In this study, the bromate removal was investigated in continuous fixed-bed column using Fe(II)–Al(III)layered double hydroxide (LDH). With increase of column bed depth from 1.0 to 3.0 cm, breakpoint time(tb) increased from 51 to 175 h while throughput volume raised from 12.24 to 42.00 L at breakthroughpoint. The bromate removal was attributed to the reduction of Fe(II) present in LDH. The breakthroughcurve was simulated well by Thomas model, but BDST model was the only effective to initial part(1–10%). The maximum removal capacity (N0) calculated by Thomas model reached 71.01 mmol/g atflow rate (3 mL/min).

Anatatus orientalis is an important natural enemy parasitizing eggs of lanternfly Lycorma delicatula White. In order to effectively utilize this parasitoid, the parasitism rates of lantern-fly and emergence of its parasitoid were surveyed in different areas. Results showed that the emergences of wasp Anatatus orientalis from different areas had significant differences. Those parasitoids emerged from lantern-fly eggs collected from Yangling of Shaanxi province, Qinhuangdao of Hebei province, and Dagang District of Tianjin City came out focus on May only, while wasps from Yantai of Shandong province showed 2 obvious emergence peaks in May and September respectively. Wasp populations with emergence asynchrony in Yantai area were analyzed by different periods. Results revealed that the emergence percentages in spring (May) were significantly lower than that in fall (September), but the sex ratios did not differ significantly between the two seasons. The emergence asynchrony of parasitoid may be induced by the diapause of species, which is a long-term coevolutional outcome of parasitoid with host for maintaining its population. These findings provided some scientific bases for the rational utilization of this parasitoid in practice.

In this study, two soybean genotypes, i.e., aluminum-tolerant Baxi 10 (BX10) and aluminumsensitive Bendi 2 (BD2), were used as plant materials and acidic red soil was used as growth medium. The soil layers from the inside to the outside of the root are: rhizospheric soil after washing (WRH), rhizospheric soil after brushing (BRH) and rhizospheric soil at two sides (SRH), respectively. The rhizosphere bacterial communities were analyzed by high-throughput sequencing of V4 hypervariable regions of 16S rRNA gene amplicons via Illumina MiSeq. The results of alpha diversity analysis showed that the BRH and SRH of BX10 were significantly lower in community richness than that of BD2, while the WRH exhibited no significant difference between BX10 and BD2. Among the three sampling compartments of the same soybean genotype, WRH had the lowest community richness and diversity while showing the highest coverage. Beta diversity analysis results displayed no significant difference for any compartment between the two genotypes, or among the three different sampling compartments for any same soybean genotype. However, the relative abundance of major bacterial taxa, specifically nitrogen-fixing and/or aluminum-tolerant bacteria, was significantly different in the compartments of the BRH and/or SRH at phylum and genus levels, indicating genotype-dependent variations in rhizosphere bacterial communities. Strikingly, as compared with BRH and SRH, the WRH within the same genotype (BX10 or BD2) always had an enrichment effect on rhizosphere bacteria associated with nitrogen fixation

Anatatus orientalis (Hymenoptera: Eupelmidae) is aparasitic natural enemy of the lantern-fly Lycorma delicatula (Hemiptera:Fulgoridae) in China. It can complete 6 generations from April to December in a year under laboratory conditions. It takes 18-28 d for development of one generation at about 25℃. Under the room temperatures of 23-25℃, the developmental duration of eggs is 1-2 days, 10 days for larvae, 4 days for prepupae and 7 days for pupa stage. A. orientalisis a mono-parasitic wasp in the eggs of L.delicatula and its female can oviposit 9.18 eggs on average. The oviposition period is 5-20d. The adults can survive 4-7d on average without supplying any nutrition. While feeding with 20% honey solution, the female adult longevity can reach 25 days on average.

In this paper, we investigate uniqueness problems of certain types of $q$-difference polynomials, which improve some results in [20]. However, our proof is different from that in [20]. Moreover, we obtain a uniqueness result in the case where $q$-differences of two entire functions share values as well. This research also shows that there exist two sets, such that for a zero-order non-constant meromorphic function $f$ and a non-zero complex constant $q$, $E(S_j,f)=E(S_j,{\Delta}_qf)$ for $j=1,2$ imply $f(z)=t{\Delta}_qf$, where $t^n=1$. This gives a partial answer to a question of Gross concerning a zero order meromorphic function $f(z)$ and $t{\Delta}_qf$.

The photocatalytic efficiency of the bare BiOI has been greatly restricted because of the high recombination rate of electron-hole charge pairs. To further regulate the photocatalytic performance of BiOI, in this work AgI was employed to couple with BiOI. A serial of novel AgI/BiOI heterostructures with improved sunlight-driven photocatalytic activities were prepared in-situ by a hydrothermal method. The results reveal that the presence of AgI in the composites alters band gap of the samples and greatly affects the photo-induced charge separation rate benefited from the strong interaction between AgI and BiOI. $OH and $O2 were observed using electron spin-resonance (ESR) spectroscopy. The photocatalytic activities of AgI/BiOI heterostructures for the decay of methyl orange (MO) and phenol solution under the simulated sunlight irradiation were investigated, the results display that the composite photocatalysts exhibit higher photocatalytic activity than the bare BiOI and excellent stability. The charge separation and transfer mechanism was proposed based on the experimental results.

The inherent drawbacks of Bi2O3 greatly limit the practical application of Bi2O3, thus it is crucial to boost the photocatalytic activity of Bi2O3, and therefore NiO was employed to couple with Bi2O3. In this paper, NiO/Bi2O3 heterostructures with improved sunlight driven -photocatalytic activity were constructed by a pore impregnating method. The samples were studied by Brunauer -Emmett- Teller (BET) method, X-ray diffraction (XRD), UVeVis diffuse reflectance spectroscopy (DRS), high-resolution transmission electron microscopy (HRTEM), surface photovoltage (SPV) spectroscopy and electron spin-resonance (ESR) spectroscopy. The photocatalytic activities of NiO/Bi2O3 heterostructures toward discoloration of methyl orange (MO) aqueous solutions were evaluated. The results display that the presence of NiO in the heterojuctions increases the specific surface area, the absorbance in the visible light region, the separation rate of the photo-induced charge pairs and the formation of $O2 in the photocatalytic system.
