      • Research on the influencing factors of the training of new professional farmers from the perspective of agricultural continuing education

        With the background of vigorously cultivating new professional farmers, this paper analyzes and collates the existing research results, comprehensively applies various related disciplines such as economics and management, and supports theories such as human capital theory and lifelong education theory to clarify the importance of cultivating new professional farmers. Based on the research status, This paper analyzes the problems existing in the training process of new professional farmers in Danling County, and discusses the factors that affect the willingness of new professional farmers to participate in training from the perspective of continuing agricultural education, so as to promote the construction of new rural areas in Danling, accelerate the development of agricultural modernization, realize the transformation of agricultural development mode, and then provide an operational perspective and theoretical support for breaking through the barriers of “three rural areas”.

        Design of Balanced Dual-Band Bandpass Filter with Self-Feedback Structure

        A balanced dual-band bandpass filter based on λ/2 stepped-impedance resonators and open-loop resonators is proposed in this letter. By employing a type of self-feedback structure, an extra transmission zero is introduced near the common-mode resonance frequency, and the common-mode signal is suppressed. The measured results indicate that the filter can operate in 2.46 GHz and 5.6 GHz bands, and the insertion loss is 1.85 dB and 1.9 dB, respectively. Also, better common-mode suppression is achieved.

        Digital transformation strategies for existed firms: from the perspectives of data ownership and key value propositions

        The diffusion and embeddedness of cyber technology and big data technology is recognized as an opportunity and infrastructure for firms to innovate and transform. But which digital strategies existed firms in manufacturing and other traditional industries can make is still a question under research. The paper pursues to answer this question from the perspectives of data ownership and key value propositions. From the dimension of data ownership and key value propositions, this research proposes a research framework to guide the analyses of digital transformation strategy. The four firms are used to identify five types of digital strategies, namely new product strategy, new value-added service strategy, customized strategy, product embedded in the platform, and platform service / product strategy based on the framework of digital transformation strategy decision. This research suggests that a firm can select the suitable strategy considering his key value proposition and ownership of data which the firm could use. The research contributes to the research and practices on the digitalization strategy and the digital transformation of firms, especially those in emerging economies.

      • KETCH1 imports HYL1 to nucleus for miRNA biogenesis in <i>Arabidopsis</i>

        <P>MicroRNA (miRNA) is processed from primary transcripts with hairpin structures (pri-miRNAs) by microprocessors in the nucleus. How cytoplasmic-borne microprocessor components are transported into the nucleus to fulfill their functions remains poorly understood. Here, we report KETCH1 (karyopherin enabling the transport of the cytoplasmic HYL1) as a partner of hyponastic leaves 1 (HYL1) protein, a core component of microprocessor in Arabidopsis and functional counterpart of DGCR8/Pasha in animals. Null mutation of ketch1 is embryonic-lethal, whereas knockdown mutation of ketch1 caused morphological defects, reminiscent of mutants in the miRNA pathway. ketch1 knockdown mutation also substantially reduced miRNA accumulation, but did not alter nuclear-cytoplasmic shuttling of miRNAs. Rather, the mutation significantly reduced nuclear portion of HYL1 protein and correspondingly compromised the pri-miRNA processing in the nucleus. We propose that KETCH1 transports HYL1 from the cytoplasm to the nucleus to constitute functional microprocessor in Arabidopsis. This study provides insight into the largely unknown nuclear-cytoplasmic trafficking process of miRNA biogenesis components through eukaryotes.</P>

        Energy Efficient Air-to-Ground Communication Networks with Reconfigurable Intelligent Surface

        Reconfigurable intelligent surface (RIS) assisted air- to-ground wireless powered communication networks (WPCNs) are constructed to promote the energy efficiency of the system, in which unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV) reflects energy towards the energy-constrained hybrid access points (HAP) through RIS. Subsequently, HAP uses the collected energy to communicate with users in blind areas through the RIS-UAV. By optimizing parameters such as charging time ratio, transmit power and phase shifts matrix, the energy efficiency for single and multi- user scenarios are maximized, respectively. The energy efficiency is modeled as a non-convex quadratic programming problem with inequality constraints in the single-user scenario. Then the problem is converted into an equivalent convex problem by using the Taylor expansion and convex approximation method. A joint optimization algorithm of power and phase shifts is proposed to obtain a feasible solution. The energy efficiency is modeled as a fractional programming problem with non-convex inequality constraints in the multi-user scenario, and the feasible solution is obtained by proposing an alternating algorithm. Finally, both two scenarios are compared with the system of traditional amplify- and-forward (AF) relay, respectively. Finally, the simulation results show that the proposed algorithms can provide up with 150% and 160% improvement of the energy efficiency in the single and multi-user scenarios, respectively, compared to the traditional AF relay.
