Experiences in Korea

Along with settlement of the counseling license system in Korea, professional needs of supervision as an essential requirement has been increased. However, little studies have been conducted in evaluation of the supervision process and methods in terms of their contribution to the supervision efficacy. In the present study, we investigated into the current state of supervision in Korea, and identify the difference of supervisee's perception according to their professional development. Eighty two supervisees located in Seoul or Kyunggi area participated in this study. We examined the supervisee's perception on the most effective form of supervision, the most frequently discussed contents and the frequently used methods in supervision, preferred and lousy types of supervisor, and evaluation methods used in supervision. We compared supervisee's responses according to their level of professional development. Also, we emphasized the role of supervision to imporve supervisee's competence, and suggested possible direction of supervision in Korea.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

국내에 상담자격제도가 정착되면서 수퍼비전은 전문성 발달에 필수요건으로서 그 수요가 증가하고 있다. 그러나 수퍼비전 과정에 대한 평가나 수퍼비전 효율성을 높이기 위한 방법에 관한 국내 연구는 부족했던 것이 사실이다. 이에 본 연구는 국내에서 진행되고 있는 수퍼비전에 대해 수퍼바이지들은 어떤 평가를 내리고 있는지를 수퍼바이지의 경력에 따라 확인하여 향후 수퍼비전에 대한 방향을 제시하고자 하였다. 연구를 위해 총 82명의 수퍼바이지들을 대상으로 설문을 실시하였으며, 경력에 따라 가장 많이 경험하고 있는 수퍼비전 형태 및 방법 그리고 가장 효과적으로 생각하는 수퍼비전 형태 및 방법, 수퍼비전에서 가장 많이 다루어지는 내용, 선호하는 수퍼바이저와 꺼려지는 수퍼바이저 유형, 수퍼비전 평가 방식 등에 대해 응답하도록 하였다. 연구결과에 비추어 상담자의 발달과 교육에 있어 수퍼비전의 역할과 효과적인 수퍼비전 방식에 대해 논의하였다.
