LEI-LEI TIAN,XIAN-YONG WEI,QUAN-CHAO ZHUANG,CHAO WU,RUI-LUN XIE,ZHI-MIN ZONG,YONG-LI CUI,SHI-GANG SUN 성균관대학교(자연과학캠퍼스) 성균나노과학기술원 2013 NANO Vol.8 No.6
The morphologies and structures of Ni(OH)2–graphene hybrid materials were tailored by using different mineralizers in this work. It was revealed that the synergic effects of the highly oxidized graphene sheets and the mineralizers played a crucial role in controlling the morphology and structure of the nanocomposites, and Na2CO3 is a very effective mineralizer for growing chiseled 2D nanoplates of Ni(OH)2 on graphene sheets. When produced with NaOH, fragmental Ni(OH)2 crystals with irregular shapes erratically decorated on graphene sheets. In contrast, chiseled Ni(OH)2 hexagonal nanoplates grown on graphene sheets were obtained when Na2CO3 was used as the mineralizer. These unique 2D–2D nanoarchitectures with higher contact area between the nanocrystals and graphene substrate can increase the interfacial interaction and then efficiently improve the structural stability of the composite material, thus exhibiting an enhanced Li storage capacity and excellent cycling performance of 562 mAh g-1 after the 36th cycle.

This paper studies the fixed-time stability of coordinated attitude tracking control under consideration of an input amplitude constraint. The attitude dynamics is described by rotation matrix, which avoids the unwinding phenomenon. By designing and analyzing the proposed nonsingular terminal sliding mode surfaces (NTSMSs) step by step, a novel saturated NTSMS is finally established. This NTSMS has theoretical and practical advantages over other existing NTSMSs, such as its fixed-time convergence property and boundedness. Based on it, two fixed-time coordinated controllers are developed. The first one effectively decreases the amplitude of the control input, whereas the second prevents saturation. Both controllers keep the attitude synchronization task be finished in fixed-time and provide better performance than existing controllers. Specific expressions of the regions to which the system states to converge are obtained using Lyapunov stability theory. Simulation results testify the correctness of the proposed theorems.
Cavitation in a Shaft-less Double Suction Centrifugal Miniature Pump
Zhuang, Baotang,Luo, Xianwu,Zhu, Lei,Wang, Xin,Xu, Hongyuan Korean Society for Fluid machinery 2011 International journal of fluid machinery and syste Vol.4 No.1
Based on the consideration that the cavitation would affect the operation stability of miniature pumps, the 3-D turbulent cavitating flow in a test pump was simulated by using a mixed cavitation model and k-${\omega}$ SST turbulence model. In order to investigate the influence of inlet geometry parameters on the cavitation performance of the miniature pump, two more impellers are designed for comparison. Based on the results, the following conclusions are drawn: 1) Cavitation performance of the double suction shaft-less miniature pump having different impeller is equivalent to the centrifugal pump having ordinary size, though the flow passage at impeller inlet is small; 2) The miniature pump having radial impeller can produce much higher pump head, but lower cavitation performance than that having the impeller based on the conventional design method; 3) It is believed that by applying the double suction design, the miniature pump achieved relatively uniform flow pattern upstream the impeller inlet, which is favorable for improving cavitation performance.

Purpose: Tau is a microtubule-associated protein that can be found in both normal and abnormal breast cells. Whether the expression of Tau protein can predict the response to neoadjuvant chemotherapy (NACT) is still unclear. In this study, we assessed the role of Tau protein expression in predicting a pathological complete response (pCR) to NACT for different subtypes of breast cancer. Methods: Four hundred and sixty-eight eligible patients were retrospectively recruited in our study. The relationship between clinicopathologic factors, including Tau protein expression, and pCR in different subtypes was evaluated using logistic regression analysis. Correlation between Tau and disease-free survival (DFS) and overall survival (OS) was performed using Kaplan–Meier analysis. Results: The expression of Tau protein was negatively correlated with pCR, especially in triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC). No significant difference was observed in the luminal human epidermal growth factor receptor-2 (HER2)-negative subtype and HER2-positive subtype. Patients with pCR were associated with better DFS and OS (p < 0.05). However, Tau protein expression had no association with either DFS or OS (p > 0.05). Conclusion: Tau protein expression can predict pCR before NACT in TNBC, but there was no correlation between Tau expression and DFS or OS.

Reducing energy consumption has also become an important way to reduce expenditures and increase revenue for ISP. For solving the problem of dynamically changing network-flow of virtual network in runtime, we first analyze relations and differences between virtual network and IP network on energy-saving issues. We secondly model the makeup of energy consumption in virtual network, and determine the object of energy-saving in virtual network at. Finally we propose the solutions to this energy-saving problem. The solutions can be described as follows: (1) based on the historical data of daily network-flow, we divide one day into two time slices, and one is called idle time slice, the other is called busy time slice; (2) we design the dynamic switch-off algorithm and run it at the beginning of idle time slice, and we use former algorithms to be started at the beginning of busy time slice; (3) in the dynamic switch-off algorithm we determine the method to select virtual networks and the method to remap; (4) we apply roulette wheel to select virtual networks, in the selection method we consider both current influences on energy-saving and influences in the future. Simulation results show that the dynamic switch-off algorithm can effectively select virtual networks, and the whole solution performs well in energy aware virtual network in runtime.

( Xin Jian Lei ),( Zhang Zhuang Liu ),( Jae Hong Park ),( In Ho Kim ) 한국축산학회 2022 한국축산학회지 Vol.64 No.2
The essentiality of zinc for animals has been recognized over 80 years. Zinc is an essential trace element that is a component of many enzymes and is associated with the various hormones. Apart from the nutritional function, zinc has antimicrobial property and often be supplemented in diets in the quantities greater than which is required to meet the nutritional requirement, especially for weaning pigs. This review will focus on the application of pharmacological zinc and its mechanisms which may be responsible for the effects of zinc on performance and health of monogastric animals. Various novel sources of zinc in non-ruminant animal production will also be discussed. These should assist in more precisely formulating feed to maximize the production performance and to maintain the health condition of monogastric animals.
Imidazole derivatives for efficient organic light-emitting diodes
Ye Shaofeng,Zhuang Shaoqing,Pan Biao,Guo Runda,Wang Lei 한국정보디스플레이학회 2020 Journal of information display Vol.21 No.3
Since the first development of organic light-emitting diodes (OLEDs) in 1987, imidazole derivatives, mainly including phenanthroimidazole (PI) and benzimidazole (BI), have increasingly attracted attention. Their strong electron-withdrawing properties make them suitable for emitters, hosts, and electron-transporting materials (ETMs). In this review, an overview of the recent developments regarding OLEDs based on imidazole derivatives, especially the relationship between the molecule structure and the device performance as fluorescent and host materials, is given.
Knockout of the EgriBLOS2 gene results in the transparent integuments of Ectropis grisescens larvae

The body colors of insects have evolved specialized roles in body protection, signaling and physiology. In some case, the larvae can camouflage their body colors to adapt the habitants and protect themselves. However, the genetic and molecular basis on larval body colors of the tea geometrid, Ectropis grisescens, remains poorly known. Here, we reported an effect of the lysosome-related organelles complex-1, subunit 2 (EgriBLOS2) gene knockout on larval integuments of E. grisescens, by using a clustered regularly interspaced short palindromic repeat (CRISPR)/CRISPR-associated protein 9 (Cas9) system. Combining transcriptomic data and PCR approaches, we first identified the EgriBLOS2 gene from E. grisescens, which encoded 137 amino acids and comprised 3 introns. In the phylogenetic analysis, EgriBLOS2 clustered in the Lepidoptera clade with high conservation to members in other lepidopteran species. Developmental expression profiles revealed that EgriBLOS2 was constantly tran scribed at each stage, in which its expression was significantly lower in 2nd instar larvae than that of other instars. After injecting EgriBLOS2-specific guide RNA and Cas9 messenger RNA into eggs, 70% of larvae showed the translucent integuments in G0 generation, with an emphasis on black splayed patterns in the 2nd and 8th segments of abdomens. However, some typical characteristics of larvae were not obviously changed in mutant instars, such as ocelli, mouthparts and other appendants. This study has unraveled the roles of EgriBLOS2 in the formation of larval integument colors, and provides an alternative strategy for pest management based on the colors in this species.
