컴퓨터 시뮬레이션을 활용한 중학생의 진로개발능력 함양을 위한 학교진로상담 프로그램 개발 = Developing a School Career Counseling Program Using Computer Simulation for Building Career Developmental Competences of Middle School Students

The purpose of this study was to developing a school career counseling program using computer simulation for building carer developmental competences of middle school students reflecting the characteristics of both school counseling and computer simulation. To achieve this purpose, program development process was as follow; investigating, analyzing, designing, constructing, applying. This program was consisted of twelve sessions, the first session was for orientation, from the second to the fourth sessions were for awareness of oneself, form the five to eight sessions were for awareness of occupation world, the nine to eleven sessions were for rational decision making, and the final session was for evaluation and termination of the program.
In order to evaluate the effects of the constructed program, three classes of the 31 second year students of the M Middle School located in the Choong-buk area were set as the experimental group, the comparative group and the control group. Compared to the comparative group and control group, the experimental group has shown a significant statistical difference in the improvement of career developmental degree. Especially, on four subordinate factors of career developmental degrees; self-awareness, knowledge of occupational world, determination and motivation, the experimental group has shown a significant statistical differences compared to those of the comparative group and control group.
The finding of this research shown that this program reflecting the characteristics of both ‘school’ and ‘students’ was more effective than general career counseling program on school setting. This study will contributes to participate middle school students on career counseling and also, will active role in promoting their career development competences.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

이 연구의 목적은 학교상담의 특징과 학생들의 특성을 반영한 컴퓨터 시뮬레이션을 활용한 중학생의 진로개발능력 함양을 위한 학교진로상담 프로그램을 개발하는 것이다. 이러한 연구 목적을 달성하기 위해 첫 번째, 조사단계에서는 프로그램의 대상인 중학생들의 진로발달에 관한 문헌고찰과 더불어 학교진로상담에 대한 실태와 컴퓨터 시뮬레이션 활용에 대한 요구조사를 실시하였다. 이를 바탕으로 두 번째, 분석단계에서는 프로그램의 목표를 진술하고 프로그램의 구성요소를 선정․조직하였다. 세 번째, 설계단계에서는 프로그램의 전체구성과 제시전략을 설계하였다. 네 번째, 구안단계에서는 회기별 프로그램의 시안을 작성하여 전문가의 검토를 받고, 연구대상 범위에 있는 중학교 학생들을 대상으로 프로그램 예비 적용 후, 수정․보완하여 최종 프로그램을 제시하였다. 마지막으로 적용단계에서는 프로그램의 효과를 검증하기 위해 실험집단에 프로그램을 적용한 후 효과를 검증하였다. 개발된 프로그램은 총 12회기로, 1회기의 오리엔테이션에서 2, 3, 4회기의 자기이해를 위한 회기와 5, 6, 7, 8회기의 직업세계의 이해를 위한 회기, 그리고 9, 10, 11회기의 합리적 의사결정 및 진로계획 수립을 위한 회기를 거쳐 마지막으로 12회기의 진로발달목표 달성 평가 및 종결하는 회기로 구성하였다.
프로그램의 효과검증은 중학교 2학년 3개 학급을 대상으로 실시하였다. 우선, 실험집단에는 컴퓨터 시뮬레이션을 활용한 중학생의 진로개발능력 함양을 위한 학교진로상담 프로그램을 적용하고, 비교집단에는 일반 진로상담을 적용하였으며, 통제집단에는 아무런 처치도 하지 않았다. 실험결과, 진로발달의 4가지 하위요인인, 자기지식, 직업지식, 결단성, 동기점수의 차이가 유의한 것으로 나타났다. 이는 컴퓨터 시뮬레이션을 활용한 중학생의 진로개발능력 함양을 위한 학교진로상담 프로그램이 중학생들의 진로발달에 더 큰 긍정적 영향을 미친 것으로 해석된다. 즉, 개발된 프로그램은 ‘학교’라는 공간의 특수성과 ‘학생’이라는 대상의 특성을 반영함으로써 기존 진로상담 프로그램에 비해 학교장면에 더 효과적이라 할 수 있다. 특히, 누구나, 언제든지, 어디서나 가상공간에서 직업체험을 할 수 있는 컴퓨터 시뮬레이션은 진로상담을 위한 강력한 도구임에 틀림없다. 본 연구를 통해 개발된 프로그램은 학생들을 진로상담에 적극적으로 참여케 함으로써 학생들의 진로개발 능력을 함양하는 데 커다란 기여를 할 것으로 기대된다.
