이웃환경특성이 저소득아동의 자아탄력성에 미치는 영향 -가족과정요인의 매개효과를 중심으로- = The Effects of Neighborhood Environment Characteristics on the Ego-Resilience of the Low-Income Children: Focused on the Mediating Effects of Family Process Factors

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study aims to examine (1) the effects of neighborhood environment characteristics such as neighborhood bonding and neighborhood problems on the ego-resilience of low-income children, and (2) whether family process factors mediates the relationship between neighborhood environment characteristics and the ego-resilience of low-income children. For these purposes, a research model was created based on the social disorganization theory and family process model. 214 mothers with seven to twelve-years of children using community child centers were included in this study and Structural Equation Modeling was used to analyze the data and to test the research model. The results are as follows. First, neighborhood environment characteristics did not show the direct effect on the ego-resilience of low-income children. Second, family process factors such as family function and positive parenting mediated the relationship between neighborhood environment characteristics and the ego-resilience of low-income children. Based on these results, several theoretical and practical implications and directions for future research were discussed.
