        Computation of pressure fluctuation frequency in electronic unit pump for diesel engine

        Pressure variations inside a fuel injection system can lead to fluctuations in injected fuel quantity during injections and therefore candirectly impact the stability and performance coherence of the fuel injection system and the engine it matched. Concepts of hydrauliccapacitance and hydraulic inductance are introduced into fuel injection system by referencing LC oscillator electric circuit. A LC undampedhydraulic mathematical model is developed based on the structural parameters of the electronic unit pump (EUP). Pressure fluctuationfrequency during injection process at different operating conditions of the EUP is computed by the LC undamped model. It isobserved that the frequencies of pressure fluctuations tend to increase with the fuel injection process. Pressure curves and pressure fluctuationfrequencies obtained by experiments at different operating conditions validated the results predicted by the LC undampedmathematical model.

        The paper by analyzing the existence current situation of multiple independent information systems for maritime departments, proposes can use the Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) for the AIS information sharing to do theoretical direction and functional design, in order to solve information island phenomenon of data exchange difficulty between maritime each independent information system. Based on SOA AIS information sharing adopts software engineering method based on service oriented theory, encapsulates AIS data distribution function module as Web service, achieves conveniently called by desktop, mobile phone and so on many kinds of client cross platform, cross platform, cross language, and has the ability to publish the service aggregation integrated with other server GIS service.

        A morphological study on autumnal morphs of Aphis glycines (Hemiptera: Aphididae)

        The soybean aphid, Aphis glycines Matsumura (Hemiptera: Aphididae), is one of the most important pests of soybean. The complex life cycle of A. glycines is characterized as heteroecious and holocyclic, and has seasonal polymorphisms occurring during its life cycle. In the autumn, A. glycines occur as winged and wingless virginoparae in soybeans, as gynoparae and males that migrate from soybeans to Rhamnus spp. and as gynoparae, males and oviparae on Rhamnus spp. In this study, wingless virginoparae, gynoparae, males and oviparae of A. glycines were successfully induced in the laboratory and morphological parameters of these morphs were selected for quantitation. To aid in identification of these A. glycines autumnal morphs, these aphids were imaged by microscope and significant differences in morphological characteristics were found: distal parts of hind leg femurs of gynoparae were grayish black, which were darker than those of winged virginoparae; the 4th instars of gynoparae, males and winged virginoparae differ greatly in dorsal abdomen coloration and covering. Our results provide an important guide for distinguishing adults of gynoparae and winged virginoparae, and for identifying nymphs of gynoparae, males and winged virginoparae.

        Correlation analysis of factors influencing the electronic unit pump cycle fuel injection quantity under overall operating conditions for diesel engines

        Electronic unit pump (EUP) can satisfy both diesel engine emission legislation and fuel economy by improving injection pressure and numerical control. Fluctuations in cycle fuel injection quantity (CFIQ) of EUP determine the coherence and stability of the EUP fuel injection system. The EUP simulation model is developed in the AMESim environment. The method for the simulation experiment is designed in the MODDE environment using the design of experiments method. The results of the simulation reveal the variation laws of correlation between parameters with interaction or no interaction under overall operating conditions of diesel engines. In addition, the results also show the EUP system is a complex nonlinear system. Under overall operating conditions, all the characteristic parameters,such as fuel supply pressure, cam profile velocity, control valve lift, injector opening pressure, injector needle lift, and injector flow coefficient,have significant correlation with CFIQ. The interacting first-order factors exhibit the most significant correlation with CFIQ. The self-interacting second-order factors have significant secondary correlation with CFIQ.
