모바일 장치를 위한 동작 추적형 이미지 브라우징 시스템

현재 대부분의 모바일 장치들엔 디지털 카메라가 설치되어 있으며 많은 양의 이미지 데이터들을 저장할 수 있다. 하지만, 이러한 경우 장치 속의 이미지들에 대한 브라우징을 하기 어려워지고, 그에 걸리는 시간도 증가하게 된다. 특히 모바일 장치의 경우 화면의 크기가 작으며, 일반 컴퓨터와 비교하여 부자연스럽고, 불편한 인터페이스를 갖고 있어 어려움을 더욱 증가 시킨다. 우리는 이를 해결하기 위해 3차원 가시화 방법과 모션 센싱을 이용한 인터페이스를 제안하고, 제안된 가시화 방법과 인터페이스의 조합을 통해 모바일 장치에서의 효과적인 이미지 브라우징 방법을 모색해 보았다. 또한 제안한 방법들을 기존의 방법과 비교하여 사용성 평가를 하였다. Most recent mobile devices can store a massive amount of images. However, the typical user interface of mobile devices, such as a small-size 2D display and discrete-input buttons, make the browsing and manipulation of images cumbersome and time-consuming. As an alternative, we adopt motion-based interaction along with a 3D layout of images, expecting such an intuitive and natural interaction may facilitate the tasks. We designed and implemented a motion-based interaction scheme for image browsing using an ultra mobile PC, and evaluated and compared its usability to that of the traditional button-based interaction. The effects of data layouts (tiled and fisheye cylindrical layouts) were also investigated to see whether they can enhance the effectiveness of the motion based interaction.
DED 공정을 이용한 노후 부품 보수시 적층 형상과 기저부 경사각에 따른 보수부 잔류 응력 및 변형 특성 변화 고찰

The residual characteristics of a component repaired via directed energy deposition (DED) depend significantly the geometry of the deposited region. The aim of this study is to investigate the effects of the deposited shape and substrate slope on the residual stress and deformation characteristics to repair an old component via DED. To estimate the residual stress and displacement distributions for different deposited shapes and substrate slopes, thermo-mechanical finite element analyses (FEAs) are performed using SYSWELD. S45C structural steel is used to model the material of the deposited region and substrate. The FEA results show that the residual stress and displacement decrease when the deposited region on the flat region of the substrate increases. The maximum residual stress and residual deformation distribution are minimized for the case involving a substrate slope of 45° and the Type 3 deposited shape. Based on the results above, an appropriate design for the deposited shape and substrate slope is proposed.
Investigation of Multi-bead Deposition Characteristics of Inconel 718 Using DED Process

The Directed energy deposition (DED) process uses a high-density energy source like laser to locally melt the substrate and deposition material and deposited it layer by layer. In order to manufacture products using the DED process, firstly must be considered the relationship of process parameters. In this study, investigation of multi-bead deposition characteristics according to laser power, scan speed, and hatch distance. The substrate and the powder materials are Inconel 718 superalloy. Through experimentation, deposited specimens were fabricated, and bead shape and dilution layer shape data were acquired through post-processing. The relationship between the heat history and the bead generation according to the process parameters was investigated using heat transfer analysis. As a result of the experiment and analysis, it was concluded that the hatch distance should be changed as the laser power and the scan speed to obtain a constant plane.
