        Resveratrol Exerts Dosage-Dependent Effects on the Self-Renewal and Neural Differentiation of hUC-MSCs

        Resveratrol (RES) plays a critical role in the fate of cells and longevity of animals via activation of the sirtuins1 (SIRT1) gene. In the present study, we intend to investigate whether RES could promote the self-renewal and neural-lineage differentiation in human umbilical cord derived MSCs (hUC-MSCs) in vitro at concentrations ranging from 0.1 to $10{\mu}M$, and whether it exerts the effects by modulating the SIRT1 signaling. Herein, we demonstrated that RES at the concentrations of 0.1, 1 and $2.5{\mu}M$ could promote cell viability and proliferation, mitigate senescence and induce expression of SIRT1 and Proliferating Cell Nuclear Antigen (PCNA) while inhibit the expression of p53 and p16. However, the effects were reversed by 5 and $10{\mu}M$ of RES. Furthermore, RES could promote neural differentiation in a dose-dependent manner as evidenced by morphological changes and expression of neural markers (Nestin, ${\beta}III-tubulin$ and NSE), as well as pro-neural transcription factors Neurogenin (Ngn)1, Ngn2 and Mash1. Taken together, RES exerts a dosage-dependent effect on the self-renewal and neural differentiation of hUC-MSCs via SIRT1 signaling. The current study provides a new strategy to regulate the fate of hUC-MSCs and suggests a more favorable in vitro cell culture conditions for hUCMSCs-based therapies for some intractable neurological disorders.

        Based on STC microprocessor as a center of the transmitting and receiving parts, apply the interrupt systems, timers, counters integrated. Using Code-Division infrared coding, infrared receiver distinguishes the light pulse , judges and makes the corresponding control actions to complete the all infrared remote control transmitter and receiver process. Combination of the software programs, after commissioning the system can achieve multiple dimming function, such as LED lamp PWM dimming, alternating current filament lamp dimming, multiple channel switches. The system realized the function that weak power can control not only flea power but also strong power. This system has the feature of simple hardware circuit, sophisticated software capability, high cost performance. At the same time the study of intelligent lighting control system contributes to the improvement and development of the intelligent home system.

        Mechanism of nitrogen-fluoride co-doped TiO2/bentonite composites removing tetracycline: A study in the co-doping ratio

        N-doped and N-F co-doped TiO2/bentonite composites were synthesized via the gel-sol method. The morphology, structure and surface charge of the composite before and after adsorption were used to determine the effect N/F doping ratio on TC removal. The results showed that, compared with undoped samples, the TC adsorption on N doped composites was reduced by 24.44% on average. N-F co-doping significantly increased the TC adsorption when the Ti-N-F molar ratio was 1:1: 0.01, reaching a maximum TC adsorption of 64.00 mmol·kg−1. The coverage of the N doped TiO2 increases as the N doping ratio increases; the specific surface area increased by 2.03 % on average, but the number of surface negative charges decreased by 36.24 % on average. FT-IR results confirmed that N doping reduced the number of -OH groups on the N-doped composites. Additionally, fluorination of N-F co-doped TiO2 and bentonite surfaces inhibits hydrogen bonding and π-π interactions between the TC and the composites. As the N doping ratio increased, the coverage of N-F co-doped TiO2 on the composite surface increased, resulting in the TC adsorption decrease with the increases N doping ratio.

        만약 <햇빛 쨍한 날>이 열광적인 혁명 이상주의의 격정에 의해 군대 안뜰 아이의 성장에 대한 열렬한 추억으로 완성되었다면, <태양은 다시 떠오른다>는 이전의 열광적인 혁명 이상주의에 대한 반역이다. <태양은 다시 떠오른다>의 주역은 이미 혁명적 이상주의의 열광적인 열정을 지닌 아이들이 아니라, 지식인과 일반 대중을 문화대혁명의 역사 무대 위로 밀어올렸다. 강문은 <양광찬란적일자: 햇빛 쏟아지던 날들>에서 드러나는 혁명가 후손들의 집단적 나르시즘의 우월감과 상실감을 재설정 · 수정함으로써, 혁명의 서사 방식을 규정적 정치 이데올로기에 대한 순종에서 문혁 정치 이데올로기에 대한 저항으로 전환시켰다. 강문은 앞의 두 영화보다 한걸음 더 나아가 상상과 은유적인 방식으로 중국식 혁명의 발생을 연역하고 환원시켰다. 혁명에 대한이 허구적인 재구성과 연역은 어느 정도에서 구식 중국혁명에 대한 일종의 대응이거나 미래의 중국식혁명에 대한 일종의 우화라고도 할 수 있다. 중국 감독 강문 (姜文)의 영화 서사는 뚜렷한 개인화 예술 특징을 가지고 있다. 독특한 서사 전술은 다양한 주제의 함의를 보여주고, 의식의 흐름과 인문적 사색이 서로 결합되어 표상에서 문화 질서의 반성으로 확장되었다. 그는 사실적 시점과 강씨의 유머를 영화 속에 녹여내는 등 독특한 표현수법으로 영화서사공간을 창조하여 자신만의 창작스타일을 형성하였다. If < Sunshine Day > was completed with passionate memories of the growth of a child in the military courtyard by the passion of frenzied revolutionary idealism, < The Sun Rises Again > is a rebellion against the frenzied revolutionary idealism of the past. The protagonist of 'Still Reminds' is not the children who already have the frenzied passion of revolutionary idealism, but has pushed intellectuals and the general public on the historical stage of the Cultural Revolution. By resetting and revising the sense of superiority and loss of ', the narrative style of the revolution was changed from obedience to the regulatory political ideology to resistance to the cultural and political ideology. It deduced and reduced the occurrence of the Chinese-style revolution. This fictional reconstruction and deduction of the revolution is, to some extent, a kind of response to the old-fashioned Chinese revolution or a kind of allegory for the Chinese-style revolution in the future. The cinematic narrative of Chinese director Jiang Wen has distinct personalization art features. The unique narrative tactics show the implications of various themes, and the flow of consciousness and humanistic speculation are combined to expand from representation to reflection on cultural order. He uses his unique expressive techniques, such as incorporating realistic viewpoints and Kang's humor into the film. By creating a cinematic narrative space, he formed his own creative style.

      • Mechanistic Insight into Nanoarchitected Ag/Pr<sub>6</sub>O<sub>11</sub> Catalysts for Efficient CO Oxidation

        <P>Ag/Pr<SUB>6</SUB>O<SUB>11</SUB> catalysts supported by either Pr<SUB>6</SUB>O<SUB>11</SUB> nanorods (Pr<SUB>6</SUB>O<SUB>11</SUB>-NRs) or nanoparticles (Pr<SUB>6</SUB>O<SUB>11</SUB>-NPs) were prepared by conventional incipient wetness impregnation. The nanocomposite of Ag/Pr<SUB>6</SUB>O<SUB>11</SUB>-NRs demonstrated a higher catalytic activity for CO oxidation than Ag/Pr<SUB>6</SUB>O<SUB>11</SUB>-NPs at lower temperatures. This improved performance may be ascribed to the mesoporous features and resultant oxygen vacancies of the Pr<SUB>6</SUB>O<SUB>11</SUB> nanorods support, as well as the large surface area and homogeneous loading of Ag species. As a result, 98.7 and 100% CO conversions were achieved at 210 and 240 °C for Ag/Pr<SUB>6</SUB>O<SUB>11</SUB>-NRs, while Ag/Pr<SUB>6</SUB>O<SUB>11</SUB>-NPs require a temperature of 320 °C to obtain the 100% CO conversion rate.         Ellagic acid exerts anti‑fibrotic effects on hypertrophic scar fibroblasts via inhibition of TGF‑β1/Smad2/3 pathway

        Hypertrophic scar (HS) is a kind of serious pathological scar with no currently effective treatment. HS fibroblasts (HSFs) are the main effector cells for HS formation. Ellagic acid (EA) exerts regulatory effects in some diseases, but its role in HS remains unclear. This study aimed to evaluate the effect of EA on the fibrotic phenotypes of HSFs and to further investigate the downstream signaling mechanism. The cell counting kit-8 (CCK-8) assay was used to perform cytotoxicity and proliferation assays. HSFs migration was assessed using wound healing and transwell assays. HSFs contraction was measured by a collagen lattice contraction assay and detection of α-smooth muscle actin (α-SMA) expression. The levels of mRNA and protein were determined by qPCR and western blotting, respectively. The results showed that EA inhibited the proliferation, migration, and contraction of HSFs and collagen expression in HSFs in a dose-dependent manner. Furthermore, EA not only suppressed the Smad2/3 pathway but also reversed TGF-β1- induced activation of the Smad2/3 pathway and up-regulation of the fibrotic cellular phenotypes in HSFs. These findings demonstrate that EA exerts anti-fibrotic effects on HSFs by blocking the TGF-β1/Smad2/3 pathway, which indicates that EA is a potential therapeutic candidate for treatment of HS.

        A Simple Structure of Zero-Voltage Switching (ZVS) and Zero-Current Switching (ZCS) Buck Converter with Coupled Inductor

        In this paper, a revolutionary buck converter is proposed with soft-switching technology, which is realized by a coupled inductor. Both zero-voltage switching (ZVS) of main switch and zero-current switching (ZCS) of freewheeling diode are achieved at turn on and turn off without using any auxiliary circuits by the resonance between the parasitic capacitor and the coupled inductor. Furthermore, the peak voltages of the main switch and the peak current of the freewheeling diode are significantly reduced by the coupled inductor. As a result, the proposed converter has the advantages of simple circuit, convenient control, low consumption and so on. The detailed operation principles and steady-state analysis of the proposed ZVS-ZCS buck converter are presented, and detailed power loss analysis and some simulation results are also included. Finally, experimental results based on a 200-W prototype are provided to verify the theory and design of the proposed converter.

        The Regulation of Phosphorus Release by Penicillium chrysogenum in Different Phosphate via the TCA Cycle and Mycelial Morphology

        Phosphate-solubilizing fungi (PSF) efficiently dissolve insoluble phosphates through the production of organic acids. This study investigates the mechanisms of organic acid secretion by PSF, specifically Penicillium chrysogenum, under tricalcium phosphate ( Ca3(PO4)2, Ca–P) and ferric phosphate ( FePO4, Fe–P) conditions. Penicillium chrysogenum exhibited higher phosphorus (P) release efficiency from Ca-P (693.6 mg/L) than from Fe–P (162.6 mg/L). However, Fe–P significantly enhanced oxalic acid (1193.7 mg/L) and citric acid (227.7 mg/L) production by Penicillium chrysogenum compared with Ca–P (905.7 and 3.5 mg/L, respectively). The presence of Fe–P upregulated the expression of genes and activity of enzymes related to the tricarboxylic acid cycle, including pyruvate dehydrogenase and citrate synthase. Additionally, Fe–P upregulated the expression of chitinase and endoglucanase genes, inducing a transformation of Penicillium chrysogenum mycelial morphology from pellet to filamentous. The filamentous morphology exhibited higher efficiency in oxalic acid secretion and P release from Fe–P and Ca–P. Compared with pellet morphology, filamentous morphology enhanced P release capacity by > 40% and > 18% in Ca–P and Fe–P, respectively. This study explored the strategies employed by PSF to improve the dissolution of different insoluble phosphates.
