In the current investigation, we obtain the generating function for Hermite-based degenerate Bernoulli polynomials attached to χ of higher order using p-adic methods over the ring of integers. Useful identities, formulae and relations with well known families of polynomials and numbers including the Bernoulli numbers, Daehee numbers and the Stirling numbers are established. We also give identities of symmetry and additive property for Hermite-based generalized degenerate Bernoulli polynomials attached to χ of higher order. Results are supported by remarks and corollaries.

Waseem A. Khan,Idrees A. Khan,J.Y. Kang 한국전산응용수학회 2019 Journal of applied mathematics & informatics Vol.37 No.3
In the present paper, we introduce (p, q)-Frobenius-Genocchi numbers and polynomials and investigate some basic identities and properties for these polynomials and numbers including addition theorems, difference equations, derivative properties, recurrence relations and so on. Then, we provide integral representations, implicit and explicit formulas and relations for these polynomials and numbers. We consider some relationships for (p, q)-Frobenius-Genocchi polynomials of order α associated with (p, q)-Bernoulli polynomials, (p, q)-Euler polynomials and (p, q)-Genocchi polynomials.

The effect of aqueous and alcoholic extract of the leaves of Ocimum. sanctum was studied on the spontaneous movements of the whole worm (w.w) preparation and nerve muscle (n.m.) complex of Setaria cervi (S. cervi) and on the survival of microfilariae (m.f.) in vitro. Both the extracts caused inhibition of the spontaneous motility of the w.w. and n.m. complex of S. cervi characterized by initial stimulation followed by reversible paralysis, aqueous extract at a higher concentration showed immediate effect and irreversible paralysis. The concentration required to inhibit the movements of n.m. complex was $1/4^{th}$ for aqueous and $1/3^{rd}$ for alcoholic extract compared to that for the w.w., suggesting a cuticular permeability barrier. On the m.f. the lethal concentration (LC 50 and LC 90) were 35 and 50 ng/ml for aqueous whereas, 60 and 85 ng/ml for alcoholic extracts respectively.

This paper is designed to introduce a Hermite-based-poly-Bernoulli numbers and polynomials with $q$-parameter. By making use of their generating functions, we derive several summation formulae, identities and some properties that is connected with the Stirling numbers of the second kind. Furthermore, we derive symmetric identities for Hermite-based-poly-Bernoulli polynomials with $q$-parameter by using generating functions.

Catalyst-assisted c- and m-axis GaN NWs were grown on a c-plane GaN thin film by varying the NH3 flow rate and reactor pressure. The grown NWs were then utilized to fabricate the flexible piezoelectric nanogenerators (PNGs) to practically investigate the impact of the c- and m-axis GaN NWs on the piezoelectric response. Furthermore, the GaN/V2O5 core-shell structure was utilized in the NWs to suppress the internal carrier screening that degrades the piezoelectric output. The maximum output voltage (27 V) exhibited by core-shell c-axis NWs was thrice the voltage exhibited by pristine c-axis GaN NWs (9 V). A stability test was performed for one hour to verify the feasibility of using flexible PNGs for real applications. The high stability of PNGs was attributed to the flexibility and high crystallinity of the NWs.</P> <P><B>Highlights</B></P> <P> <UL> <LI> C- & m-axis GaN NWs are grown by MOCVD for piezoelectric generators. </LI> <LI> The piezoelectric output for pristine c-axis NWs is twice the output of m-axis NWs. </LI> <LI> The piezoelectric output of the GaN/V2O5 core-shell NWs is three times of pristine NWs. </LI> <LI> PNGs exhibited long-term stability due to excellent mechanical properties of NWs. </LI> <LI> GaN/V2O5 heterojunction suppressed the junction current screening effect. </LI> </UL> </P> <P><B>Graphical abstract</B></P> <P>GaN/V2O5 core-shell nanowire (NW) piezoelectric generators of controlled crystallographic orientations are reported. COMPUTATIONAL STUDY OF DIFFERENT FACTORS IN NOx FORMATION
Waseem Amjad,Muhammad Imtiaz,In-Gweon Lim(임인권) 한국연소학회 2008 KOSCOSYMPOSIUM논문집 Vol.- No.-
NOx formation during the combustion process occurs mainly through the oxidation of nitrogen in the combustion air (thermal NOx) and through oxidation of nitrogen with the fuel (prompt NOx). In this paper a numerical simulation is carried out to investigate one of the way to reduce the thermal NOx by the increase of the flame lift-off length for the lowering of peak flame temperature which is considered the main cause of thermal NOx. The flame lift-off length was analyzed by temperature contours and this length was found to be influenced by several factors such as fuel injection velocity, gas pressure, air temperature and fuel type. Different orifice diameters (1.0, 0.85, 0.65 ㎜) in an injection nozzle were used for this purpose using CFD software "FLUENT". The fuel injection velocities were 150, 100, 80 and 50 m/sec. It was observed that the NOx formation was reduced as the flame lift-off length increases with increased injection pressure, decreased orifice diameter, decreased gas pressure (back pressure).

The fast evolving Electric vehicles (EVs) have become popular due to their zero-emission, fuel economy and better technology. However, the performance and life of batteries are very sensitive to temperature, it is important to maintain the proper temperature range. The battery thermal management system (BTMS) plays an important role in the performance of EVs. In this context, this study is conducted to evaluate the thermal performance of a battery with a parallel system using an induction heater. The GT-Suite software is used for simulation and evaluation. Mixture of water and ethylene glycol 50:50 is used as a working fluid and controlled by pump and valves. The heating rate of battery was analyzed by changing the capacity of induction heater 2, 4 and 6 kW and the flow rate of fluid was 2, 3, 5, 7, 10 and 27 LPM. The simulation work predicts that the battery heating rate increases with the increase in fluid flow. The study concluded that the battery heating rate is maximum with a flow rate of 27 LPM which is the highest amount of LPM, indicating that the rise in flow rate causes the increase in heating rate of the system which is also affected by induction heater capacity.
