One-Person Creative Firms have been better able to cope with the unpredictable processes of product or service development and more sensitive to shifts in consumer demand than their corporate counterparts. Meanwhile, they have not been able to capitalise on these strengths because they have limited access to capital investment and to distribution in the mainstream markets. The purpose of this paper is to conduct an in-depth survey of One-Person Creative Firms. Based on the data collected from 502 firms via phone, several characteristics of One-Person Creative Firms, for example size, sales, major business category and number of buyer, were identified through statistical procedures.

This study was performed to find out how well students were prepared to adjust to the credit-based society which they will encounter in their post-university days by measuring their credit ratings, and to determine what is needed to help them prepare for the society. The subjects were 255 students who attended economics(or consumer)-related lectures and the survey was implemented in the 2006 Fall Semester. The summary of this study is as follows : First, the mean credit rating was 27.9 out of 50 points and could not be evaluated comparatively high. Second, according to the result of principal factor analysis on the credit measuring scale, 3 factors were found : money management behavior, spending behavior and extraordinary conspicuous consumption. While spending behavior was relatively good, money management behavior and extraordinary conspicuous consumption were bad, with the latter being worse. Third, females and a group with part-time work experience managed money better than their counterparts. Lower monthly cellular phone fees, better spending behavior and better credit rating, and the debt-carrying group was worse in spending behavior than their counterparts. Also, the group which got bigger monthly allowances had a greater conspicuous consumption tendency than that which received less monthly allowances.

In this paper, we present a new RFID system with an analytics and integration services (AIS) layer at the edge of enterprise systems. In order to aggregate, analyze and present relevant information in real-time from RFID networks and to make enterprise information systems respond in real time, there needs to be an analytics and integration services layer at the edge of the enterprise systems. RFID data needs to be assimilated at the enterprise level and converted to actionable business intelligence so it complements the existing enterprise information systems without affecting them. AIS can make RFID solutions scaleable and powerful, while bringing a real-time visibility and true automation to the RFID-enabled enterprise system as a whole.
K-POP을 활용한 발견학습 기반의 한국어 단어학습 어플리케이션의 설계 및 구현

Korean learning is becoming more and more popular. However, there are few Korean learning applications that assist learning Korean easily and effectively. In this paper we design and implement the smart phone application of Korean words learning based on Bruner’s discovery learning. It is correlated with discovery learning and words using in real-life for learning Korean. In order to pronounce and memorize vowels and consonants of Korean words correctly, the implemented application based on Bruner’s discovery learning helps foreigners learn Korean by utilizing K-Pop music.
