Branched Poly(ethylene imine)과 Glycine 이성분계의 산 해리 거동

The acid dissociation constants of protonated branched poly(ethylene imine) (BPEH+) and glycine(GlyH) binary system were determined by potentiometric titration method in 0.1M KCl at 30℃. The acid dissociation constants were increased with BPEH+ mole fraction, and the values of n, Henderson-Hasselbalch constants were increased with mole fraction. The observed pKa values were 8.62 for GlyH. The calculated values can be found to agree with the observed results.

A retrospective clinical and histologic study of 30 non-Hodgkin's lymphomas diagnosed at the Department of Hemato-oncology of the Chosun University from January 1989 to December 1993 is presented. Among total 30 cases whose sexes were mentioned, male were 18 and female were 12 and the ratio is 1.5:1. The peak incidence of non-Hodgkin's lymphoma was found in the third decade. The case distributions by Working formulation were summarized in table 3. The most common histopathologic type of non-Hodgkin's lymphoma was the diffuse large cell type of intermediate grade. The presenting symptoms at the time of first visit to the hospital were summarized in table 4. The most common symptoms were palpable mass. Lymph node enlargements were found in 87 %, and most frequently on cervical area(35%). The incidence of primary nodal lymphoma is more frequent than extranodal lymphoma, 1.2:1. The most common primary site of extranodal lymphoma is the gastrointestinal tract. In the laboratory findings, the data of hemoglobin and hematocrit were summarized in table 8, 9, Values of hemoglobin and hematocrit of female patients greater than those of male patients. The results of the immunophenotypings of nodal and extranodal lymphoma indicates that the B-cell lymphoma are predominant(B:T=1.4:1). The clinical stage was Ⅱ in 9 cases(30%) Ⅲ in 9 cases(30%), Ⅳ in 8 cases(26.7%), Ⅰin 4 cases(13.3%), 28 cases were treated with CHOP regimen. Among them, 17 cases(60.8%) achieved a complete remission. 5 cases had a partial response. The most frequent toxicities were toxic hepatitis.
고분자-금속착물(Ⅳ)ㆍPolypropyleneimine-Ni(Ⅱ) 착물의 촉매활성도

이상의 실험결과로 보아 중합체 리간드 사슬에 치환기가 있거나, 분자량이 큰 중합체 리간드는 금속착물의 촉매작용을 증가시키는 것을 알 수 있으며, 치환기의 크기를 변화시키거나 증합체의 분자량을 조절함으로써 금속착물의 촉매작용을 조절할 수 있다는 것을 알 수 있다. 메틸기보다 더 큰 알킬기(에틸,n-프로필 등)를 가졌거나 여러가지 분자량을 가진 중합체 리간드로 된 금속착물의 합성 및 촉매활성도 조사가 현재 진행중에 있으며 이 실험결과는 이미 합성된 PPI 리간드의 분자량과 함께 다음의 완보에 발표될 것이다.

The temporary acid dissociation constants (pK'?) of GlyH-BPEIH? mixed ligand were determined by pH titration method at 30℃ in 0.1M KCl. Obtained constants were increased with BPEIH?/GlyH mole dration decreasing, and experimental constant n valued were decreased with mole ratio decreasing. Stability constants of ternary complexes, Cu(II)-Gly-BPEI were lager than the binary complexes and the constants were increased with BPEIH?GlyH mole ratio decreasing. The visible absorption spectra were confirmed that Cu(II)-Gly-BPEI, the ternary polymer-metal complexes, coordinated to six coordinating site by ligands of BPEI and Gly.

The Complexation of poly (ethyleneimine) (PEI) with copper (Ⅱ), nickel(Ⅱ) and palladium(Ⅱ) ions was studied in 1M KCL at 25℃. The potentiometrically determind logarithms of the overall formation constants (log ??) at 6.0 and 10.0 mole ratio of PEI/M(Ⅱ) was as follows: 13.94 and 11.20 for log K₂ of PEI ??, 18.97 or log K₃ and 12.12 for log K₂ of PEI ??, and 13.98 and 11.08 for log K₂ of PEI-??, respectively The order of successive formation constants was increased as follows: when mole ratio of PEI/M(Ⅱ) is 6.0, Ni<Cu<Pd for log k₁ and Pd<Cu<Ni for log k₂; when mole ratio of PEI/M(Ⅱ) is 10.0, Pd??Cu<Ni for log k₁ and log k₂.

The stability constants of the mixed ligand complexes that indicate branched Ploy(ethylene imine) and glycine, were determined by potentiometric titration at 30℃ and I=0.1M KCl. The stabiliy constants were calculated from the Bjerrum and modifed Bjerrum methods. The over all stability constants (log β₃) of mixed ligand complexes of Ni(Ⅱ) were 21.10 by the Bjerrum method and 20.70 by the modified Bierrum method. The values of over all stability constants from the Bjerrum method were in good agreement with the modified method, in spite of different from the calculation methods of the stability constants.

[Cu(en)₂PEI]SO₄and [Cu(en)PEI]SO₄type polymeric complexes of octahedral form were prepared from ethylenediamine(en)-Cu(Ⅱ) complexes and polyethyleneimine(PEI) by procedure similar to that reported for the preparation of[Ni(PEI)]Cl₂. Moreover, their catalytic activities in the decomposition reaction of hydrogen peroxide were compared with those of corresponding square planer monomeric complexes[Cu(en)₂]·SO₄and [Cu(en)(H₂O)₂]SO₄; it was found that their activities decrease in the following order: [Cu(en)₂PEI]SO₄??[Cu(en)₂]SO₄??[Cu(en)PEI]SO₄>[Cu(en)(H₂O)₂]SO₄

Cr(Ⅲ), Co(Ⅱ), Ni(Ⅱ) and Cu(Ⅱ) complexes with polyethyleneimine(PEI) as ligands have been prepared in absolute ethanol, and the structures of the complexes were chracterized by reflectance and infrared spectra. The structures of obtained complexes were pendant-type and polymer chelate type. [Cr(H₂O)₄ CI(PEI)CI₂] with pendant-type was insoluble in organic solvents, acids, DMF and DMSO, another complexes, [Co(PEI)]CI₂ [Ni(PEI)]CI₂ and [Cu(PEI)]CI₂ with polymer chelate were soluble in water. Especially, in aqueous solution, chlorides of [Ni(PEI)]CI₂ was substituted by H₂O.
Cu(Ⅱ)이온과 Poly(vinyl alcohol)간에 생성되는 고분자-금속 착물의 열역학적 거동에 관한 연구

The dissociation constants for poly(vinyl alcohol) (PVA) at a constant ionic strength of μ=0.1(KCl) were measured by potentiometric titration at various temperatures. The formation constants for the Cu(II)-PVA complex at the same condition were also measured in this study. From the temperature dependence of those dissociation and formation constants, various thermodynamic parameters such as ΔG, ΔH, ΔS were determined. From the thermodynamic parameters, it was concluded that the dissociation of a proton from PVA is unfavorable with a negative entropy and positive enthalpy. In contrast, the complex formation was a spontaneous and exothermic process with favorable entropy.
Pd(Ⅱ)이온과 Linear Poly(ethyleneimine)간에 생성되는 고분자-금속 착물의 구조와 성질에 관한 연구

Pd(II) metal ion has attracted interest of many researchers because of its potential applications and of its similarity and difference in chemical properties. In this study, complex formation of Pd(II) metal ion with polymeric amine ligand namely, linear poly(ethyleneimine)(LPEI), was investigated utilizing spectroscopic and potentiometric methods as well as elementary analysis. From UV/VIS spectroscopic study, complexation of LEPI to Pd(II) ion exhibit an absorption band at 347nm at the low mole ratio (below 2.0). This species can be understood either as the binuclear complex bridged by chloride ions or a complex of Pd(II) ion with three chloride ions and an amine group. At the high mixing ratio, absorption spectrum centered at 300nm was apparent, which is due to the complexation of LPEI to the Pd(II) ion. Mole ratio analysis for the LPEI-Pd(II) system revealed that complex formation was most stable at the LPEI ratio of 4.0 relative to metal ion. This result was confirmed by elementary analysis. From the potentiometric titration, successive and overall stability constants were measured and the results were analyzed by a modified Bjerrum method.
