중학생의 낙관성이 진로태도성숙에 미치는 영향: 사회적 지지를 통한 학업적 자기효능감의 매개된 조절효과 검증 = Influence of Optimism on the Career Attitude Maturity in Middle School Students: Testing the Mediated Moderating Effect of Academic Self-Efficacy through Social Support

This study examined the mediated moderating effects of academic self-efficacy through social support on the relationship between optimism and career attitude maturity. A total of 250 middle school students (men=107, women=141) responded to the survey packet including measures of optimism, social support, academic self-efficacy, and career attitude maturity scales. The data was analyzed using SPSS 18.0 and SPSS Macro. The results of this study were as follows: First, correlation analysis revealed that optimism, social support, academic self-efficacy, and career attitude maturity have positive correlations. Second, a mediating role of academic self-efficacy regarding the relationship between optimism and career maturity attitude was found from a test of mediation with regression analysis. Third, the interaction effect analysis verified the statistically significant influence of optimism interacting with social support on academic self-efficacy; whereas, the influence of academic self-efficacy interacting with social support on career maturity attitude was not significant. Fourth, the moderating effect of social support on academic self-efficacy mediating the relationship between optimism and career attitude maturity (the mediated moderating effects) was statistically significant; whereas, the moderating effect of social support on the relationship between academic self-efficacy and career attitude maturity (the moderated mediating effects) was not significant.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 낙관성과 진로태도성숙의 관계에서 사회적 지지를 통한 학업적 자기효능감의 ‘매개된 조절효과’를 확인하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 중학생 250명(남 109명, 여 141명)을 대상으로, 낙관성, 사회적 지지, 학업적 자기효능감, 진로태도성숙을 측정하였고, SPSS 18.0과 SPSS Macro를 사용하여 분석하였다. 본 연구의 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 각 변인들의 상관관계를 분석한 결과, 낙관성, 사회적 지지, 학업적 자기효능감, 진로태도성숙 사이에 유의한 정적 상관이 있었다. 둘째, 회귀분석을 사용한 매개효과 분석 결과, 낙관성이 학업적 자기효능감을 통해서 진로태도성숙에 영향을 미치는 것을 확인할 수 있었다. 셋째, 위계적 회귀분석을 통한 조절효과를 검증한 결과, 낙관성과 사회적 지지가 상호작용하여 학업적 자기효능감에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 반면에, 학업적 자기효능감이 사회적 지지와 상호작용하여 진로태도성숙에 미치는 영향은 유의하지 않은 것으로 밝혀졌다. 넷째, SPSS Macro를 통해 매개된 조절효과와 조절된 매개효과를 검증한 결과, 낙관성이 진로태도성숙에 미치는 영향에 대한 학업적 자기효능감의 매개효과가 낙관성과 사회적 지지의 상호작용에 의해 증가되는 것으로 나타나 매개된 조절효과가 존재하는 것을 확인할 수 있었다. 반면, 낙관성이 학업적 자기효능감을 거쳐 진로태도성숙에 영향을 미치는 관계에 있어 학업적 자기효능감과 사회적 지지의 상호작용을 하는 조절된 매개효과는 존재하지 않는 것으로 나타났다.
