A Wirelessly Powered Expanding-Extending Robotic Capsule Endoscope for Human Intestine

Instruments for GI diagnostics are increasingly moving toward robotic capsule endoscopes because of their locomotion capabilities. This paper presents a wirelessly powered robotic capsule endoscope that can actively move in the small bowel exploiting the expanding–extending principle. After analyzing the demands of the locomotion, a novel radial motion mechanism with a large expanding/retracting radial ratio was designed, as was an axial motion mechanism with a compact structure. A control system with a special position detector to let the micro-motors avoiding stall state was developed to enhance the stability of the mechanism and reduce the robot’s power requirements. The wireless power system enabled the robot to inspect the full length of the intestinal tract. The assembled micro-robot was 14 mm in diameter and 45 mm in length. The maximum anchoring diameter was 32 mm, and the axial telescopic length was 9.5 mm. The test results proved the feasibility of the robot.
Maximal inequalities for some dependent sequences and their applications

In this paper, we obtain the maximal inequalities for linear process, ϕ-mixing sequence and linearly negative quadrant dependent (LNQD) sequence when the rth moments of random variables are finite for r > 2. Applying these maximal inequalities above, we get the Hájek–Rényi-type inequality, strong law of large numbers, strong growth rate and integrability of supremum for these three sequences.
Revealed Comparative Economies of Scope and Development Index

In this note, we attempt to construct some summary statistic to measure economic development and make comparisons across countries. A development index is defined in terms of both "scale" and "scope". "Scale" is measured by output per capita. "Scope" is measured by revealed comparative economies of scope, which in turn is measured by the ratio of the variety of exports over the variety of imports for a country. Using purchasing power parity and the Standard International Trade Classification, we have computed the development index for forty countries.

Teaching ability of aerobics is crucial to the development of aerobics athletes. It is also an effective way to evaluate the qualification of an aerobics coach. Aerobics teaching has many limitations. Current evaluation model of teaching ability of aerobics is far from complete. Thus, this paper proposes an optimized evaluation method and model of teaching ability of aerobics based on multiple intelligence theory. It constructs an evaluation index system of teaching ability of aerobics, taking into account aerobics teaching design, teaching implementation and teaching effective. Indicators are assigned weight. By analyzing the grey correlation degree between different indicators of teaching ability of aerobics and the optimal indicator, we can get the evaluation result for teaching ability of aerobics. An empirical study proves that the evaluation method has efficacy.

Aerobics athletes’ competitiveness is influenced by many factors. Evaluation on athletes’ competitiveness is a complicated decision process of multiple purposes. Given that the effectiveness of evaluation holds great significance to enhance athletes’ competitiveness; this paper proposes a fuzzy evaluation model of aerobics athletes’ competitiveness based on the fuzzy interval numbers. Firstly, it constructs an evaluation index system and standardizes indicators according to the interval number. Secondly, it establishes the fuzzy correlation model of interval numbers for different categories of indicators and measures the competitiveness level of aerobics according to fuzzy approaching degree. Finally, it employs cases to prove the efficacy and availability of the model.
Elbow flow analysis and optimal exhaust port profile design

In this study, the exhaust port profile of a diesel engine was numerically analyzed and optimized. First, the elbow profile results show that the separation loss of lower profile plays the main role in overall separation loss, it decreases sharply and then slowly with an increase of r lower /d. Within the range of 0 ≤ r lower /d ≤ 5, the total secondary flow loss increases sharply and then slowly with an increase of r lower /d. Under the same condition of relative pressure difference and lower profile, the elbow discharge coefficient increases with an increase of d mid /r upper and remains almost constant when d mid /r upper >1. The maximum discharge coefficient under a certain r lower condition increases with an increase of r lower . Afterwards, the applicability of elbow profile results to exhaust port were verified and an exhaust port profile design method was established based on a circular arc profile. Finally the feasibility of exhaust port profile design method was verified experimentally.
Strong limit theorems for weighted sums of NOD sequence and exponential inequalities

Some properties for negatively orthant dependent sequence are discussed. Some strong limit results for the weighted sums are obtained, which generalize the corresponding results for independent sequence and negatively associated sequence. At last, exponential inequalities for negatively orthant dependent sequence are presented.
MAXIMAL INEQUALITIES AND STRONG LAW OF LARGE NUMBERS FOR AANA SEQUENCES

Let {$X_n$, $n{\geq}1$} be a sequence of asymptotically almost negatively associated random variables and $S_n=\sum^n_{i=1}X_i$. In the paper, we get the precise results of H$\acute{a}$jek-R$\acute{e}$nyi type inequalities for the partial sums of asymptotically almost negatively associated sequence, which generalize and improve the results of Theorem 2.4-Theorem 2.6 in Ko et al. ([4]). In addition, the large deviation of $S_n$ for sequence of asymptotically almost negatively associated random variables is studied. At last, the Marcinkiewicz type strong law of large numbers is given.
